I wake up to see Batman freaking out for Gordon to grab him and hold him against the metal cell wall, my head throbbed so I stayed sat down as my head and the world spun around me.

Gordon and Bat talked for moment then the flock of police officers left the cell and slammed the metal door closed, the sound echoed in my head a few times causing me pain as I was most likely still recovering from the bomb.

Gordon let go of Batman and he turns to see me awake and walks over to me, I felt like a literal ghost and I heard the name 'ghost' so I looked up to see Bat and smiled.

I couldn't hear a word that he was saying to me and I think he soon realised it as I saw Gordon look over at me concerned, I felt like I was floating in a way and it made me feel overly happy in a way whilst I was dazed and out of it which worried Bat.

He picked me up and walked over to Gordon and they started whispering to each other and looking as if they were arguing, before I knew it Bat had punched Gordon so hard in the nose that he fell to the floor and then swung me over his shoulder and started running.

Bat ran out of the main doors and slung me onto his bike in front of him as he quickly turned on the bike and drove off with the police trying to follow us, Bat made sure to hold me close so if I passed out I wouldn't cause the bike to swerve.

I passed out before we got into the cave and could take my suit off but I felt Bruce only grip me tighter as I fell limp.

I wake up in my bedroom without my suit on and my phone next to me on the bedside table, my curtains were closed so I picked up my phone to see it was nearly 1AM and had missed calls and lots of messages from Ed.

I didn't think and called Ed back, I was still pulling myself together.

"Y/N, are you okay?" Ed asked, he had concern in his voice.

I rubbed my eyes and took a moment to process what he said.

"Yeah I'm fine, I just saw the missed calls and wanted to know what was wrong," I respond.

Ed lets out a sigh and I could hear his glasses make a clink nose from him rubbing the bridge of his nose, I had woken up but I was still dazed.

"The funeral, the Riddler caused an attack there," Ed sighs.

"Oh, Bruce and I rushed home not longer after Colson got out of the car," I shrugged.

Ed talked to me on the phone for a little longer until he said he had to go, I wished him a goodnight and he wished me a goodnight too before ending the call.

I soon went back to sleep as my body was exhausted again, I laid down forgetting I had the phone in my hand and fell asleep seconds later.

I wake up and check the time on my phone to see its 10AM and sit up, I felt better and wanted to jump back to working as Ghost so I walked downstairs without being dazed.

It felt better not being feeling like the world was spinning constantly whilst also feeling as if you were floating on clouds, I walked into the kitchen and made a hot chocolate then stood by the window that overlooked Gotham again.

I take my phone out of my pocket to see I have a message from Edward again and open it, he had invited me to a coffee again and I accepted his offer knowing that Batman wouldn't do anything during the day and Bruce could always call me.

"I'll be there in 10 minutes," I messaged Ed.

I walk upstairs and change into one of my mother's dresses, my mother seemed to love pale colours like I did which made me smile as it was often off-white like Ghost.

I walked back downstairs and Bruce saw me walk into the garage, I grab my keys and he walked into the garage and looked at me confused.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

I turn my key causing the engine to start and the motorbike to rev for a moment, I smiled hearing my motorbike and then looked up at Bruce.

"I'm going to meet an old friend," I shrugged.

Before Bruce could say another word, I drove out of the garage and he was stood there speechless as I drove out of the gates towards Gotham city.

Don't get me wrong, I was more than certain I had developed feelings for Bruce at this point but I had missed my best friend Ed and I hadn't seen him in so long whilst Bruce had the ability to just show up and people would talk to him.

Maybe I was a little jealous of Bruce's life.

I arrived at the café Ed had told me to meet him at and I placed my helmet on the bike and took the key out and looked through the window to see him smile and wave at me, I smile and wave back then walk into the café and realised how empty it was.

I sat next to Riddler on a high-stool and ordered a coffee and when Ed offered to pay for it I said it was fine and payed it myself, he smiled at me and I looked at his coffee to see it has a question mark on it.

"Oh ignore my coffee, I got bored and decided to mess around," Ed shrugged.

I nodded my head and smiled, Ed and I sat talking when I feel my phone buzz from a text and picked my phone up only for him to snatch it out of my hands.

"Ed, I need my phone," I sigh.

Ed gives me a creepy smile and I feel my heart drop in a way, my anxiety shot up and I suddenly felt like I wasn't safe any more.

"Bruce messaged you, it's not THE Bruce Wayne you were seen with at the funeral was it?" Ed asked with jealously in his voice, it was mostly anger that was present.

I attempt to snatch my phone back but he just moves it so I don't catch it, he unlocks my phone and opens my messages and I try to snatch it back again.

"Ed, seriously stop!" I shout at him.

He presses send on the message he had typed.

"Oops," He shrugged.

He puts my phone on the counter and I quickly snatch it back and turn on my phone for Bruce to start calling me, Ed must of typed something bad for Bruce to call this quickly.

I stepped outside leaving my coffee and leaned against the window, I then answered the call.

"Y/N, drive home now," Bruce demanded in a panicked voice.

Why was he so worried? What could Ed possibly of wrote for Bruce to sound like I was about to die?

"What? Ok I'll grab my things-" I say but he cuts me off.

"Don't grab anything, head straight back to the manor," Bruce was on the verge of shouting.

"Okay, fine," I sigh.

Bruce ended the call and I look through the window to see that Edward was watching me, I wave goodbye to him and he waves back and I turn around and pick up my helmet to hear the café door open and assumed Ed was going home too.

I picked up my helmet and turned around to ask Ed if he wanted a ride to be hit across the head with something metallic, I fell to the floor and realised my phone had called Bruce again due to how sensitive to touch it was.

My world spun as I saw Ed pull out duct tape and cut it to only put tape on my mouth.

"Y/N? Are you okay, why did you call me?" I heard Bruce answer on the phone.

Ed rolled his eyes and put on a mask that re-verbed his voice.

"Don't worry, I won't hurt 'em," He said.

He ended the call and took the mask off then knocked me out cold with a punch to the face.
