Semicolons are a symbol

Of the unspoken

The people that want to vent

And the ones that want to scream

They symbolize the ones

That went through many hardships

And have been through a lot

Mental Illness is not a joke

Its something

That affects many people

And brakes many more

Many are locked up in their thoughts

And others eaten by their silhouettes

So many drown

While only a couple rise

A semicolon

Represents the silence of many

And the broken ones

The ones that wanted to drown

And never come back

Its a sentences

The author could've ended

But chose not to

This semicolon

Holds a very special place in my heart now

It represents all the times

I could've ended it all

But still continued to fight

Help the ones that

Are on the edge of the cliff

Make their story continue

And never shut them out

Help them speak up

And make their story heard

Please keep fighting

Even though it may seem hard right now

Don't let your voices consume you

Show the silhouettes

You make your own decisions

And that you are great

I love you all my stars

Thank you for being alive

I am grateful to you all

And thank you for changing my life

For helping me in my darkest times

And showing me true paradise
