Amity's POV:

I was woken up by Luz who was still hugging me. "Morning sweet potato. Had a nice nap?" She asked staring at me. "Yeah, you?" I mumbled. "Alright c'mon sleepy head. You still gotta prepare breakfast since you wuss out on the movie last night," she said. "Problem is I don't know how to cook," I replied, "figured that's why I'm helping you. So let's make it before everyone else wakes up, princesa," she pulled me out of bed.We went to the bathroom to freshen up before we cook.

Pancakes
Then we started cooking. "So what we making?" I asked. "We're making pancakes and smoothies." She took out the ingredients from the fridge and cabinets. "Wait where did those come from?" I questioned, "Oh, I brought these over yesterday." I just shrugged and we started making. "Alright let's make pancakes first," I watched her mix flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl then in a separate bowl she mixed milk, 2 eggs, sugar, vanilla extract and melted butter. "Now you try," I followed what she did since we were making breakfast for everyone so we needed to make 3 stacks for each person.

While we were making more batters, Luz put some flour on my face. "Hey! How dare you," so I put some flour back at her face. After making enough, we combined the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients together. Then we pour some batter on the pan flipping it and switching it every few minutes. We made just enough pancakes for everyone and they were still sleeping.

Smoothies

She took fruits out of the fridge like, strawberries, blueberries, apples, bananas and milk. "Ok now let's make smoothies," she took a knife and cutting board and peel the skin of the banana and apples, removed the stem/leaf of the berries then, washed them. She handed me a knife, I looked at it for awhile, "How do you cut the fruit?" she just laughed and went behind me, she grabbed my both my hands with her's then she slowly moved my hand to cut the fruits. "You put on hand on the fruit and the other holds the knife. You index holds the top if the blade for support. Then, you slice it like this."

I was blushing when she did that and while we were doing that Boscha got out of the room. "*Yawning*, morning dumbasses. Oh what do we have here? Making breakfast?" Luz was still holding my hand teaching me how to cut. "Luz what are you doing?" she stopped cutting to respond, "Helping her make breakfast?" she answered. "No I meant why are you holding her hand?" she just sighed, "You dared me to act like lovers and I'm teaching her how to cook? Are you dumb?" She continued cutting the fruits when I saw Boscha just winking at me. Not gonna lie but I gotta take them for this one.

We continued cutting the fruits separately when I accidentally cut myself. "Ow!" I cried. "Wait here, I'll get a bandaid." she went to the room to find bandaids and then Boscha woke the others up by opening the curtain. "Boscha we wanna sleep what the hell?" Skara whined. "It's 8 o'clock besides they're almost done with breakfast so wake the fuck up," she yelled. They got up and folded their blankets. "So had fun last night Amity?" Hunter joked. "What do you mean?" I asked, "We heard you screaming last night," he chuckled.

"We weren't doing anything Hunter so leave her alone," Luz came out with a bandaid and took my hand to rinse the blood and cover up the wound. "Now you be careful next time," she said kissing my forehead. She continued cutting the fruits and then we poured them into the blender with the milk then blend. The others were talking in the living room while we were preparing the table. "Alright breakfast time," I called. They rushed to the table and took a seat. "This is good, you guys should make us breakfast everyday," Gus said with a mouthful.

23 minutes later

We finished up our food and washed the dishes then we planned on what we were gonna do today. "I heard that the New Year's Winter Fest is already open. So why don't we spend our day there?" Gus suggested. We had no other plans so we just agreed to Gus's idea. After planning they went back to their own dorms to get ready. We told each other to meet up the cafe when we were done since Vee was working today we decided to stop by for a visit. Even though it opens in the evening, we wanted to get rid of our boredom.

4:30 pm

I finished getting ready and I was waiting for Boscha who was still looking for something. "You go first, I'll catch up later," so I left her.

I arrived at the cafe and to my surprise Luz was already there. "Hola sweet potato, care to have a drink with me?" I smiled at her and sat down. "So your here early," I said, "Yeah it didn't take me long to prepare."

