Hawks POV:

I don't really know what happened. Me and Endeavor were actually chasing a villain and next thing I know, I got hit by something and I was already in a pretty badly shape so this was definitelly not something good. HECK NO! I couldn't stay up in the air and crashed. Don't know what happened after that but all I know is that warm feeling and then I felt soo refreshed.

What just happened?

I am pretty sure I was hurt a lot....

Why do I feel soo refreshed?

Did someone heal me?

But who?

It's literally 1 a.m.!

A vigilante?

No!

I don't know any vigilante who has a healing quirk!

Thats way too rare for a person to have and there is no vigilante that has it.

Then a civilian but they would have stayed wouldn't they?

Once I opened my eyes, I saw someone fly away and this white-pinkish feather was slowly rocking back and forth as it was falling down to the ground.

A feather?

So a angel came down from heaven and healed me?

Aww it's soo soft and cute!

And wow!

It feels soo warm!

I just grabbed the feather without much thought and looked at the direction where the person was flying away but there wasn't anything there anymore.

Did I see wrong?

NONONO!

I am pretty sure there was a person there with wings?!

WINGS?!

There is another person with wings?

I have to know them!

I am curious about them!

But where did they go?

Looking around, I couldn't see anyone there but this white and very light pink feather was actially feeling warm to the touch and it had to come from somewhere. It couldn't have just teleported here or just appeared here. There was no way that this was just appearing from thin air.

They can't be far away yet!

I should be able to find them.

Now that my wounds are healed.... ther shouldn't be a problem flying after them.

I am sure Endeavor has the villain under controll!

And if not.. welp his problem not mine!

The villain escaped him to begin with!

So I decided to go and have a look around since I was the fastest hero and I would very much like to thank them. However for that I would first need to find the person and so I started flying towards the direction I thought and saw this feather slowly come down.

It was the direction towards the next hospital which was also known as to be able to perform miracles. However little people know that this hospital was own by the hero commission and is actually mostly for heroes to use. They don't take everyone in especially if you can't pay up.

As I was flying there I saw a boy with white and pink wings. The feather definitelly looked as if it belonged to him but that wasn't what got my attention. It was the way how his wings were around his shoulders as if he wanted to protect himself.

OHH look who we have here!

I found you little angel!

What's going on here!

Woman: How did you even get out?

Kid: Through the door like a normal peson.

Woman: Oh really now?

Kid: Yup.

Woman: I am sure we cuffed you to the bed honey.

WAIT WHAT!

NO WAY!

WHAT DID I JUST HEAR?!

Kid: .....

Woman: We also locked the door so you can get plenty of rest!

That is a prison like- no torture like environment!

How dare you do that to a child!

I am taking him with me!

I can't let this feathers be with you anymore.

I watched the kid back away and decided to land behind him. The amount of red flags that were popping up in my mind after hearing this was insane. How could someone cuff a kid to a bed and then lock them up? That was insane!

Woman: Now try again. How did you get out.

Kid: Ahm...

He better got out of wherever he was!

Like chained and caged?

You did that to a human child with a bird quirk?!

You crazy?!

I've had enough!

I heard enough!

The more he backed away the closer I got until he hit against me and I saw how him jumping back. I definitelly scared him which kinda made me feel sad and also guilty. However I also had my hand on his shoulder to reause him that nothing could hurt him. Not with me around anyways.

Me: Any problem here Ma'am?

Woman: No. My son here just ran out of the house, right?

SON?!

You did that to your son?!

This is child abuse!

Kid: ... Yeah.... I am sorry to bother you.

Woman: Izuku, come here honey. Let's go back home.

The moment the woman said home, I felt him shaking a lot more. Something definitelly was wrong and if he was really the one who just healed me then I would for sure not let the kid go with that person.

Me: I don't think so Ma'am. This kid, will come with me.

Woman: And for what reasons?

Me: I am pro hero Hawks and I am taking him with me due to child abuse from you.

Woman: Child abuse?! When did I ever abuse my son.

Kid (whispering): Adoptive....

.... adoptive....

So this is not your real mother?

That's not important right now!

I have to get him away from the woman no matter what!

This is just crazy!

Who knows what will happen if I let him go now.

I have a bad feeling.

Me: If not then explain his reaction.

Woman: He's just cold, right?

Izuku: Ye-yeah.

The kid was still shaking a bit but what was more was the way his wings were starting to cover him more protectivly.

Me: I don't think so.

Woman: Do you have any proof then?

Me: .... No.

Woman: Then I am taking my son home!

I knew I couldn't just grab the kid and run or fly away cause I didn't had that kind of power if there was no real evidence for abuse. It was obvious by just looking at the kid but that wasn't enough. He didn't looked injured but if his quirk was a healing quirk that means that no wounds would stay on him for long which made everything a lot more problematic.

Me: Okay kid, here this is my card. Call me if anything ever happenes.

Woman: I assure you nothing will ever happen.

Me: Did I talk to you? I am tlaking to him.

I gave it to the kid and also attached one of my feathers on him. It was a small exchange since I had one of his feathers with me. I then leaned closer to him so that only he could hear me.

Me (whispering): If anything happens to you, I'll find out and get you out of there. Just hold on and stay strong.

After that his mother took his hand and pulled him away from me.

Woman: I am thankfull for such a hero like you to have noticed us but everything is fine so have a nice rest of the night.

Me: Likewise.

I watched them leave before I took off and started following them from a save distance. It was definitelly considered as stalking but I had to know where to find him just in case something would happen and I had this bad bad feeling that something will happen to him and my gut feeling was never wrong.

After that my own earbud went off and I had a screaming Endeavor on the call.

Endeavor: Where the hell are you chicken?

Me: On my way to your agency. The villain escaped me.

Endeavor: I got him but we need you to help us out. That damn Rabbit is annoying to handle alone.

Me: Yeah, yeah, I coming. Just hold Miruko down for a bit and thats all.
