A hint of musk

Zhang how third person POV

Zhang hao let himself be dragged over to the car by the younger, the walk being longer than Zhang hao had expected, though he didn't mind having to hold Hanbin's hand for a couple more minutes. He glanced around at the trees surrounding them, the faint sound of birds chirping in the distance making him feel at peace.

"So are you going to tell me why you acted so weird at breakfast or not?"

Hanbin spoke as he turned to glance at Zhang hao, the two still walking in sync. Zhang hao roughly bit on his bottom lip, feeling his heart begin to race and his calmness dissipate as he stubbornly shook his head, beginning to walk faster so that now he was dragging the younger behind him, not being able to look at Hanbin without loosing his composure. Though he still did not let go of the other's hand.

"Mhm where you jealous of Matthew and I?"

Hanbin prodded further, sensing the others anxiety as he dug his feet into the ground, stopping Zhang hao from being able to drag him. Zhang hao turned to look at the younger boy in shock, his eyes widening at the pure bluntness of Hanbin's words. His cheeks flushed as he shook his head once more, letting go of Hanbin's hand before beginning to walk off, refusing to embarass himself further though Hanbin reached out, clasping a hand around Zhang hao's bicep, roughly halting him from moving.

"Hao hyung I have the keys remember. You can't go get the shirt without me"

Hanbin chuckled before letting go of Zhang hao's bicep. He crossed his arms around his chest, a smug smirk on his face as he stood, waiting for Zhang hao to confess. When the older saw this he sighed defeatedly, his eyes trailing to the ground as he looked down almost in shame. Sometimes it felt like he had to try a million times harder to fluster Hanbin, compared to how the other simply looking at him for too long, would make Zhang hao flinch.

"Maybe"

He mumbled, his voice so quiet that he wasn't sure Hanbin could hear him, not that he wanted the Korean to in the first place anyways. However, he knew the other had when he felt a hand rest on his shoulder giving it a little squeeze. He closed his eyes as he felt Hanbin's warm breath on his neck, causing him to shiver.

"That can be you whenever you want hyung and don't pretend you don't want to after how I woke up to you cuddling me in the van"

Hanbin whispered softly before suddenly pulling away and continuing to walk towards the car, as if nothing had happened, forcing an embarrassed Zhang hao to trail behind the younger, his mind replaying what Hanbin had said to him, wondering if he would ever have the guts to flat out ask Hanbin to do so.

Until they reached the car, Hanbin spoke constantly, lengthily explaining as to why he had been given the car keys but the older still couldn't focus, held up on Hanbin's words from only minutes ago. Even more confused as to how the other could pretend nothing happened just seconds later.

"Here"

Hanbin spoke, halting Zhang hao's thoughts as he slung the shirt over the older boy's shoulder. Zhang hao awkwardly murmured a thank you as he went to the side of the car to take of his shirt before noticing that Hanbin had not yet turned around, simply watching the older. Zhang hao let go of the hem of his shirt, his cheeks heating up as he walked over the the other, placing two hands on Hanbin's shoulders and forcing him to turn around, receiving an innocent laugh from the unbashful younger.

Zhang hao bit his inner cheek before turning around completely, just in case the other was still looking, and taking off his own grass stained t-shirt before slinging Hanbin's oversized black shirt over his body, the familiar woody of the other's cologne with a hint of musk consuming his senses. For a moment he could understood why girls always wanted their boyfriends hoodies. It scent made it feel as if the other was close to him and he could only imagine wearing Hanbin's hoodie to be like a warm hug. He scoffed at his own behaviour, lightly hitting his head to remove the thoughts .

Zhang hao then smoothed out his hair before hesitantly walking back over to Hanbin, quietly intertwining their hands as he waited for the younger to lock the door once more, before tugging him to run down the hill together.
