Luz's POV:

I woke this morning to see me and Amity still sleeping in my arms. I Just smiled then I sat up. I looked at her face and moved a few strands of hair from her face. Her minty green coloured hair was nice but you can see the roots growing out. I sat there for awhile staring at how peacefully she sleep. She turned around to face my direction.

"Sleep well?" but she just mumbled a reply which I didn't understand. I went down stairs and made breakfast. Before that I checked on Vee. She was still sleeping. Downstairs in the kitchen I made waffles, berry smoothie and a fruit salad. When I was done I went up and took a bath. When I went out I saw Amity still sleeping. Is she really that sleepy?

I put on my clothes and saw Vee was already awake, I think? She was just leaning against the wall with sleepy eyes. "Vee wake up your gonna fall," and with that she woke up and went down stairs. We both had our breakfast together but Blight was still upstairs sleeping. So I brought breakfast to the room and woke her up.

I placed the food near her nose and it woke her up. "Morning sleeping beauty. Had a nice sleep?" She nodded, sat up and I handed her the plate of waffles and fruits. "How's your leg?" I asked looking at her. "It's ok I guess," I nodded at went to grab clothes for her to wear. She picked up her phone, "oh shoot- I'm supposed to be at the manor today," she quickly got up and took a bath.

5 minutes later~

"Uhh- Luz?" I heard Amity called from the bathroom. I went up to the bathroom and knocked, "can you pass me the towel I left it in the room," she said from the other said. I went to grab the towel and passed it to her.

Time skip 1:15 pm

Amity invited us over to the Blight Manor to have a Christmas feast with her siblings. Vee got excited and I was happy to be called over for a Christmas feast. We got prepared, brought our gifts to the manor and left around 2.

When we arrived there was alot of cars. "Woah, what's the occasion?" I asked Amity out of curiosity. "I have no idea," she replied. We entered and parked in the garage. When we entered there was people wearing dresses and suits. Lucky for us we Amity told us to wear these and that I have spare dresses in my closet.

The twins caught us, "Mittens, mom and dad is back and they brought their business partners and some other people," Em said. "Really? Great... I thought it was just gonna be us," she complained. The someone called out to me, "Luz?" when I turned around I was shock to see my dad, "Dad, it's you. Wh-what are you doing here?" I asked hugging him. "I should be asking you. I'm here because our company is having a Christmas feast here," he replied looking at me.

"Luz," The others said walking towards me, "Hey guys this is my dad, Manny Noceda," I said introducing him to them, "Hi Mr. Noceda nice to me you again," Vee said waving at him. "Hello Vee and you guys must be Mr and Mrs. Blights children," he said taking his hand out to shake. "Yes we are I'm Ed this is Em and this is Amity," Ed said shaking his hand.

Then 2 people came up to us, "Manny, I see you have met our children," the lady said. "Hello children. We were looking for you kids," she continued. "Who are you 2?" she said looking at me and Vee. "I'm Luz Noceda and this is Vee. Nice to meet you we are friends of Amity," I said smiling at her. "The Luz Noceda? Manny's daughter that we hear so much about?" she said.

"Yeah," the lady then looked at me and smiled, "well it nice knowing mittens has made friends with someone like you. I heard you good at everything, is that true?" she said looking at me. I just smiled, "she can play the piano or the guitar and even the violin," Ed said. "Oh really? I would love to hear you perform for us," she said smiling. With that the Mrs. Blight went to a space a little taller that where we were, "Listen up everyone. Today we have the one and only Luz Noceda, and she will be performing for us.

I went to the piano and played. As I was done, everyone applauded for me. I could see my dad shed a tear and my friends cheering for me. I felt so happy but my eyes hurt because of the damn spotlight.

Blight and Noceda conversation:

Odalia: Your daughter is really talented Manny.

Manny: Thank you ma'am.

Odalia: Please call me Odalia.

Alador: Your daughter really is something. She would be great if she married our son Edric.

Manny: You really think so?

Odalia: Yes but sadly Edric is gay and Emira is already dating someone.

Alador: We still have mittens. She's turning 18 soon.

Odalia: I know but she said she's straight and maybe your daughter is also straight.

Manny: I don't think so I heard from her mother that my daughter came out as bi.

Odalia: Well that just leaves Mittens. If she liked her then that would be great. They could continue the Blight Industry we would give it to the twins but they're not very responsible and even if they were they declined it.

Alador: Maybe we do have a chance look over there.

End of conversation.

3rd person POV:

The 3 of them looked at Luz and Amity who weren't to far from them. Luz was making Amity laugh and she was very responsible and polite. Vee was with the twins near them but Edric was being a little but immature. The adults smiled and went over to them.

"So how's the party?" Odalia asked Luz and Amity, "A little boring but it would be if I have this batata with me," Luz asked looking at Amity who's face turned red. "That's good to hear, Amity darling is it ok for me to speak to you?" she asked. Amity nodded and followed her mother to an empty room.

"Sit down here mittens," she said pulling out a chair. Amity took her seat and her mother began, "How's school?" she asked, "It's good mother, I passed every subject with flying colours, I've been practicing my piano lessons more," she answered with confidence, "Did you learn anything new," she said looking at her daughter, "Yes, I did, I learned how to cook, bake, paint and I learned to play more instruments and I also manage to get a star for music class," she answered, "who taught you these because usually the maids and butlers would be doing all of those," she questioned. "Luz taught me mother. I know we don't usually do things on our own but Luz taught me how and it's a fun experience."

"So about Luz, where did you meet here?" Odalia asked, "She was a transfer from Glandus High this semester. I met her in the school library on the first day so now we are great friends, and yesterday I accidentally fell down the stairs and hurt my leg but she cared for me, so I am glad to have her as a friend. So please don't stop me from being friends with her, mother," her mother smiled at her daughter. "Oh mittens, I'm leaving that old behavior behind I'm sorry that I did all this to you but now your almost 18 I can't stop you from doing what you want, so I won't stop you from being friends with her," she said putting her hand on Amity's shoulder. Amity smiled at her mother and broke down into tears. "Oh no mittens please don't cry, now one last question," she said hugging her daughter. "What is it?" she said sobbing. "Are you straight?" Amity was shock at her mothers question. It was quiet for awhile the she told her mother. "I-I'm sorry mother I don't think I am, please don't be mad. I know you want me to be the heir of the Blight Industry but I don't find any interest in men," she said coming out. Her mother nodded and walked out the room.

Amity was surprised by her mothers behavior and how she wasn't mad about she not being straight. She cleaned herself up and walked out the room to find Luz. She saw Luz was talking to her siblings and Vee. "Hey Ams, so whatchu guys talk about?" Luz asked hugging her. "Oh nothing much just talked about school and stuff she said smiling but in the inside she was really happy to see her mom not get mad at her.

"Well I just found out our daughter is not straight," Odalia said to Alador. They both smiled at each other and the rest of the night was fun. Luz went home with Vee. Their parents was going back for another business trip in France. Amity followed Luz home.

When they got home the 3 of them handed each other their presents. Luz got a new jacket from Vee and an...otter onesie from Amity. "What the...this is so cute I'm gonna wear this right now." Luz got up and wore the otter onesie. "That was actually a joke, here's your gift," Amity said handing Luz a bag. In side was a new outfit. A white long sleeved button shirt with overalls. Amity got: a giant teddy bear so she would stop pulling Luz to sleep with her and the same matching overalls that Amity got for Luz. Vee got a cute pumpkin sweater from Amity and a box of  nutella so she would stop finishing it.

It really was a Christmas miracle.
