I sometimes wondered how doctors could look at you and your family and tell you that your loved one died. It must be hard, because any person should have a hard time saying that.

We stood in the hospital listening to doctor tell us what we already knew. Our grandmother was dead, the lady who was more of a mother figure to me and Minki more than our own mothers combined.

Minki held my hand tightly as we were both crying silently as Dad wrapped his arms around our shoulders. Once the doctor left Dad had to sign off on papers.

"Hi." Minki said sitting down next to me on one of the many uncomfortable chairs in the waiting room. I had to excuse myself because I couldn't being in the surgery room.

"Are you hungry? Dad said there is a convenience store not to far from here. He said its gonna be some time before he leaves and he doesn't know if we ate at Joshua's." Minki suggested.

I just shook my head as I leaned onto Minki's shoulder. All I wanted right now was to go home and pretend none of this ever happened, that my grandmother didn't die and that I could call her on my phone and she would pick up the call.

And everything would be okay.

It was finally around midnight we returned home and I had absolutely no to trudge my legs upstairs so I just crashed down on the couch.

"Scoot over." Minki mumbles as he drops down next to me as he rest his head against mine as I wrap my arms around him.

"You won't leave me right?" I whisper as Minki shakes head. "Never. I'm always here for you Cheol." Minki whispered back as I sigh.

"Thank you." I say with a yawn as we drift off to sleep.

(Yesterday was Friday so now its Saturday)

Me and Minki slept in till around 2pm and the only reason we woke up was when we woke up to the smell of hashbrowns. Yes hashbrowns for lunch.

I fished my phone out of my jacket pocket that I left on the ground to see some texts and a missed call from Jeonghan. So I decided to call him back.

"Hey baby, I didn't know if you were sleeping or not so I decided to just let you call me back when you had time. Anyways my parents are out for dinner tonight." Jeonghan explained.

"And Hoseok is meeting his boyfriend who he is in a long distance relationship with, and he's coming up from Gwangju. And since he is inviting a few of his other friends I was wondering if you wanted to be my dinner date tonight?" Jeonghan asked.

"I would love to be your dinner date." I say as I hear Jeonghan cheer from the other line. "Perfect I'll text you when I'm on my way."
