Chay took a mini nap after feeding and putting Eclipse for a nap, he knows his son needs sleep more than ever, it is his first time ever, flying and travelling. They literally travelled to the other side of the world and Eclipse finally met people other than him, Lisa, Victor and the sweet Norwegian ladies that always greet Chay and Eclipse on their morning walk. Chay is even surprised that his son didn't kick a fuss in the aeroplane, he slept in the baby bassinet without a care in the world. 

Chay switched on the baby monitor and started to drift to wonderland, after his power nap, he woke up to the clock on his nightstand showing it is exactly 8 p.m. He can see on the baby monitor that his son is still sound asleep. Eclipse feeding time is almost near, so Chay went to his bathroom and took a warm bath. He put some lemon-scented bath bombs in the bathtub and let the warm water run till he sees bubbles, soaking his tired body in the bathtub, yup, the jet lag is kicking in now. He sighed as his aching and tensed body started to relax minute by minute. He let the warm water and the lemon scent calm his nerves, he knows his son must be still heavily under the sleep spell as he is tired and with a full belly, Chay has a few minutes before Eclipse's feeding time.

Kim who arrived at his room noticed that Chay's door is left ajar, thinking Chay might be in, he slowly knocked on the door thrice but still no movement. He entered the room and he was hit by Chay's sweet scent, lemon, pine and vanilla. Oh god, how he missed this familiar scent, his Chay's smell. It is too strong, so nostalgic, so calming, and so so familiar, it made Kim take in the smell as much as his lungs can suck in so he can memorize the smell once again after being totally deprived of it for almost 2 years.

He can see that Chay is having his bath as he can smell the familiar lemon-scented body soap and the bathroom light is on. He was about to get out when he heard a soft wailing. He looked for the sound and he found a white door, left ajar as well. 

He slowly opened the door and he heard the wailing which started to get louder. He switched on the light and approached the crying baby, his big Bambi eyes are now drenched with tears, his eyes lashes are all wet from his tears, his chubby cheeks are turning red and he has snot running down his cute nose and his cries turned into sniffles when he saw Kim. Eclipse with his pouty lips looked at Kim like he carries the answer to all his problems, like this so familiar stranger will keep him safe and sound where there is no sign of his papa.

Kim gently picked up the baby, cradle the baby against his chest and sway him back and forth while humming a lullaby which used to be sung by his late mom to make him sleep.

"Hey, little one, you are safe... your father will be here soon...shhhh..you are safe, I am here, I will keep you safe", Kim said gently while swaying his body slowly to left and right.

Eclipse automatically pressed his side of the face on the stranger's chest. Kim didn't even realize how he didn't feel any form of awkwardness in holding the baby and calming the baby, it is like he has been doing it his whole life. 

"I am Kimhan. Aren't you a cute baby, yes you are...look at those Bambi eyes...you look exactly like your father" Kim said in a very fond tone.

When Kim saw the crying baby, all he wants to do is soothe the baby and eliminate and reason behind those tears, the same feeling whenever he sees his sweet Bambi in tears, well, the image of his Bambi crying the day he left him heartbroken still haunts him to date, he hates that the sole reason behind his Bambi tears is him. 

He promised not to hurt Chay but that's what he did and Kim is now facing all the consequences, the baby in his arms is Chay's and another man's, not his but another man, another man managed to make Chay fall in love with him, Chay has moved on and Kim is still at the place where he left Chay and his heart. Kim doesn't know why but the baby makes him happy and calm despite the fact the child is another man's. He cannot bring himself to hate this innocent baby that looks exactly like his Chay, his sweet Bambi, he cannot hate this baby Bambi.

He saw the name Eclipse written on the wall as well as on the wooden crib. 

"So, this little fella here is named Eclipse, what a pretty name for a pretty baby like him, of course, look at Chay, his son going to look cute and pretty just like his father."

He noticed the pictures on the wall, all the images are of baby Eclipse and some with Chay and Eclipse from his ultrasound till his current age which Kim assumed was around 4 months.

