It's been a couple of weeks since I started living with Hawks. He was really nice and it was fun to be with him. Not only did he help me understand my quirk better but it turned out, I was bad at flying and manouvering up in the air. He showed me how to do it better and he took me for a flight every day.

He was really one of the best brothers you could have! I loved him and I was soo thankfull that he was there for me with everything that was going on. The hero commission also somehow got information about me and my quirk which made my brother go out and have a discussion with them for a long long time.

I could see how tired he was and each night I would use the feather I left in his room to heal him and replenisch some energy. It might not be visible wounds but I could tell when he was tired and just needed a break. He was my brother after all and so I took care about him.

This was also one of these days we two were lazing around on the floor when he got a call and went out of the room only to return an hour later back.

Me: What's wrong brother?

Hawks: I am sorry feathers.

Me: What do you mean?

Hawks: They just called me in for a mission.

Me: So what? You been on missions all the time.

Hawks: This one is different.

Me: What you mean?

Hawks: I need to go undercover to get into a villain organization.

Me: Wait! WHAT!

Hawks: Don't worry about me.

Me: No brother!

The moment I heard him say that I was up from the ground and started hugging him not even letting him go. I refused to let this chicken fly away. I just found my family and now I was about to lose it again. Not with me!

Me: Can't you say no?

Hawks: Come on feathers, I'll be back, I promise.

Me: But you are a hero!

Hawks: That's why they are sending me.

Me: The number three? Everyone knows you tho!

Hawks: I know. This is more like payback.

Me: For what? You done everything they asked.

Hawks: Yes but they still want you.

Me: But!

Hawks: I promise, I'll return in once piece.

Me: AND ALIVE!

Hawks: And alive.

Me: I'll be lonely without you tho.

Hawks: I'll get Endeavor to take you in.

Me: But he isn't you.

Hawks: I know, feathers. I'll miss you too.

Me: You really can't ditch this?

Hawks: Nope. I would love to but there is no way.

Me: Then take a feather with you! You have to keep it on you! Promise it!

Hawks: I promise.

Just like that I forced a feather on him. It was one of my smaller ones which I also made into a neckless. Normally I wouldn't do this but I knew how much he had to go out and do hero work and even if I was not arround I could still heal him with this.

It was just my way for carying for him and this was the only thing I could do.

The same evening, he brought me over to the Todoroki's which welcomes me with open hands. Me and their son Shoto were best friends at this point. He was pretty chill and I loved his theories eventho the most of them are soo ridiculous.

Me: Sho-chan!

Shoto: Izu!

Me: How's it going with your theories lately.

Shoto: Don't ask. I was wrong the last 20 times.

Me: Pfff this many?

Shoto: Yeah. Why are you here?

Me: My brother has to go on a mission and he told me to stay here till he comes back.

Shoto: Ohh....

Me: I really wish he would stay.

Dabi: Izuku, nice to see you again.

Me: Oh hi, Dabs!

Dabi: Where is that damn pigeon?

Me: He just dropped me off and went to a mission. 

Dabi: A mission?

Me: Yeah....

Dabi: Why do you look this down! Everything will be fine. He may be a chicken but he is a damn strong spicy fried chicken. If someone decides to take a bite they will regret it.

Me: Pffff haahahahahaha

Shoto: You really are embarrasing me brother.

Dabi: Ohh what did you say Shoto?

Shoto: Still isn't it a bit weird?

Dabi: Shut up.

Shoto: But-

Me: Hm?

Shoto: I was thinking about Hawks dropping you at our door.

Me: Well I told you, I'll stay with you guys for some weeks.

Shoto: WEEKS! Well there is something sus here.

Enji: SHOTO!

Shoto: What's up dad?

Me and Shoto were talking to a point where Dabi came over to us. All the while Hawks was talking breafly to Endeavor and then just left. He also gave me one of his feathers so I could be somewhat assured that he was with me all the time no matter where he was. Still it didn't stop me from thinking about the worst.

Enji: Be nice and shut up for once. Izuku, welcome. The guest room you stayed in last time was prepared for you again.

Me: Thank you and sorry I just vanished on you.

Enji: It's okay kid. I would have done the same thing. You didn't know us back then.

Me: Thanks for helping me out tho.

Enji: You're welcome and you're a part of this family too.

Shoto: Since when are we blood related.

Dabi: He meant because Hawks is like family to us! He saved our two asses way too often.

Shoto: Ohhhh!!!!

Me: Pffff

Dabi: Enyways, let's grab something to eat and watch a horror movie. Who's in?

Enji: Why a horror movie.

Dabi: Case I can.

Enji: *Sigh* let's go with something else.

I could hear the two starting to fight with each other while we walked to the dinning room. The whole family was there and we all ate and decided to watch some action movies before going to sleep. I could tell that they tried to make me not think about my brother but it was useless since I was worried about him. Something about this mission didn't seem right to me and I had a bad feeling about it too.
