XiaoBai

I have passed the quarter of the rain and I can finally see half of the rainbow, now we're playing the game fate and destiny in order to pass the rain fully and get the whole rain.
Fate and destiny will play us in its game but I promise that we will win this battle, if we meet in every lifetime then I will always make sure that you are mine.

I was making pork rib lotus soup for Dijiun in the kitchen and he was sitting in the far corner watching me quietly, he hasn't spoken a word since I started cooking. "Why are you so quiet?" I asked as I turned to look at him. "I'm breathing you in." The expression on his face made turn away from him, he started humming a song that. "XiaoBai come here." When I turned his arms were open and I ran to him and sat on top of him and he put his arms around and he just held me. "You need to visit Qingqiu." My blissful bubble popped the moment he mentioned Qingqiu. "Your parents must miss you terribly." He kissed the top of my head. "I want to stay with you." I whined and he gave me a throaty laugh. "Liar! You're just afraid that Bai Yi will give you hiding." I looked up at him. "If you know then why are you making me go." He rubbed the length of my nose with his index finger. "XiaoBai he won't do anything to you, I went to Qingqiu when you were still in the forbidden realm and I told them that you were studying here in heaven and that I want you to be my Empress." He placed his hand on my phoenix flower. "Ahh I see...then you should go with me to Qingqiu....Wait!...You said that you want me to be your Empress!?" He laughed. "I want to marry you XiaoBai." There wasn't any playfulness in his face, the look in his eyes was the very look I have always longed to see. "Are you serious Dijiun?" I asked softly and he nodded his head. "If it will make you feel safe, I will go to Qingqiu with you but after that I have somewhere to take you." I nodded my head. "Let me finish my cooking." He reluctantly let go of me and I finished cooking for him,I served him and then we went to Qingqiu.

When we arrived in Qingqiu Wang Shu was sitting with my parents, who looked like they were ready to kill me Dijiun was behind me. "So finally you have decided to come home!! Fengjiu where have you been!!!" My father yelled at me. "If it wasn't for Wang Shu I wouldn't have known, that you awakened the forbidden realm and almost become the demon queen!!! Even Dong Hua Dijiun lied and covered up for you!!" He yelled again. "Bai Yi, I don't lie." All colour drained from Wang Shu's face as my parents looked at each other confused. "Dijiun." They said in greeting as they bowed. "What are you doing here?" Mother asked.  "Wherever XiaoBai goes, I follow." He looked at Wang Shu who looked ghostly pale, my father grabbed me and took out his whip. "Bai Yi, what are you doing?" He voice was a crips of coldness. "I told you that XiaoBai was with me, why do you want to hit her?" All eyes turned to Wang Shu. "She said XiaoJiu almost became a demon because she was jealous of her and that she awakened the forbidden realm." Dijiun sat down casually, pulling me along with him. "XiaoBai jealous of Wang Shu? What could she possibly be jealous off? Wang Shu doesn't have anything that XiaoBai needs to be jealous of, XiaoBai saved Wang Shu from dark energy that almost killed her. She purified the whole place loosing half of her cultivation and absorbed all the dark energy, after a misunderstanding between her and me she was attacked by Kai's daughter because she was heavily injured she fell down to the forbidden land, she rescued Wan Xue and helped him raise an army in all of that how is she at fault?" My heart felt giddy and I wanted to laugh at Wang Shu, Dijiun was protecting me. "If anything XiaoBai would have been a demon because of me and not her, she's not that important." Father dropped his whip. "Dijiun I am sorry I didn't realise." He glared at Wang Shu. "Wang Shu in future get ahold of your feelings, because if anything happens to my Empress I will personally deal with you." Wang Shu disappeared without saying a word. "XiaoJiu." My father said softly as he pulled me from Dijiun lap. "I have missed you so much, I am sorry for believing her but you know you're a troublemaker." He said in a loving tone. "I am trying to be good." He laughed as he looked at Dijiun. "Dijiun are you here about the marriage proposal?" He asked suddenly he seemed excited. " Not yet Bai Yi, I need to take XiaoBai somewhere first." He said in a kinder tone. "Where are you taking my daughter Dijiun?" My mother asked playfully. "The Purple Sea." Both of my parents gasped and I just gawked at him. "There have been too many distractions and I want to spend time with her, but importantly I want to remove the remaining dark energy in her body. The energy in the Purple Sea will help with her lost cultivation, and it's a good place to nurse her health." My parents were still gawking at him. "Our little XiaoJiu is lucky to get to see such a sacred place, many goddesses will envy her." My mother said. "She's the only one deserving to see such a place." I smiled. "Dijiun can we go now!!" I said impatiently making my parents laugh. "Bai Yi, when I get back from the Purple Sea the marriage proposal will be delivered to you." My father smiled and nodded his head. " I understand." Then we left the fox den.

