Luz's POV:

Continued from Chapter 12: 4 Months

After whatever drama happened this morning Amity was stuttering every time we talked but she didn't stutter when she was talking to the others. She was probably embarrassed after what happened especially since it kinda looked like we...made out...

Ahem...anyways, we went to the park I brought my skateboard with me since the park had a skatepark which is y favorite place to skate. We headed to the park it was not empty but also not too crowded some people just walking some just playing around with snow. Willow and Hunter were busy flirting with each other Gus and Vee were having a snowball fight while I was going to the skatepark. Amity insisted on following me just in case I get hurt. How thoughtful.

I was showing her some tricks on the half pipe when I accidentally fell off my skateboard. She quickly ran towards me. "Oh my god, are you ok?" she trembled grabbing me, "I'm fine I just fell," I got up and picked up my skateboard. "No sit down. I don't want you getting hurt." I quickly sat down and she pressed her fingers around my leg, "ouch," I whimpered when she pressed my right ankle. She sighed and grabbed my arm and placed it over her shoulders as we walked to where Hunter and Willow were sitting.

"What's going on?" Willow said facing me. "She fell off her skateboard when she was skating on the half pipe." I just shrugged at them. They sat me down on the bench. "Hey guys wanna help me take Vee down in this snowball fight?" Gus called. Hunter and Willow went to help Gus. "You should go have fun I don't want you to stay," she just rolled her eyes at me, "After you being clumsy no. Besides you helped me when I hurt my leg," she teased.

We just laughed at what she said and then our eyes met. I don't know if it was the snow that was making her look cute or was she always like this. "What?" she giggled. I just smiled at her, "boop," I booped he nose and ran off to where the others were, "Hey! Sit your ass back down your gonna hurt yourself again," she said running towards me. We threw snowballs at each other but Vee was unstoppable.

But our fun was ruined when we saw Amber and the guys I fought off last time except there was only the 4 of them and we also saw a girl with pink hair. "Hey Luz, how you doing? I see you have more friends," the others just looked at them, Amity glared and Vee ran behind me. "What do you want Amber?" I fumed, "Well that's not how you talk to your friends do you. Well I don't want anything I was just walking around with my friend Boscha here," she looked at the pink haired girl. "Amity" she glared, "Boscha," Amity growled. "Look we don't wanna fight right now. We were having fun," Hunter tried to stop, "Oh wow aren't you cute?" she said batting her eyes. Willow threw a snowball in her face. "Hey!" she yelled. "Stay away from him," Amber just scoffed and pushed pass us.

After she was gone from our site, we just broke out of laughter at how much she was a coward when Willow glared at her. The day was nearly ruined but I'm glad it wasn't. After out trip to the park we went to the coffee shop me and Amity went last time.

"Hey Phillp, how's it going?" I greeted him at the counter. "Hey Luz, it's going great. I see ypu brought some new friends over. What can I get you? The usual?" I just looked at at him with a smile, "How bout my you change my usual to a caramel latte and make that 2, what do you guys want?" I said looking at the others. "I'll get an ice cappuccino," Gus replied, "I don't drink coffee I'll just have water," Willow said, "Iced tea for me, uncle." 

Phillp just nodded and made it for us. The store was pretty empty since everyone would be at home for new years. We sat t the same spot me and Amity sat and we talked about what we should do after this. Caleb then came over and handed our drinks, "Ah, I see your friends with my nephew, nice to see you again Hunter, tell your mom I said Hi," Hunter gave him a thumbs up.

"Those are your uncles?" he nodded. No wonder they looked nearly the same but I never thought about it. "So, Amity, how'd you sleep last night," Vee joked, "Shut up," she said rolling her eyes. The others just laughed at her. "How bout you Luz?" I just replied by saying, "It was alright. Honestly I didn't mind her sleeping like that. As long as she's comfortable then I'm comfortable ."

