Hoʻokahi haneli kaʻumikūmāiwa

Me and Jeonghan's vacation ended by the start August as we returned home to Singapore. "Are your arms feeling better?" Jeonghan asked me as he rubbed my shoulder.

"Yeah they feel much better." I smile as I look over my wrists. Before driving home, we made one quick stop at a tattoo shop.

I wanted to do something about my scars, so I asked the artist if he could design something. So now I have bracelet leaves trailing up both of my arms to my shoulder.

"They look really pretty." Jeonghan said as he ghosted his finger over my left wrist. "You excited to be home?" He asked and I nodded.

"Traveling has been fun, especially with you. But it's good to be home." I say as the uber pulls up into Jeonghan's driveway.

"I'll see you tomorrow." Jeonghan smiled, he planned on spending the remainder of the day with his family before we reunite with our friends.

I returned home to be nearly knocked right on my ass by Minki. "Damn okay, nice to see you too." I groan as I hug the younger back tightly.

"Took yo- Holy you got tattoos?!" Minki gasps as he rolls off of me and grabs my arm like he was reviewing an alien.

"Yeah, how do you like them?" I ask and he shoots me a thumbs up. "Love em! Now come on! Dad is waiting inside, he and Marinette made pizza." Minki said

"Welcome back Son!" Dad said hugging me tightly, Marinette pushing him away so she can hug me.

Marinette has been with us for quite some time now, surely neither me or Minki call her Mom. But we both treat her like she is our mom.

And she treats us like her sons.

"Its about time you returned home, I was worried you would be lost at sea!" Marinette said hugging me again, trying not to get anymore flour on me from the dough.

"Also before I forget, I got you an early birthday present. I don't think I would be able to wait 1 more week for your acutal birthday." She said pointing to the bag on the counter.

"You didn't have to Marinette." I pouted as I grab the bag and pull out the wrapping paper. My eyes widen at the gift sitting inside.

"Now you don't have to film on your phone." Marinette said as I hold the video camera in my hands. "I do hope you like it." She said.

"I love it! Thank you so much!" I say hugging her tightly. Since I was planning on going to college for Film and Movie magic, a camera is just what I needed.
