XiaoJiu

Breathing, what is that? Who needs oxygen when the heart has stopped beating.
Living? Who wants to be alive when they have been murdered and their life ripped away from them，
Loving? How do I love when there is no one for me to love.
Everything is black and white, it's very colourless and nothing made sense. "XiaoBai." I heard my lovers sweet deep voice. "Dijiun, did you miss me?" I asked he smiled at me. " I always miss you XiaoBai." I felt tears prick my eyes. "Why did you leave me? Dijiun why did you abandon me?" He caressed my face gently. "I could never leave you, you're the love of my life XiaoBai." Then he slowly kissed me and I opened my eyes.

My dreams were better than reality but even my reality is starting to feel better, the air feels warmer these days and even the Purple Sea is warmer. "Fengjiu you're awake." Yuka said as he smiled at me. "I want to go to heaven." He nodded his head. " You can go, but you need to come back here." I nodded my head. "I know." I whispered softly and he left me alone.

Yuka

She's in darkness but she is trying her hardest to keep herself in the light, although you can see it and feel that something is missing in her life, she's putting herself together but I am afraid she will slip. I agreed to her going to heaven but that didn't mean I wouldn't follow her there.

She was humming a sweet broken tune as she travelled through the clouds, when she arrived in heaven she hesitated a bit but she went to Dong Hua's palace. She looked around and she laid on the bed quietly. "Even though you're not here, your smell still lingers here I feel like I'm hugged by you." She whispered as tears fell down her face. "I love you so much Dong Hua, I love you so much that it's killing me being without you, you didn't give me a chance to say goodbye to you was I not even worthy of that? I have half of your heart with me but I need to see your face, hug you and kiss you." She sat up. "Dong Hua do you know what love is, love is you and you took yourself away from me, you are in every breath that I take, you are in every thought that I have. You said that I chose you but I believe that you chose me, it doesn't matter how much pain I went through because this what I feel right now doesn't compare to anything I have ever faced." She letting out her tears without restraint now. "My love, my sweet love tell me that I will see you again, tell me that the loss I feel right now will be mended later." A very dark expression flashed in her eyes as if she just remembered something and she immediately took and went to the demon lands.

When she arrived there she looked around and she took a deep breath. "Well... Well look who's here." Wang Shu said sarcastically she couldn't get close to where Fengjiu was because of the ward. "Are you here to gloat? Do you think I have given up?" She asked and Fengjiu laughed. "What's so funny?" She asked again getting annoyed. "What makes you think you will win? Don't you know who I am? Haha Wang Shu do you think I would let you harm my relationship with Dong Hua? Do you honestly believe that I would let you destroy my marriage, Wang Shu I'm not some fragile little fox you think you can mess with you." Something dark was brewing in her eyes as she chocked Wang Shu with her magic. " See I don't play fair when it comes to Dong Hua nor do I tolerate any trouble, get it in your head Dong Hua is mine." She laughed. "Besides I have half of my husband's essence what could you possibly do to me, it's a pity that he tried to help you but you fell in love with him. His protection and power made you fall in love with him, Wang Shu you think that I am scared of you? Even if you had your powers, you are still no match against me. What's the use of choking you right now, I want you to feel pain, you and Kai I will be the kind of demon you can't escape from, I will open for you; your own personal hell where you feel the burn and be burnt in fire but cannot escape." She let go of Wang Shu and she was coughing. "If I were you I would stay on alert." She pinned Wang Shu with cold stare. "The might queen of the mermaid clan, how pitiful you are. Teaming up with evil to get an angel, what did you think would happen." She looked back at the ward and she raised her hand and touched it, Dong Hua's energy hugged Fengjiu as the spirit in the ward covered Fengjiu like a blanket. Wang Shu's eyes widened as she realised that what Fengjiu had told her,that she has half of Dong Hua's essence. "How is that possible?" She questioned but Fengjiu was lost in her own world. "I miss you." She whispered softly and Dong Hua's spirit blazed a dark purple colour, it was like she was wearing the galaxy, then it returned back to its normal colour.

Fengjiu turned to look at Wang Shu. "Why won't you back to your clan?" She smiled. "Right you won't be able to explain to your father how you lost your essence, powers and cultivation." Anger seeped through Wang Shu's eyes and she tried attacking Fengjiu but she drew her sword and pointed it against Wang Shu's throat. "Don't even think about it." She warned. "Wang Shu I won't hesitate to kill you, I have nothing to lose." She moved away from Wang Shu and started playing with her sword. "The attention that Dong Hua had given you, should make you happy for the next lifetimes, provided you're still alive." Then she took off  and returned to heaven.

XiaoJiu

As empty as I feel my heart won't let me wallow into the darkness of the pain that I'm feeling, it won't let me frown in the sorrow that's in my life because I worry that you might be looking down at me and frowning, you should be happy up there even though I'm not. You died for me, you gave up your life for me oh Dijiun how wrong was I to think that you don't love me, I am not going to let you go ever but I am not going to pretend to be happy when I'm not. Home isn't home without you, your spirit gives me solace but nothing like your physical flesh can close this whole inside of me, your eyes can heal my broken spirit, your hands can mend my sight and your heart can mend my soul and the rest of you can mend my soul.

There's no direction I don't know whether to go right or left everything seems circular with no direction, I am lost in the wilderness of my thoughts and of my pain, I can't get out everything is too silent. "XiaoBai." I heard the deepest soft voice, I looked around the palace but there was no sight of him." Dijiun." I whispered and suddenly I felt a warm sensation around my body. "Don't be so sad, I am coming back for you." He whispered again. "Dijiun don't play with me like that." I felt another warm sensation against my feather phoenix flower. "XiaoBai my spirit is still here, my soul is hurt." Tears pricked my eyes. "Do you promise to come back" I felt another warm sensation on my cheek. "I promise XiaoBai, but I have to go now." The warmth disappeared and I was left feeling cold again.

I was ready to go back to the Purple Sea but the sky was darkening and it looked liked there was going to be a thunderstorm, the air was cold and the sun had totally disappeared from the sky. "Fengjiu." I heard my father's urgent voice. "Father why are you here?"  He looked at me then at the darkening sky. "Fengjiu you're going to ascend." He said urgently. "Oh that's why the sky is darkening." He looked at me horrified. "Aren't you scared?" He asked. "Scared of what? The pain? Father I am made of pain, what could possibly hurt than this." The clouds had gathered enough at the sky and the first lightening strike hit me, it hurt but not enough to knock me breathless. I started feeling the warmth again and the second strike came but I didn't feel anything because of the warmth I was feeling, when all ten strikes were done I feel into a deep slumber.

Bai Yi

I was worried about XiaoJiu, she was sad that was more visible than anything but what scared me the most was her not acting on the sadness she was feeling. Today she is going to ascend but I know she's not ready because she hadn't been cultivating, I had gone to the Purple Sea but there wasn't anybody there and the only place I could look for her was heaven and the clouds were already gathering. When I arrived in heaven it looked like she didn't know she was ascending and when I told her it was like she didn't care either, XiaoJiu is more afraid of pain than anything but she didn't even fret or try hide behind me instead she just stood there, when the first strike came I thought that she would scream but not a single sound left her mouth. I felt a swift wind pass me by and heaven suddenly felt warm and XiaoJiu seemed to have relaxed when the trail was over I took her back to the Purple Sea, Yuka was there this time. "Third Prince." I said in greeting and he bowed. "Everything okay?" He asked while eyeing Xioajiu. "She just ascended." He nodded his head. "Let her rest." He said quietly, I went and I placed her down. "Look at how grown up you have become." I kissed her forehead and just watched over her.