Dijiun always looks majestic, proper and godly but underneath the surface he is just as childish as I am. The boat ride was breathtakingly beautiful, I am glad Dijiun insisted on us taking the boat rather than using magic I love it out here it so calming. "Dijiun why did Wang Shu go to Qingqiu?" I asked and he kissed my hand. "XiaoBai you're here with me, yet you want to know about people that don't matter." He pouted and I laughed. "Dijiun did you really purify this whole place by yourself?" He smiled at me. "You know a lot about me don't you?" I nodded my head. "I have tried to do almost everything that you do, and I tried to learn as many things but Buddhist theories were my breaking point." He laughed loudly. "Should I teach you?" He asked and I nodded my head. "I need you to get better first." I smiled at him. "I'll get better for you." The fragrance of the sea was sweet and relaxing  that I felt my body instantly relax. "How long will stay here?"  I asked. "As long as you like XiaoBai." We arrived and my breath was taken away. "It's so beautiful here!" I got off the boat before it came to a stand still. "XiaoBai!! Be careful." Dijiun yelled but I was already gone.

The air here was calm but fierce at the same time, gentle as the wind. It looked like I was in a sea Island the water purple but clear, just like the flowers that were falling down and all around the palace. There was huge magical true that had Dijiun's favourite flower, next to the tree there was a glass palace it was big as the one in heaven but it was more you beautiful, the purple flowers were hugging onto the structure of the palace like ivy behind the palace was a Jade pool and next to it was something that looked like a fox cave, the rest of the land was just covered in different flowers. "I have never seen such beauty, this is breathtaking." Dijiun was just standing behind me, looking at me. "This is my home, my home is so beautiful!" He blinked at me. "This is our future house, although I don't think that a glass palace would be convenient for our fox cubs! We will have such a wonderful home." There was an emotion in his eyes that I couldn't quite pinpoint. "Home?" He  questioned. "Yes, home is wherever you are and this place has a piece of you so it is home." He grabbed me towards him and he kissed me gently and softly. "I love you." He kissed my forehead softly. "You need to rest XiaoBai, I think you have had enough excitement for one day." I pouted. "I want to play." He kissed me again. "You'll play tomorrow, I need you to rest." I nodded my head and he took me inside the palace, I suddenly felt dizzy and I grabbed ahold of Dijiun's robe. "Dijiun." I whispered before blacking out.

Dijiun

I caught her before she could fall down, and I smiled at her. "XiaoBai how can your own magic arts make you fall asleep?" I kissed her forehead softly. "I need you to sleep, so I can completely remove the dark energy. I won't let any harm come to you ever again, XiaoBai today you called the place where I come from a "Home" do you know how much that means to me, you truly are the best and I am lucky that you chose me in this life XiaoBai I will follow you where you may go, I will always be by your side." I had made a ring in the form of her phoenix flower, with half of my heart and covered it with a white jade. "This way I can always protect you, XiaoBai I am falling deeply in love with you." I slipped the ring on her finger and I gently laid her on the bed, I started removing the dark energy from her and once it was gone I was satisfied, her phoenix flower turned red and solidified not wanting to wake her, I sat down on the floor and played the zither for her. "XiaoBai, I want a forever, can you give me that?" I closed my eyes as I felt the peace in her soul.