She was wearing blue jeans, white buttoned shirt and a green jacket with a red beanie and white platform Nike. "Aren't you gonna get cold?" I shook my head which made her laugh. "Are you sure? You're wearing white tights, a black shirt under your crop top. Are you sure you won't get cold? Even though you look pretty in it," She asked. I just rolled my eyes.

Soon Vee arrived. "Hey guys what brings you here?" She asked, "Well me and sweet potato here are waiting for the others here before we go to the Winter Fest," she explained. "Cool anyways, can I talk to you for a bit Amity?" I followed her outside of the cafe.

"So are you 2 dating yet?" I shook my head, "I'm trying though. I found some steps. Here," I showed her the steps. "Interesting." Then the others show up. "Hey Ams, where's Luz?" Willow waved. "She's inside," I went it to sit with Luz. I saw the others were outside chatting with Vee. They looked at us a few times. I ignored what they were doing and I continued to talk with Luz. "Do you want a drink? I can order another latte if you want," she offered. "Nah, I'm good I'll share yours," I took her drink and started drinking.

No matter how many hints I gave about having a crush on her she still didn't get any. Then the others came in. No one was in the cafe since it was a weekend morning. People usually come here near evening like around 6:00 so we stayed for a little snack.

5:23 pm

"Hey can we get something you guys would recommend for us to have before we leave?" Gus asked so Luz and Vee went to go make something. I followed Luz because I wanted to help. "No you're staying here," she said putting me on the counter. "Stay there, you've already made us breakfast so me and Vee are going to make them snacks," she said. I got off the counter and sat on a chair.

When they were done Vee sat with them and our co-workers when I was gonna join them Luz carried me and put me on the counter. She pulled a nearby chair and sat on it backwards. "What are you doing?" I giggled. "Oh nothing just wanted to talk to you," she smiled. "So what did you wanna talk about?" I asked. "I just wanna ask why you're acting... different for the pass few days," I tried to think of an answer but the only thing that came to my mind was, "just wanted to talk to my bestie y'know?" She just smiled, kissed my forehead and carried me on her back. Gahhh, I'm gonna die due to intense blushing. She just kissed my forehead.

"Hey Boscha how much longer do I have to act like I'm a couple?" She asked, "it's supposed to be a week unless you wanna back out from a dare," she chuckled. "Me back out. Hah, I never." I liked how confident Luz was. "Hey Luz, since we're acting like a couple what should I call you?" She was quiet for awhile, "Hmm...how bout batata?" I it sounded funny so I asked her what it means, "it means sweet potato but in Spanish." I just laughed, "ok batata."

We sat down with the others and talked for a bit. Around 5:47 there was people coming in the cafe. "Looks like it's time to go guys," and then Luz pulled me up and placed her arm around my shoulder and we walked out. The others followed behind us. "Hey Amity," I turned around to look at Hunter, "Amity and Luz sitting on the tree, K I S S I N G!" I wanted to kill him. "C'mon Hunter it's just a dare," Luz said. Just a dare huh? Wish it could be more. Since Plan A and Plan B didn'5 work, it's time for Plan C.

I took Luz hand and held it in mine. She just smiled at me and I smiled back. Her smile is just so pretty. This stupid gay crush of mine is gonna be the death of me.

January Winter Fest 6:07 pm

We arrived and it was packed with people. We waited in line for about 15 minutes to buy tickets.  While waiting I'm guessing because of being famous and hanging out with Luz, many people came to us for selfies. Some even tried flirting then there was this guy. "Are you Amity Blight?" his face was close to mine and I could smell cigarettes from his clothes. "Yeah, can I help you?" he just smiled and grabbed my hand and tried pulling me away and I'm glad I was still holding Luz's hand because she didn't let go. "Hey buddy why don't you back off," he said walking to Luz.

Her smile disappeared into a stern look looking at him. He tried to pull me away but Luz pushed him off. People were just staring at us. The others were just backing off. Now we were just surrounded in a circle. She pulled me behind her and he went for a tackle. She quickly grabbed me and tripped him with her foot. "Leave her alone, I don't want to fight people," she said. He got up and went for a punch but she just grabbed his arm and twisted it around his back nearly breaking it. "Now leave us alone or I won't hesitate to bring you to the station," He started cursing and Luz let him go. He walked off into the crowd and disappeared.

