Dong Hua

I opened my eyes as my heart tugged painfully and the tears were free flowing on my face, Wang Shu was staring at me even though I wasn't focused on her I could her eyes boring into my face. "What are you still doing here?" I looked at her face and she looked away. "I don't want to leave." She whispered. "Suddenly you don't want to leave, is it because you have feelings for me now." She looked at me. "I always had feelings for you, I am here because I wanted to be with you, that marriage between you and I stands." She stood in front of me. "I never married you, we never had ceremony so it doesn't count it was a marriage by name." She grabbed my robe. "I have been doing wife duties for you, so you can't tell me that our marriage doesn't count." She said in a firm voice. "Wife duties? Did I ask you too? I don't love you, I love XiaoBai and nothing is going to change that when I get back, you should be gone I have things I need to do." I left heaven and I went Qingqiu I needed to find away to for XiaoBai's parents not to know about this.

When I arrived in Qingqiu her parents were arguing, I have heard of the nasty temper her mother has and I guess that's where she get her temper from. "Fengjiu will not become the Queen of Qingqiu if she keeps behaving this way! Our clan will get in trouble because of her! When she comes back I will beat her to death." Bai Yi said in an angry voice. " You can't beat the Empress of heaven like that." I said as I entered through the fox cave. "Dong Hua Dijiun." Both of them said in greeting. "What brings you here?" Bai Yi. "XiaoBai is in heaven with me, that's why she has returned home." Both of their eyes almost popped out. " XiaoBai has been studying in heaven, she is a very mischievous little fox so she has been studying diligently in heaven and when she's ready I will bring her back." Bai Yi looked at me. "I have been worried that she was off somewhere causing trouble, but I feel relieved knowing that she is with you." He bowed his head. "Bai Yi I also have a marriage proposal for you, for XiaoBai but there are few things I need to prepare before we could discuss this matter." He nodded his head. "I will await for your instructions." Bai Lei was looking at me. "Dijiun you have met many Goddesses and I heard that you were to marry Queen Wang Shu, but suddenly you want to marry XiaoJiu, is she going to be your side Consort?" Her question made me smile. "Bai Lei you should get the facts first before you say things you heard in rumours，I was never going to marry Wang Shu it was just a stage for an enemy clan and her father asked me to help to keep her safe and the only way she could enter heaven was if we get married but ever since I met XiaoBai I don't want anybody but her, to answer your question XiaoBai is not suited to be a side consort and she would never agree to be one either, she is going to be my Empress." She gawked at me. "I have somewhere I need to be." I said as I walked out and went to the forbidden realm, XiaoBai was wearing a black armour outfit and she looked angry but beautiful at the same time. "Dijiun." She said in a soft and musical voice. "XiaoBai." I got down on my knees she still her back towards me. "XiaoBai I am an idiot, I know that I have hurt you a lot and have caused you so much pain. XiaoBai I haven't been able to sleep and you haven't left my thoughts, all my nightmares that I fear the most are becoming a reality and XiaoBai I don't want to lose you not this way, you have done so much for me gave me your heart and your soul and I didn't protect it and cherish it like I should have, fate claims that we are not meant to be but XiaoBai you were the one I have been waiting for." She turned around slowly and there were tears in her eyes, when she saw me kneeling she gasped. "Dijiun get up." She tried to make me stand but I refused to stand, I took both her hand and kissed them gently. "XiaoBai I love you, I know that I messed up a lot but I love you and I want to be with you, there are things that have been misunderstandings between us and I want to clear up those." She got down on her knees and she held my face. "Dijiun what did you say?" She asked softly. "I said I love you XiaoBai and I only love you and nobody else." She leaned in closer to me. "Dijiun I want to kiss you." She whispered softly. "Why are you asking for permission now." She frowned. "XiaoBai you have kissed me before, you're the only one who's ever kissed me." Her face flushed and the blackness of her eyes vanished as the warm light brown colour settled in her eyes, she closed her eyes and she leaned in closer to me and softly placed her lips against mine but before I could kiss her back she pulled back and threw up blood. "XiaoBai the air here is not good for you, come back with me." She nodded her slowly and I picked her up slowly. "Leave a message for Wan Xue, tell him to keep the forbidden lands I am not coming back." I did as she instructed and  we left for heaven.

