"My...My ex..." She said in a broken voice.

"Jared...?" I tried not to sound too angry. I hated him ever since y/n told us about their relationship. Maybe I was a little jealous. I mean y/n is gorgeous and she didn't deserve someone who would terrify her like that. I mean I don't know what he had done but y/n was tough. She'd never cry so easily..

"y-yes..."

I saw that she was shaking.

"What did he say?" I ask. It's terrible to see her this upset. I want to help her.

"He wants revenge because I left him..."

"Revenge because you left him?" I repeated. She nodded. "Wait didn't you tell us that you left him because he cheated on you?"

"Yes... That was the final straw. But there was more... and that's the reason i'm so scared..." She looked down and tried to hide her crying.

"Y/n? I'm here for you. Please tell me what he did to you." I wish I could be by her right. She looked up and wiped her eyes. I tried to give her a comforting smile. Seeing her like that broke my heart.

„At first he was really nice to me but a little into the relationship he changed and showed his true self." She paused and closed her eyes. „He...He would hit me when I did something he thought was wrong. He would always yell at me and call me names...." She paused again. "I'm sorry... I didn't-"

I cut her off.

"Don't be sorry! This little rat! I wanna kill him!" I was so angry right now. I looked back at my phone and saw that y/n sat there crying hugging a pillow.

"Y/n I'm so sorry you had to go thought this all. Is there anything I can do to help you?"

Y/n looked up.

„I don't know... Wil i'm so scared that he'll find out were I live..." She said looking truly terrified.

I didn't even think about what I was about to say. „You should come to me!" She looked a bit surprised. "I-mean if that would make you feel safer." She stopped to look at me for a second before she said something.

"If that would be okay for you....I don't want to be a burden."

"Of course it's okay for me. I mean we wanted to meet anyway. Also I don't like seeing you so upset and we don't live far apart from each other."

I smiled and she smiled back.

„Thank you so much Wil!"

„Of course. I could be at your house in an hour or so-„

She cut me off.

„I really appreciate you wanting me to be safe but I don't want you to drive this late!" 

„Yeah you're properly right..." She giggled a bit. I was happy that she wasn't crying anymore. I just looked at her for a moment. Again there was this non weird silence between us until she yawned.

„You're tied?" I asked while also yawning. She just nodded.

„Then you should sleep... And you can call me back tomorrow when- „

She cut me off again. Kinda rude but it's her so I'll let it pass.

„Could... Could you please stay on..."

„Sure... Anything to make Miss. y/n feel better." She giggled and I smiled. It made me so happy that I could help her feel better.

„Thank you so much Wil..." She said while drifting off to sleep.

I watched her to see that she was fully asleep. Not gonna lie, she looked really cute.

When I was sure that she was fully sleeping I fell asleep as well. I was a little nervous to met her but I'm sure we'll have a good time.