There is even a photo with 4 of them, the white couple, Chay and Eclipse. Eclipse does look so familiar, he resembles him for some unknown reason, those nose, hair and even those eyebrows. Kim brushed the thought of baby Eclipse's being his, they only did it once and Kim feels Eclipse must be like 4 months old, way off if Chay managed to conceive during their lovemaking which actually made him feel so disappointed, he so badly wants Eclipse to be his, like the cliche stories that Chay secretly loves to read, where the lead hides the fact from the baby's father that the child is his but Kim believes Chay won't be that cruel, he would at least would have told Kim if he got pregnant thanks to that faithful night.

Eclipse's cries started to die down, Kim sat on the rocking chair and started to sing the lullaby again while patting his back gently till Eclipse started to doze off on his chest, it has been so long since he last heard the lullaby, now the lyrics of the song is smoothly rolling out of his tongue in order to pacify the crying and sulky baby in his arms. The baby indeed has Kimhan wrapped around his little finger just like Chay had him all along, despite knowing Kimhan for a day. Who can even resist those Bambi eyes?

Once he noticed the baby's even breathing, he gently placed the sleeping baby on the crib and left. He looked at the sleeping baby, he now looks exactly like Chay, the way his plump lips parted and the way one of his tiny arms tucked under his head, another arm resting on his little tummy, he really looks like a mini Chay. Kim is so tempted to pinch those chipmunk cheeks but he stopped himself. He really wants to stay a bit longer and watch the baby sleep but he doesn't want to scare Chay, he knows Chay doesn't want to see Kim and hopes Kim is at least able to fulfil this wish of Chay's. He doesn't want to upset the younger male any further, he did such irreversible damage to Chay's heart. 

Chay got out of the bathroom after 2 minutes in his white bathrobe after Kim's departure. He quickly changed into his night clothes, an oversized baby pink sweater and a pair of grey sweatpants. He went to his son's room and he was surprised to see his son sleeping soundly amidst it being his feeding time. He lifted the sleeping baby and he was a bit puzzled when he can smell P'Kim's scent on his son. The smell of pine, orange and the smell of rain are so strong on his son's skin. Chay inhaled the familiar smell and his eyes teared up. 

He still misses his ex-lover like crazy, and he is still in love with Kim despite that man basically saying to his damn face that Chay was basically his toy and he was just messing around, a typical rich boy messing with the innocent, poor kid who wears his heart on his sleeve. Chay thought he moved on but that all crumbled once he laid his eyes on his ex-lover. He really prays that he hardly bumps into the older lad, but his heart can't take it and he may do something stupid like confront Kim once again, this time, the older version of him who has his brother by his side will confront Kim. Chay knows it is hard to expect any good outcome from the confrontation as Kim has moved on like Porsche said, Kim now has a lover.

 Eclipse started to wake up and he let out a small whine.

"There we go, someone is hungry."

Chay sat on the rocking chair comfortably, he can smell Kim's smell on the rocking chair as well, is he imagining stuff? He must have been so sleep-deprived that his mind started to create things that are not even there.

There is no way Kim would have entered his room, gone to Eclipse's room and peeked at their son, it sounds so ridiculous even to Chay's imaginative mind. Kim has been avoiding Chay since that faithful night and there is no way he would voluntarily want to be in the same space as Chay. The man has bluntly stated his distaste for people like Chay, the one who believes in true love.

Eclipse's cry made Chay wake from his stupor. He slowly lifted his shirt and placed his baby's hungry mouth against his nipple. The baby latched on the nipple and happily start to suckle. Chay needs to switch Eclipse to his other nipple as Eclipse has dried the first nipple. Eclipse gently let go of Chay's nipple and nestled against his chest to catch more sleep. It is Eclipse's habit, he has never been aggressive with his papa despite how hungry he is and he always nestles against his papa's chest after his feeding time. Chay kissed Eclipse's head and placed him on his shoulder to burp the baby. Once he is done, Chay gave Eclipse a bath and changed into a long sleeve body suit with pictures of puppies. Chay chose to breastfeed because he heard how good it is for the baby, it has many benefits and he wants the best for his son, he after all had a very hard pregnancy and delivery.

So, how was the chapter? A little visit from Kim, love the lullaby and we all love a soft Kim, don't we?