"You alright?" I just nodded my head. She sighed in relief. Then people came crowding us again. After what seemed like forever we finally got in. It was full of people, playing games, rides and eating. "So where should we go first?" Willow asked, "Why don't we go in pairs?" Boscha asked. "Alright, you guys know I'm going with Willow," Hunter said. "I'm going with Boscha," Skara said. "Amity you go with Luz," I saw her wink and I knew what she was trying to do. "That leaves me and I will go alone," Gus beamed, "New game, the pair with the least tickets and prizes has to tell one big secret secrets. Meet at the ferris wheel at 8:30 which is in and hour and 34 minutes," he added. "Deal."

They went their separate ways which leave me and Luz. "So where should he go first?" I asked her. "She pulled me closer and said, "Let's go to the games, we can win this," I just smiled at her and we went to the games section. First was the darts. "You wanna try first?" I shook my head. She smiled then pulled me in front of her, she grabbed my hand to pick up the dart and started to throw the darts and to my surprise we almost got all 3 bullseye. "Congrats, now what will the prize be," the man asked. Luz looked at me so I picked Steele the squishmallow. He was a Blue Gradient Striped Whale Shark with White Belly.

Next was knock down. I tried the first time but I didn't get any. Luz tried next and she manage to hit 3 towers down. "Is there something your bad at?" I joked. From this we got 15 tickets. Then, ring toss we both played it and we manage to get 34 tickets from this. The most impressive one was when Luz played High Striker. She hit it and it reached the top. This game was the most popular because if you reach the top you get 100 tickets. Most games used tickets. Bean-bag-toss we got a giraffe stuffed animal. Then Basketball- 235 points for 47 tickets. We played the same ones over and over getting more and more tickets and eventually the time has come.

We met at our rendezvous, "So let's see who lost." Hunter and Willow: 426 tickets and 2 stuffies, Boscha and Skara: 282 tickets and 1 stuffy ,Luz and Amity: 453 tickets and 4 stuffies. Looks like the winner is Luz and Amity and Boscha and Skara had lost. Boscha admitted that she and Skara once trashed the teachers car for failing her. "So what now? It's only 8:37 should we go on the rides?" Willow asked. "Hmm...how bout the ferris wheel? It's a nice night," Luz replied. "Yeah a nice night for lovers," Boscha and Gus said. "It's just a dare."

We went in the capsules when the others said, "We'll be in a different cart," I glared at them but all they did was pretend they weren't planning anything. "It a nice and cold night don't you think so?" I asked. "Yeah but not as pretty as you," I just blushed at her. The higher we went up the colder it got so I started shivering. I felt something around my shoulder and it was Luz's jacket. "Aren't you gonna get cold?" she just smirked, "Nah, your health is more important besides I can't get cold easily." I sat closer to her and leaned my head on her shoulder. It was a nice view.

8 minutes later

We got off the ferris wheel and I saw the others were in one capsule. "What now?" Skara asked, "Let's go back, it's getting cold." Hunter said. Before we left we grabbed a few snack. "So we sleeping in the same dorm again?" Gus asked sipping his drink. "If you guys want to," Skara replied. I felt exhausted after today all I wanted to do was take a bath and sleep. "Luz carry your 'child' she looks sleepy," Boscha joked. She's right I was sleepy but I didn't want her after what she's been doing all day. "Nah I'm good, thank you, woah," she picked me up bridal style. "I will take this dare seriously if I have to," the others just gushed but I felt like fainting.

We arrived back at our dorm complex around 9:12. Everyone sat down to rest before they cleaned theirselves up for bed. "Hey Luz, you said your taking this dare seriously right?" Boscha asked. "Yeah why?" I saw a grin on Boscha's face. "What do couples do?" she asked. "Everything together why?" she asked. "Well Amity is gonna go shower why don't you take one with her," what the fuck is wrong with her? It's like she has a death wish. "The fuck is wrong with you she would never," I fumed. "We're not even real-," before I finished Luz said something unexpected, "Ok, I'll do it." I just looked at her with a red face and shock.
