I missed you

Zhang Hao third person POV

Things had been different between the two since their little interaction, becoming even more clingy to eachother. It became normal for Hanbin to wake up early and eat breakfast with Zhang hao before he went to prepare for his solo. Although it was only simple dishes such as left over rice and seaweed, Zhang hao would always walk out of the shower with food heated up and left on the kitchen table, Hanbin seated on a barstool waiting for him to arrive.

In the mornings they would talk in quiet hushes as to not wake the others up and in time Zhang hao had became confident enough to peck Hanbin's cheek, mumbling a small thank you to him before leaving the house and allowing Hanbin to return to bed. Though the two never confronted or even acknowledged their conversation fully, pretending they had always been this close. The action began to seem just as normal as a hug, or holding hands, something any two friends would do.

On the days Zhang hao went with the rest of the team to practice or do vocal recordings, even the odd event such as live streams, they acted as normal. Of course normal meant their usual clingy selves but although neither acknowledged that the kisses to the cheeks or foreheads or jaws were anything but just friendly behaviour, they both made it a conscious effort not to do it around the others. Well at least not in a way that was blantantly obvious.

Zhang hao didn't know why or how it had became so normal for them and as the days went on he couldn't deny that everything to do with their relationship got more confusing for him. He had always been aware of his sexuality, that he didn't really care for gender but he had never had a proper crush before, dedicating all his school years to studying and getting good grades. Though as his chest continued to hurt after Hanbin pecked his forehead for the hundredth time or his hands would shakingly open the door after kissing Hanbin's cheek. He knew something was wrong.

It was now the early hours of the night, as the members all relaxed in their rooms after dinner. Zhang hao laid in his bed, as he scrolled through the comments to the recent TikTok's he and Hanbin had posted together, performing Hot Summer and Jelly pop. He found himself embarrassingly flushing at the comments on the screen, pointing out how many times their eyes met and the way Zhang hao had tapped his finger down Hanbin's body. It made him feel weirdly excited at how people were reacting to their interactions though it was beginning to feel like their fans could read through his emotions, almost as if they understood Zhang hao more than even he did.

"Hey guys we are going to watch a movie in the living room. Did you want to join us?"

The sweet warm voice of the boy he had just been thinking about interrupted his thoughts, causing him to jump as his eyes darted to the room door to see Matthew and Hanbin at it. Hanbin's eyes were directly on him as he leaned against the door frame, his arms crossed.

Zhang hao quickly smiled at the younger, shoving down a blush as he nodded and exited the tab on his phone, shutting it off and shoving his phone into his pocket as he watched Matthew and Hanbin leave for the living room. Not missing the small but subtle wink Hanbin gave him before waving goodbye.

Once they did, he let out a sigh, picking up his blanket and one of his pillows to take with him to the living room as he looked over at Gyuvin and Gunwook also getting up. He couldn't help but to smile at how cute they looked, eyes sparkling in excitement like a child going to their first sleepover. For some reason the group had not yet done something like this all together, maybe due to Zhang hao's extra busy schedule.

He waited for the two to be ready to leave before heading out behind them, his mind still running through the tiktok comments about how cute Hanbin and him were together.

Zhang hao waddled into the living room, his hands filled with the large blanket and pillow as he saw his members sprawled across the living room couches. His eyes scanned around them until he found the familiar fluffy dark brown hair of Hanbin's pressed against the back of the couch. Though despite their members all already being there, Hanbin still had an empty seat beside him. It made Zhang hao confused as to why some of the maknaes had sat on the floor when a seat was available.

But regardless of that, Zhang hao immediately walked over to Hanbin, feeling the others eyes intensely follow him as he stepped over and inbetween the others, before falling back into the couch next to Hanbin. He then unfolded his blanket, draping it over the two of them as he felt Hanbin immediately nestle into his side. Zhang hao smiled at the sight, wrapping a hand around Hanbin's waist as he let the others body lean against him. Zhang hao glanced down at the others face, gently ruffling Hanbin's bangs, which had clumped together due to being slightly wet. He wished to take in Hanbin's every feature before the lights turned off, even as the other boy's lips moved as he spoke.

"Hyung I missed you today"
