after valerie was done peeing, she opened the door and jumped a little when she saw victoria, forgetting that she had agreed to talk to her and that she waited on her. she quickly glanced around her, seeing nobody was waiting to use the bathroom and gave victoria a gesture to go in the bathroom. valerie already had a headache, and over the loud music, she wouldn't be able to hear whatever victoria wanted to say, unless they were in the bathroom or in a room, that she didn't feel like going to.

she closed and locked the door behind victoria as she walked in, before leaning on the wall and slowly sliding down it, sitting on the floor. it was an unsanitary thing to do, but valerie's feet was killing her and she didn't feel like standing up any longer.

the two girls sat in silence, victoria not knowing exactly what to say to her anymore, and more nervous than she should be to speak up. while valerie just rested her head on the wall, her eyes slightly squinted.

victoria could tell valerie was intoxicated, which confused her since every party they went to before, she made sure to only take at least one shot, but it was obvious valerie did more than that. but then again, they two hadn't hung out or talked in quite awhile, valerie changed, and victoria knew that.

with a sigh, victoria finally spoke up. "i miss you, you know.." it was probably the worst thing she could've started off with, but it was what she wanted to say the most.

valerie smiled at her words, although she wasn't exactly happy to hear them. "yeah.." she spoke, barely above a whisper.

silence returned to the the two girls, as victoria sighed. she knew she wasn't going to hear the words 'i miss you too' from valerie, but it didn't hurt to hope.

"what the fuck happened to us, vic?" valerie whispered, a small laugh following after her words.

victoria turned back to her, shaking her head. she didn't know where their friendship went wrong either, she wanted to say the fight they had about roy, but she hated thinking that she was the reason her friendship fell apart, even though she knew she was.

valerie's eyes opened a little, but she quickly closed them when the bathroom light reached them. she breathed out, her stomach starting to rumble. "did you come with dani?" she asked her ex best friend.

victoria had a small smile on her face at the fact that valerie still called them by their nicknames, but hesitated to answer as the many texts valerie sent them and the argument the three had, came to mind. however, she knew it would be best to not lie to her, and her find out on her own. "yeah..."

valerie nodded, she began getting tired, the longer she had her eyes closed, the closer she was to falling asleep. "how's he?" she asked vic.

"he's good." valerie answered, before taking a deep breathe and starting to talk, saying what she actually wanted to, but was cut off by a loud ring.

valerie jumped due to the ringing noise, and the feeling of a vibration. but she sighed, pulling her phone out of her bra. her phone unlocked with face idea, so she answered the call, putting it up to her ear without seeing who it was.

"hello?" she spoke.

"valerie, what the fuck? why weren't you answering your phone?" she heard the all familiar voice of ashtray.

she guessed she was too tired and focused on the headache she said, that she didn't feel the buzzing of the messages he was sending her.

"ash!" she smiled a little, before tilting her head. "uh, i guess i didn't see them."

victoria watched as her ex best friend smiled, talking to who she know knew, was ashtray. she remembered all the times valerie would talk about her feelings for him before they started dating, and even though before, victoria didn't think he was the best for her, she was glad he now kept her happy.

on the other side of the phone, ashtrays eyebrows furrowed. he heard loud music playing in the background when valerie wasn't talking. "where are you?"

valerie's eyebrows raised, "a party. im tired."

ashtray shook his head, sighing to himself. he prayed she wasn't drunk and could tell what she was doing, since he wasn't there to take care of her. "alone?"

"no, i came with maddy but... i don't know where is. i'm with victoria, though." valerie answered.

ashtray was again confused. he knew the two weren't friends anymore, valerie told him everything about it. but that was the least important thing, it wasn't his business anyway. the fact that valerie didn't know where maddy was, meant she was probably planning to walk home if she didn't find her before the time she wanted to leave. "send me the address, i'm coming to get you." he told her, before hanging up and walking into the living room to inform fez that the two of them had to go get valerie.

valerie sighed, slowly moving her phone from her ear and sending ashtray her location like he said. victoria sat in silence, playing with her nails as she waited for valerie to put her phone down.

once she did, valerie looked at victoria, slowly standing up with the help of the sink, and sighed. "well, i gotta go but.. i'll see you around."

victoria good after her, she had more things she wanted to say to her, but she wasn't going to make valerie listen to them. "yeah.. okay, bye, val."

valerie nodded at her, opening the bathroom door and walking out to begin looking for maddy. though, her headache grew worse due to the music now being loud again, and because of all the sweaty, horny people, she gave up quickly.

she made her way out of the house, sitting down on the porch and leaning her head on the pole next to her, sending maddy a text so she didn't worry when she realizes that valerie was no longer at the party.

after a couple minutes of waiting, she finally heard a car stop, and she looked up to met with fezcos familiar car. with a smile, she stood and made her way over to it.

"heyyy." she dragged, opening the car door and sliding into the back seat.

fezco and ashtray exchanged looks, before ashtray just shook his head and turned straight. while fezco turned around and eyed the girl, "you good, kid?"

valerie put a hand on her head sarcastically, "i don't know, this headache is pretty bad."

fezco smiled, shaking his head like ashtray had done a minute ago, and turning, driving off from the house party.
