"You guys can't live in the forbidden cities." Alden finished

"In the what?" Madison said

"The forbidden cities are human cities sorry if you did not get that the first time I thought FItz had explained that to you." Alden explained

I processed this and when i realized what he meant I started to cry Madison saw and hugged me

"It will be okay if we still have each other.' Madison said but it felt like she was also trying to convince herself.

Madison turned back to Alden "Is there anything we could do for that not to happen."

Alden shook his head "no i sorry i did everything in my power to find another choice but the council has ordered that you move here immediately."

"Will we be able to visit them?" I asked on the verge of tears

"Unfortunately no i'm sorry but as far as they will know you both will have died." Alden explained

My thoughts wander through how life would be for my family. I felt weak, scared. My face must have reflected that because when Madison turned to face me "Is there any other way like is there a way that they could forget about us."

Alden thought about it for a few moments "I suppose it is possible but are you sure because we will have to move them all together they will lose friends and family."

Madison and I nodded. This would be better than thinking that their daughters died at least they won't have to deal with that. Alden seems to understand

"Can we say goodbye" I asked

Alden nodded "I can get you 20 minutes to say goodbye before I tell the council the change of plans."

Alden told FItz the plan. It took around 10 minutes to get everything ready. When everything was ready we met right outside the house. We took one last look at the gleaming house before the light pulled us away.
