Amity's POV:

straight hair

I wake up early in the morning before my siblings do. My parents are usually on their business trips so the maids and butlers would always make our breakfast but I wouldn't want to trouble them by making mine, so I would prepare my own stuff.

straight A's

My parents are the Blights owner to The Blight Industries. So to keep the family name is a good state I would always study and get good grades but my parent would always say not to over work myself. I'm glad they're happy for me just as long as I don't fail too many subjects.

straight forward

I would always make it easier for people to understand what I'm saying but I don't understand why people would always just keep quiet or just stare at me when i talk to them. So most of the time, I would talk to Willow, her boyfriend Hunter and Agustus or we just call him Gus.

straight path

I will never do anything to disappoint people and I will always go on the right path. Even if I do things like drink, I wouldn't do anything more sinister like rob a bank or take weed or stuff like that. But I drink when I'm feeling so under the weather or when I'm having a great time.

i don't corners

Doing things the hard way is the best way of doing things like going through half of my life for good education is so I can succeed. Skipping school isn't really a good idea and we all know that. Something like doing work is best we do it properly instead of doing it simply so it can get done faster.

First day of school I'm excited to learn and meet new people, even though everyone here is famous but sometimes I don't even know them.

I texted them in the group chat that I'm already at school. After I did, I headed to the school library. On my way, I felt my phone vibrate, "Alright...I'll be there in idk...gotta wait for Hunter to wake up he resting his body on my stomach and I can't move," willow texted back. I just laughed a little guessing they were having a sleep over...again.

I arrived at the entrance of the library, as soon as I opened the door the cold breeze of the room rushed out. It had a scent of the usual Lavender scent that I loved smelling. Oh how I missed it. I love lavenders, I loved the smell and the colour. It was my favorite flower. I entered the room seeing it was as peaceful as always, empty as usual. I enjoyed it, it was like my favorite place to be. As I walked down the pathway with book shelves on both sides, I went to sit at my usual spot at the study table on the second floor.

I then saw someone sitting there with their hoodie on. My place that is at a table in front of the window. I loved that place because it had the best view of the school, it also had a great view of the sun when it is setting. Great  I thought to myself. I just sat next to the person to see him sleeping. He actually slept with his face on the table. I just kept quiet took out my book.

I placed my bag on the floor under the table. I was reading my favorite book The Good Witch Azura Volume 7 . As I was reading. I saw a spider crawling on the table. Even if it was cute, I'm still scared of it. I just kept staring at it until it came closer. When it did it came closer to me I screamed which made the guy next to me wake up.

He woke up and look at me in confusion and a grumpy look. I'm guessing he's grumpy because I woke him up. He then saw the spider that was on my book and picked it up. "Your scared of this little arachnid?" his voice startled me but it wasn't a he it was a she. She then brought the spider to a nearby spider web and placed it there.

She wore a purple coloured crop top hoodie inside the blue jacket and a dark green cargo pants. It looked good on her. Her hair was long and kinda curly but it was a nice style for her. Her hair was a brunette colour but it had a light blue highlight. Pretty..wait- you just met her c'mon.

I just sat their like an idiot. "Why do you look familiar?" she said looking at me. "Are you a Blight?" she said as her eyes widen. I just nodded my head. I felt my face burning up, my stomach was flipping and my heart pounding so hard I think it could have been heard. "Are you alright? You look like your burning up. Did the spider bite you? Are you sick?" she asked.

I just kept quiet and gave her a thumbs up and continue reading my book. Why do I feel like this oh my god! The spider must've bit me...wait no it didn't...god I feel like I'm gonna hurl-. She sat next to me them started looking at me while putting her head on her arm then she smiled. "A Blight reading The Good Witch Azura...well how 'bout that?" she said. I just looked at her, "I like reading it ok?" I said looking at my book. The bell rang signaling that it was 7:30. That means the office is open.

"Well I'm going to the office to grab my schedule...do you mind showing where the office is? she asked me, I'm guessing she must be new. She said she was going to the office so I decided I should also go there since I also need to grab my schedule too. I packed my stuff she and she picked up her bag and her skateboard that was under the table. How did I not see that. Of course at this time the halls would be filled with some students, not little, not to much.

People just stopped in their tracks, stopped talking and started to look at the both of us when we were walking down the hall. I just kept looking forward with a serious face but I can tell the girl was just smiling. Her hands holding her skateboard. Hexide doesn't really have a rule when it comes to using a skateboard.

We arrived at the office and that when my phone vibrated, " Ams, wya? We're gonna wait for you at the office. Rn we're grabbing a drink at the cafeteria." Willow texted, "I'm at the office rn...can you buy me a caramel latte while you guys are there? Thx I'll be waiting at the compound," I replied. I then took my schedule but when I turned around I was surprise to see she was standing near the door. I thought she would've left.

As I got out she followed behind me. People were staring again. I do't know why but as long as I can remember people would never look at me like this. They would just pass by me. "Mind if i follow you around? I haven't really talk to anyone else but you yet." she said shrugging. I just nodded my head and we headed to the compound.

We waited for a few minutes, that few minutes were just silents. She was just using her skateboard trying out some tricks. I was just sitting down in the bench reading a book. Then I heard voices, I knew who's voice those were. I stood up and saw the 3 of them holding a cup in their hand as they were walking to me. "Hey darling, how's it going?" Willow greeting me with a smile as Boscha handed me my drink. Gus was just drink his coffee. "It good. Took you guys awhile," I said taking a sip of my drink.

Then the girl skate towards us and said ,"Hey Ams, who are these guys?" she said putting her hand on Gus's shoulder. They turned to face her and then they just stared at her with their eyes wide. "No way...no fucking way Ams...no fucking way your friends with her!" Gus yelled looking at her in shock. The other 2 were just staring.

"Uh....guys? What's wrong with being friends with her?" I asked making myself look like an idiot. "Oh...uhh...I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Luz Noceda. I transferred from Glandus High," she said as she took her hand out to shake. I shook her hand and nodded. The bell rang meaning we only have 5 more minutes to look for our class.

"Do you need help locating your class?" Gus said looking nervous. Why is everyone like this today?  "Yeah sure...my class is uhh...in room 109," she replied looking at her schedule. "Great that's where we're are going. I guess we're going to be classmates," Willow said smiling. "How bout you Ams? What class are you going to?" Hunter looked at me. "Same as you guys...well I guess we're gonna be together the rest of the year. Now c'mon let's go before the teacher kills us for being late."
