"Lexie you have to call him!"

Lexie's lunch with Spencer went off without a hitch. They went to a small diner down the street from the bookstore. They talked until the sun went down.

Lexie was mesmerized by Spencer. They were basically the same person. He was 30 and knew everything. She knew what it was like always being the geeky smart kid who was bullied for being the smartest. They were both the 'young genius' in their workplaces and they both saved lives for a living, granted, being a profiler for the FBI was a lot cooler than a surgical resident.

"Caroline we just met yesterday!" Lexie exclaimed as she sat twiddling her phone in her hand. She did want to call Spencer, she longed to know more about him. She was attracted to him, but she didn't want to seem clingy.

"Ugh Lex, if you want a guy to date you, you have to show you're interested." Caroline was Lexie's roommate and best friend in Virginia. She was more outgoing than Lexie, she could strike up a conversation with anyone she saw. She was also a resident at UVA. She was very energetic, she was consistently taking Lexie to clubs on her days off.

"I can tell you like this guy, he's you in a male body," Caroline said through her smile as she sipped her wine.

Just then Lexie's phone went off. The bright screen displays 'Spencer Reid'. Lexie lifted the phone and flashed the screen name to Caroline who squealed in excitement.

"Hello?" Lexie spoke as she brought the phone to her ear.

"Hi Lexie" Spencer mumbled "D-do you want to go to dinner tonight?" he stammered out.

Ever since their lunch, Spencer has been trying to work up the courage to call the girl he was very interested in. everything about her was beautiful to him. He never wanted to leave her side.

"I would love to, Spencer '' Lexie beamed. Spencer could hear her smile through the phone.

"O-okay great, I'll pick you up at 8:00."

They said their goodbyes and Spencer put his phone back on his desk. He let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding in. He didn't think a girl like Lexie would have any interest in him, he's never been so relieved. It was 3:00, as long as no case was called in in the next two hours, he was in the clear. His wish was granted. When 5:00 came around, he was free of a case. Spencer went home and then the nerves sent it.

"Blue or white?" Lexie asked Caroline as she held two different dresses up to her body in front of the mirror.

"Definitely the white, it makes your body look great" Caroline winked at Lexie.

"What if I spill something on it?" Lexie asked nervously. To say that she was nervous was an understatement. She hadn't been in a relationship since Mark died, let alone been on a date. She wanted Spencer to like her, she liked him.

"Alexandra Caroline Grey. This man has a thing for you, it doesn't matter what you're wearing or what happens, he just wants to be with you." Caroline practically yelled at Lexie.

"Thanks, C" Lexie smiled. "I think I will wear the white". She said with confidence.

She put on the dress and went into the bathroom to finish getting ready. The dress she chose was a white bodycon dress that ended right before her knees. She had curled her hair and even put on makeup. She was ready, she looked great, but she couldn't get Mark out of her head. She knew he would want her to move on, she wanted to move on. Mark wasn't coming back. She knew that, so she took a deep breath and straightened her dress one more time.

Just in time for a knock on the door.
