You walked down Nemonas house steps to find your Mom talking with her. "Oh Y/n!" she calls your name once you reach the bottom. "I hear that Nemona is going to be taking you to school?"

"Yeah, she is." You say in response.

"That's right ma'am. Leave it to me!" Nemona says at the same time as you causing both of you to look at each other before bursting out into laughter.

Your mom softly smiles in nostalgia as a scene plays in her head of you two but younger. "It seems like you to have never changed." She murmurs.

After a minute of laughter you both calm down and stand up straight again. Your mom continues on the conversation by telling you about all the teachers she has read about in the school and how your new school is going to be fantastic.

"You'll be staying in the dorms, so make sure to eat properly." Your mother adds, "Also, I took the liberty of making you lunch for your first day."

"YES!" You say excitedly. Your moms sandwiches are the best food to ever be made by her and you're extremely happy. She hands you the sandwich which is wrapped in sandwich wrapping paper (Or whatever it's called).

"Oh! and you better take these, too." She says as she hands you potions for your Pokémon. "Use them on your precious little partner of yours should it get hurt in battle."

" I will, even though I know Grasidi won't." You proudly boast.

"Now don't get too cocky." Your mom giggles as you chuckle a little before giving her a hug and heading off.

"I forgot how nice your mom is, Y/n!" Nemona said reminiscently before remembering something. "Oh! But I was going to teach you how to catch wild Pokémon! C'mon vamos!" She grabs your arm and starts to drag you

"WAIT I ALREADY KNOW HOW."

Y/n was currently glaring at Nemona who was chuckling sheepishly. Sighing, Y/n calls himself down and rubbed your arm.  Nemona had dragged you all the way from her house to the nearby wild area brimming with Pokémon. Poco Path.

"Sorry, Y/n" You hear Nemona say.

"No, it's fine. Just don't do it again." You accept her apology while accentuating the warning at the end.

"Ok! Anyway let's have a race to see who can catch the most Pokémon!" She challenges you. You look around at the area not seeing any Pokémon you want. And as cute as Lechonk is it's evolution is not what strong, or at least that's what you read in a magazine on the plane called "The 10 Best, Mid, and Worst Pokémon of Paldea."

Now that you think about it the person who made that list was spitting absolute facts.

"Oh! I almost forgot. Have a couple of Poke Balls." She said as she grabs some out of her bag and hand them to you.

"Thank you." You reply as you put them in your bag (that your pretty sure is enchanted with infinite storage or something).

"It's nothing, I have a ton anyway!" Nemona says as she runs off to go catch Pokémon. A wild Lechonk walks up to you and Nemona, oinking. "Hey. Why don't you show me your catching skills." She comments as you sigh and take the challenge.

Sending out Grasidi, you tell her to use Leafage, which does some damage. Lechonk tries to attack back with tackle but you were ready for it. Grasidi dodged in time from you shout and used Leafage once more, accidentally fainting it.

"Oops." Is all you said to a pouting Nemona.

"Whatever, but good job anyway." She says still semi-mad at you. "Anyway, here's ten more Poke Balls so you can build whatever team you're trying to."

"I'm going on ahead." You replied ready to leave.

"Alright, but let's meet up at the lighthouse, how we used too." Nemona says giving you a nostalgic flashback of when you and her met this one kid who lived there with a Mabostiff.

Heading off you see a Poke Ball on your right. You grab it and inside was a potion. You then get a greedy look as you see another. And another. And another....

Timeskip by author grabbing every single Pokeball on this area and also seeing a fletchling that he wanted but was stuck in a tree :(

You were grabbing every possible item you could on this route when a wild Fletchling ran into you, initiating a battle. Instead of fighting it you immediately throw a Poke ball because Grasidi was still low from battling wild Lechonks. The ball shook once. Then twice. And finally for a third time and signaling that you caught it.

Your Rotom Phone alerts you of a new Pokédex entry as you start to read it. "Fletching, the Tiny Robin Pokémon. This Pokémon is normally calm, however, when it enters battle, it's hormonal balance changes and it becomes aggressive."

"Now what to name you." You mumble as you send him out of his ball. You thought on this as he battled against a Tarountula nearby. After kil- sorry, fainting it, you finally come up with a nickname. "Yes, you'll be named Helios."

From then on you, Helios, and Grasidi went on to "faint" every Pokémon in the area. It took you like 20 minutes to do so but in the end you got your Pokémon to level 8.

You finally stop screwing around and get near the lighthouse when Nemona stops you. "Hey Y/n! You getting the hang of everything again?"

"Yeah. It's nice to start over again." You say before your both interrupted by a insanely loud cry. As an experienced trainer you can definitely tell that the Pokémon that let out that cry was extremely powerful. Nemona could tell too but was in shock of the loud cry.

"Whoa! What was that?" She said before you both heard the same cry but weaker and quieter. "I've never heard that cry before! Could it be a some strong Pokémon or something?" She exclaims and questions.

"I say we find whatever made that cry" You both say at the same time. Looking at each other, you guys smile before starting to look with Nemona reminding you of the cave that's dangerous.