XiaoBai's Feather phoenix flower was almost nonexistent which means the dark energy was now halfway through her heart, I laid her down in my bed and she opened her eyes. "I was going to attack your palace." She looked so serious but her tails stuck out and swayed, so instead of serious she looked cute. " I would have let you do whatever you wanted XiaoBai."  She snorted. "I know you wouldn't be able to do anything to me." Her tails were still swaying. "You look adorable you know that." She huffed but then she started coughing. "Sit it in a lotus position XiaoBai." She complied and I sat behind as I began removing the dark energy and after a while I stopped. "It's not completely gone but it's no longer dangerous, take a rest and we will continue later." She turned to face me and her Phoenix flower was back，although it was flickering it was better than not seeing it all. "You owe me a kiss." She gasped. "No I don't! You owe me a kiss, I kissed you but you didn't kiss me back." She complained, I leaned in towards and kissed her softly, her lips were soft and they tasted bloody. She was running out of breath but I wouldn't let her pull away when I was satisfied I pulled away. "Dijiun." She whispered breathlessly and her face flushed a bright pink. "I have dreamt about kissing." She admitted. "I know XiaoBai." She frowned. "Your easy to read XiaoBai and I understand everything single thought you have." Her heart rate was spiking and she closed her eyes. "What is it? Do you feel uncomfortable?" She shook her head. "This feels like a dream." I took her hand and placed it against my heart. "This is yours, this is your heart and will only ever beat for you." I caressed her face. "I want to take you somewhere for a few days, I want to keep you away from things that could possibly distract you." Her eyes lit up like the stars in the dark skies. "Come with me, there is something else I need to show you." She blinked innocently at me and she grabbed my hand.

I will do whatever it takes to fix everything that I have broke and I will make her see that I love her, I took her to the secret sea place where all immortals are laid to rest. "Dijiun why are we here?" She asked curiously, I took her further down towards a ice garden. "I collected Yang Yang's spirit and I placed it here, I know that you never got to say goodbye to him because of me, so I made this place so you can talk to him whenever you want, his spirit will disappear to the realm of nothingness in twelve days but you can always come here whenever you miss him." There was tears in her eyes and a painful expression on her face. "Come find me at the palace when you're done." I kissed her hand and left quietly.

XiaoJiu

My spirit feels lighter and my heart has blood in it after so long, although he might not know it I missed him terribly. I loved the forbidden realm but I didn't belong there not without him but as long as he didn't want me, I wasn't going to come back when he said he loved me I forgot everything horrible that happened because there wasn't anything I wanted from him but his love.

Now I am sitting here in front of Yang Yang's spirit and I am finally in complete peace. "Yang Yang I am sorry I was there for you when you were sick, I am sorry that my obsession kept us apart at your end and I'm sorry you never got to love anyone else because you loved me, your spirit is here and I can feel all the pain you went through and even though I know that there was nothing I could do to ease it but I still wish I could have been there, I will come visit you for the next twelve days until your spirit leaves this place. Know that I will never forget you and I will carry you with me wherever I go because you are now my immortal angel, I will try not to miss you too much but rest easy my angel visit me when you have time." I sat there for a little while longer and when I was satisfied I went on my way to the palace, I heard a loud bang almost like an explosion I ran as fast as my legs could carry me. "Dijiun!!" I yelled once inside but there was no reply. "Dijiun." I yelled again as I searched around the palace not finding him I went out only to bump into the third prince. "Slow down little princess." He saw the panic in my face. "Where's Dijiun?" I asked frantically. "Kitchen." Before he could say anything else I took off running, when I arrived in the kitchen he layed on the floor covered in smoke. "Dijiun! Dijiun!" I shook him. "Please wake up! What happened?" I shook him some more, suddenly a smile broke out on his face. "Why are so worried?" He asked softly. "I heard a loud bang and I thought something happened to you." He frowned. "Will you always come rescue me, if I'm in trouble?" He asked softly. "Always." I whispered. "Dijiun why are you covered in smoke?" He looked around the kitchen. "I was trying to cook for you." He said honestly and I laughed. "What were you trying to cook? The kitchen?" He laughed and I stopped breathing. "I'll cook for you instead." I said softly when I was about to get up, he pulled me closer to his chest. "Never leave me XiaoBai." He whispered softly and be kissed the top of my head.