"Ok, ok. So how was it had fun?" Gus looked at Amity. "What do you mean?" she looked at him in  confusion. Vee nudged his arm and gave him a look. Now both of us were curious about it. "What do you mean by that Gus?" he just looked at me and shrugged the quickly sipped his drink. "Hey Vee can I borrow your phone?" she just looked at me then handed it to me. I quickly looked through her gallery and saw a video that was recently filmed. I sent it to my number. then handed it back to her. "Thanks." 

After we finished we went to the arcade that was down the block. We played around for an hour all of us getting tickets we used those to buy the prizes. We only got 2 prizes but it was good enough. It was 4 in the afternoon, so we headed to the mall to watch a movie. Might as well spent the last day if the year with friends since your family is out.

We watched The Exorcist. It was a horror movie. We watched it since there wasn't anything else that was interesting to watch. We bought popcorn and drinks. We sat in the middle row with the best view of the entire cinema. Willow sat beside me and in between Hunter, Gus sat beside him then Amity came in but before she sat down beside Gus, Vee took her seat. The 4 exchanged smirks and leaved an empty seat beside me so she just sat beside me.

I could tell she was scared especially since we watched a horror movie with Vee last time. People were so focused on the movie that who ever spoke was shushed. It was so horrific that Amity grabbed my arm and squeezed it real hard. I tried to calm her down by grabbing her hand and holding it. I didn't know if it worked because she didn't move after that. After it was done, I walked out with Amity still holding my hand the others were talking about the movie but Amity was still terrified. We went to the food court to get some late afternoon snack.

They saw us holding hands, "Amity are you scared a ghost is gonna grab you and possess you or something or do you feel comfortable holding Luz's hand?" Gus joked. She just looked at our hands and let go. When they faced forward talking again Amity took my hand and help it tight. I liked the feeling of her soft warm hands in mine.She's probably still scared.

We talked and then we decided to end our day with our last activity that is ice skating. I paid for the tickets put on the skates and headed to the ice. My leg still hurts but it doesn't hurt that much. Gus didn't know how to skate so he just recorded us skating. Vee showing us her moves on ice then she challenged me to see who can skate better. I accepted since the mall is kinda empty because it New Years Eve. So I skate around showing her some moves, she did better than me so with my final move I grabbed Amity and we figure skated around the ice. Some people who was at the mall recorded us and posted it on social media.

Well time to go and with that we all rushed out before crowds of people come looking for us. We came home around 8 o'clock seeing my mom was sitting on the couch watching some tv. We placed our stuff down and we headed prepared ourselves to stay up for New Years. We had the snacks, games and bean bags to sit.

I went to brush my teeth in my bathroom went Amity just happen to be putting on her shirt. I entered the room closed the door which surprised her she quickly covered put on her shirt but I didn't bother looking. I'm not the type for person who would get flustered when I enter the room with someone putting their shirt on, unless they were fully naked or you know. I went to the bathroom and started brushing my teeth the Amity entered. "Next time knock," she advised. I rinsed my mouth with water and walked over to her. "Next time lock the door," then I left.

We played more games watch more movies and then it was 11:48 pm. We got ready to watch the fireworks so everyone got up and fought over the place they wanted to sit so they can enjoy the fireworks. I just laughed at them and went to my room where I could see the fireworks too. I heard the door opened and I thought it would be Vee, "I'm gonna watch the fireworks here in the comfort of my own room while those idiots fight sown there," the person just laughed and when I turned around I saw it was Amity, "Mind if I watch with you?" I nodded and patted the bed where she could sit.

I opened the curtains and sat on the bed with Amity grabbing a blanket and covering it over both of us. We watched as the fireworks were released as it lighted up the sky with different kinds of different colours. We entered the new year. It was January 1st. Both of us sat there on the bed watch the fireworks, "Luz...can I tell you something?" I nodded, "I-," before she finished the others rushed in, "Hey, Luz can we make hot coco?" Gus said with the others behind him. "Sure make me and Amity some," I allowed, "Speaking of Amity have you seen her?" She poked out the blanket looking at them, "Oh," then they closed the door.

"You were saying?" I continued, "It's nothing, I forgot what I was gonna say," I just shrugged then we continue to watch the fireworks.

"Happy New years, Luz."

"Happy New years, Ams."