You head off as you se a broken fence and decide to head down and peak at the beach where you see a Pokémon you've never seen before sleeping with two Houndors surrounding it.

The Houndors awaken the Pokémon as it roars at the knocking you off the cliff. You start to fall
before your Rotom phone saves you. You watch as the two aggravators run off in fear, yipping all the way.

The you look at the unknown Pokémon, still sleeping, however it's most likely injured you get from observations of watching it.

Fearless and curious, you walk up to the sleeping Pokémon. Once you get near it you can hear it's own version of a groan. You crouch down too it's level before in a split second decision you decide to give it your moms homemade sandwich.

It smells the food and looks at you. Noticing the worried look on your face it takes the sandwich and eats it.

Rising to its feet, the Pokémon starts to head for the cave faced behind you. "Rude." You mumble. Before looking at the Pokemon as it surrounds itself in light and goes on its hind legs.

You follow the creature, mostly in curiosity. It looks back at you as it continues into the cave as your reach just outside of it. You continue to follow the mysterious Pokémon cave as you hear Nemona call for your name. "Oyeeeeee! Y/n!" Looking up at the top of the cave you see Nemona, worried.

"There you are! Are you OK?! You're not hurt, right?" She says as you chuckle a little at her worrying for you.

"Nah, I'm fine." You shout back.

"Thank goodness. I was really worried!" She says relieved, "If you'd gotten hurt because of me...." She trails off, obviously sad thinking about that.

Shaking her head, she tells you to find a way to climb the rocks and she'll have one of her Pokémon pull you out.

Finally noticing the Pokémon in front of you she says, "Hey, what type of Pokémon is that?" The mentioned Pokémon is looking back at you which she notices. "It seems like it's waiting for you."

You continue on with the Pokémon as you run into a boulder blocking your path as it easily destroys it. You guys continue on to another area as Nemona comments on how cool and strong this Pokémon is.

However, you were more worried as you see a Houndoom standing on a ledge side to your left, watching you and the Pokémon. You follow the Pokémon, however, you makes stops to grab items on the floor.

A little meter forward a group of Houndors run towards the Pokémon as it roars at the once more scaring them off. The mysterious Pokemon once again breaks a boulder letting you and it through another area.

"Y/n! Look out something's coming from behind you!" She yells a warning to you. You hear footsteps from behind you as you turn around and see that same Houndoom. You grab a Pokeball you snuck from your room readying it. However the mysterious Pokémon takes the lead battling it. Three Houndors surround you. The Pokémon seeing this grabs you and jumps off.

"Way to go! I almost thought you guys were goners." Nemona says as she runs up to you and hugs you. Surprised by this action you slowly rub her back. The mysterious pokémon interrupts this scene by nudging you and facing toward the lighthouse.

The Pokémon starts to leave as you and Nemona watch it before it collapses.

"Whoa! What's Wrong?!" You hear Nemona say as you walk up to it.

She continues on talking about it as you rub its scaly body in worry.

"...And now it looks so different from a minute ago. You think it's ok?" Nemona asks you. You continue to look at it's passed out form.

"Hard to say. My best guess, however, is that it used up whatever energy it had left from my energy by saving me." You say.

"I'm very thankful for it, it brought you back up here in one piece after all." She smiles at you. You blush a little by how beautiful she looks smiling.

The Pokémon gets up interrupting your staring. Turning to it, it stares off to the lighthouse.

"Hey, if you ever become this guys trainer then you gotta let me battle it!" Nemona says to you. You smile and nod at this.

"Wait, I forgot to give you this a while ago but here's my number." She says. "Y'know, incase anything like that happens again..."

You smile at her thoughtfulness. You thank her. Then she also hands you an extra TM she had. You put the TM into your bag as you catch up to Nemona who's already heading towards the lighthouse with the Pokémon following in tow.

You all arrive as you notice a guy standing next to a room near the lighthouse. The guy has blonde hair and green eyes. He wears a white and orange shirt with a orange necktie. He also has on a blue vest with a yellow emblem of the school you and Nemona are heading to.

"Why, that little...." You hear the guy mumble before walking up to the Pokémon. "What're you doing out here!" He shouts.

"Hey-" You begin to say before the guy cuts you off.

"I'm not taking you to you two. You can shove off." He say quite rudely. Offended you scoff at him, your pride won't be damaged by this edgy asshole.

"Wait, I know you...." Nemona starts to say and though on something. " Aren't you Arven? You're enrolled in the humanities track, right?"

"And aren't you the son of that Pokémon researcher- Professor Sada?" She finishes.

"It doesn't matter who my mom is!" He yells.

'So he's got mommy issues too. Sounds like a skill issue.' You think maliciously.

"The real issue is what in the world is this Pokémon doing out here!" He says, before continuing, "And what is with this form it's in?!"

Nemona begins to explain how you fell off the cliff and how it saved you from a tight spot and got worn out in the process.

"Well... yeah. It should be in that form you saw. But it can't fight while it's like this." Arven says

"Wait." You start. Catching not only Nemona and Arven's attention but also the Mysterious Pokémon's attention too. "What is this Pokémon's name."

"It's name is Koraidon." Arven says.

You guys really got lucky with this long ass chapter. But enjoy.
