Chapter Thirty- Eight: For Definite

{Ella's POV}

"You sure?" I ask Zayn.

"Of course! Go!" Zayn pushes me out of my hotel room and shuts the door behind me. I look down the long, fancy modern hallway. Zayn offered to take Asha for me whilst I go on a 'date' with Niall. He asked me out and I said yes. I kind of need to go on one with him considering the previous two attempts have failed.

I get to the room the One Direction gang are in and knock on the door. Niall answers, dressed all nicely in a shirt, tie and blazer, but they're matched with skinny jeans and Vans.

Niall shuts the door, hugs me and kisses my cheek.

"You look beautiful." He smiles. I blush and he chuckles a little. I look down at my sandals. I decided to wear a floral dress, sandals and a cardigan.

"And you look very handsome." I compliment him before we head, arm in arm, out to the car.

{Niall's POV}

Ella looks beautiful. Simply beautiful. I've fallen head over heels for this girl. I watch her eating her Nandos across from me. Yep! I took her to Nandos for our first date without Asha. I mean, who doesn't like Nandos?

"So, what are your friends like?" I ask Ella. She shrugs and places down the chip she was about to eat.

"Don't have any." She replies. My mouth gapes open but I close it again. She has no friends. What the heck? Who wouldn't want to be friends with her.

"Why?" I ask confused.

"I moved to London and made some new friends, not quite like my old ones and then when I fell pregnant they all shot off. Weren't ever real friends," she tells me. "Although, I do have one friend at work who is also a good friend out of work." Ella mentions. I nod for her to continue. "Archie. He's a doctor on the ward with me. Hilarious guy and a real genuine person. He's always been there. He helped me with Asha actually," Ella tells me.

"That's nice." I smile. "And hey, we're all your friends!" I smile. Ella smiles back and we proceed to finish dinner. Once we have, we walk down to the ice cream parlour Indie and Liam went to a few days ago.

"What flavor Ella?" I ask.

"Um, I don't really like ice cream," she mentions. "It makes me feel sick if I eat a whole one." She explains. "But don't let that stop you!" She exclaims.

"Well, we'll just have to share." I state and order a chocolate ice cream. Ella laughs and once I get the ice cream we go and sit down in a park. I let Ella have a lick and then lick it after her.

We continue to eat the ice cream and by the end of it Ella has ice cream all around her mouth. I chuckle and grab my thumb and wipe it off. "Asha is better at keeping her food in her mouth than you." I say. Ella laughs again, she's always laughing and I wipe my fingers on my jeans.

I look around at all the other couples dancing under the trees with fairy lights in them, as the band plays music.

A slow song comes on and I offer Ella my hand. She takes it and we stand up and attempt to dance. I don't know how to slow dance and thankfully Ella doesn't either. I soon feel her head on my chest and I move my hands to her lower back, resting my chin on her head.

"Ella." I say. I'm going to do it, I'm going to ask her to be MY girlfriend and explain my feelings to her.

"Yeah." She replies. I step back a little so our eyes are now looking into each other's.

"I'm not very good at expressing my feelings. But I do know mine for you are very strong and I have never felt like this for a girl," I start. Ella's expression changes to a confused look. "I know we've only been on one date and two half dates, but that doesn't matter. I've fallen in love with you." I say. That could've gone better. Shit! Ella looks down at her feet and then back up at me.

The next thing I know her lips are on mine and I slide my hands back down to her lower back. Her hand is on the back of my head and she's up on her tippy toes. My first kiss in years! We break apart and rest our foreheads together.

"Be my girlfriend?" I ask her.

"For definite." She replies and I smile before scooping her up bridal style.

"Niall!" She squeals. I laugh and start to run out of the park. "Niall!" She squeals again.

"Haha! You're my princess now!" I chuckle and keep running whilst we laugh our heads off.

{Zayn's POV}

I shut the door behind Ella and turn around to see Asha standing there, arms crossed, pout on her face.

"Yes Ash?" I ask her.

"Where's Mummy going? She asks, still displaying her adorable pout. I chuckle and bend down to her height.

"On a date with Nio." I reply. Asha's face lights up and she runs around cheering. I chuckle and go into the kitchen to make her dinner. I watch her colouring in again once she settles down. "Do you like pasta?" I ask Asha.

"Yes thank you!" She replies, tilting her head back to look at me. I hold up my thumb at her and then serve both her and I a bowl of pasta with bacon and peas.

"Here you go!" I call and place it at the table. Asha skips over and sits down in the chair next to me.

"Thanks Zaynie." She smiles. I chuckle at the nickname and rub her head. She eats her food, making aeroplanes with the pasta on her fork and then takes her bowl to the bench. Geez she has good manners!

"All done?" I ask when she walks past.

"Yes thank you." Asha replies and I take my bowl up and then go and sit with her on the couch. "What can we do Zayn?" She asks me.

"We could do some colouring in." I suggest. Asha shakes her head and I try to think of something else I can do with a two and a half year old. "We can make paper aeroplanes." I suggest. Asha nods her head excitedly and bounces on the couch.

I pick up a note pad and rip off two sheets. I also hand her a book to lean on and grab one for myself.

"Right, first you fold it like this." I show her how to make a paper aeroplane.

"Done!" Asha cheers and I look at her very well done aeroplane. "Now what do we do?" Asha asks. I fold over the tip so it's blunt and wont poke her eye out.

"We fly them!" I smile. Asha squeals and we head to the other side of the living area. I show her how to fly the aeroplanes and we end up throwing them around the room for the next twenty minutes.

After playing with the planes I take Asha to brush her teeth, hair, use the toilet, put her night time nappy and pajamas on and then take her to her bed.

"Are you staying with me Zaynie?" Asha asks climbing onto the bed.

"Yep." I reply. "But I'll sleep on the couch." I reply. Asha's face suddenly turns back to an angry pout and I look at her confused. "What Ash?" I ask.

"I want you to sleep next to me! I get scared otherwise." Asha explains. I chuckle and look at the queen size bed that she looks so tiny in.

"Okay." I reply. Is it weird for me to sleep next to a two year old? No. It shouldn't be. She knows and trusts me, Ella knows and trusts me and I would never ever have any other intentions than to keep the little girl safe and sound.

I change into my pajama shorts and t- shirt in the bathroom and then join Asha again. "Right. Which book?" I ask picking up the pile.

"Um, Green Eggs and Ham!" Asha yells, pointing out the Dr. Seuss book. I nod and climb under the covers next to her.

After reading the book I used to read as a child I place it away and turn off the light. Asha snuggles up into my chest and her small hand grabs my big one.

"Zaynie," she says.

"Yes Asha." I reply.

"You know, if you and Perrie have a baby girl, you should call her Ellie." Asha mentions. "Because Ellie is a pretty little girls name and I would like to have a friend called Ellie." Asha explains. I smile and think about that. Ellie Malik. It sounds cute and the fact Asha wants to be friends with our baby is just too damn cute.

"I'll keep that in mind." I reply to Asha.

"Okay Zaynie. Nighty night." She yawns. I place a small kiss on her forehead.

"Good night Asha." I reply and the close my eyes. I cannot wait to have a child!
