History: The clan is one of the oldest clans of Sancho no mura, a village located in the north of Mizu between two mountains (hence the name "mountain peak village"). Due to the cold climate, the clan is used to surviving harsh winters from an early age. During the Third Shinobi War, although it wasn't a shinobi village, the clan was allied with Konoha for providing resources like minerals and stuff. During the war, the village was burned to the ground by enemy forces, killing off almost everyone. By the time help arrived from Konoha, not many people were left. Over time, most of the survivors committed suicide due to the depression and only three survived from the clan and its relatives, only because they were too little to do something like that. The three were brought to Konoha as the Hokage thought that it was the least he could do for the village.

Wow, this is amazing. It's so unique.

Kekkei Genkai:

The clan's kekkei genkai is Shadows. Unlike the Nara clan, they cannot manipulate shadows. Shadows are powers inside a person that manifest the wilder's shadow into powerful corporeal creatures. People who wield these shadows are called Shadow Wielders. These shadows have their own individual character and personalities of their own that are completely distinct from its user although the form depends on the user. 

I would rename it something other than shadows. Instead of Shadows maybe their called Akiyama monsters or Akiyama beasts but something other than shadows.

Shadows grant their wielders immense strength, such as the ability to use jutsus and attack with strength beyond that of a normal ninja. Shadows can also use extremely powerful attacks, known as Corporeal attacks. During this phase, a shadow temporarily becomes a real creature. This attack is more powerful than any other attack used by shadows.Shadows can only be awakened in dire situations. However, the shadows may or may not listen to their owners. Usually, its the latter. There is a certain requirement for the owners to have before the shadow acknowledges them. This requirement is different for each shadow, depending on their personality.

It takes a great deal of chakra for a shadow to appear if it isn't willing to listen. Even with the cooperation of the shadow, the wielder can only make it appear for so long. It takes exceptional chakra control and mental strength to control a shadow for the first time or without its will. However, when a shadow is willing to work with its wielder, it isn't necessary for them to have great chakra control.

Oh ok, so they truly have to work hard for them. Cool.

A shadow and its wielder are deeply connected. They are able to have mental conversations and sense each others emotions. Any damage a shadow may take is transferred to its owner and vice versa. If a shadow is killed, so is the wielder. However, a shadow disappears after taking a certain degree of damage, usually due to the person's fatigue, so any killing blow has to be powerful and really quick.

Cool

On average, a shadow is at least twice as big as its wielder, giving the opponent a bigger target to hit. However, it also provides the wielder with a great deal of strength, speed and everything. Controlled shadows generally have as much power as their wielder allows them.
Shadows are often considered as companions and friends and even family by some. They provide the wielder with a sort of camaraderie. Depending on the situation, they may or may not even provide a user with advice.
Maintaining a shadow during battle takes immense mental strength and self-awareness, since an attack can come from any direction directly at the wielder. A wielder can't always depend on the shadow for protection, especially when against multiple enemies since a shadow can only be in one place at a time.

No it's really cool, in fact, I like it personally. The thing I would say is to switch the name.

Common Traits:

- Appearance: In terms of appearance, the Akiyama clan members have a pale skin tone that plain out refuses to gain some color. They usually have bony joints, although it isn't very noticeable until you get his by it. The main branch members have aqua blue eyes and a hair color which seems like a mixture of brown and silver. This, however, can change depending on marriage with other clans.

- Personality: In terms of personality, most of the direct members are prideful and critical of others. They are generally observant and tend to hate stating the obvious. While most traits vary from person to person, each member is noted to have some common traits. They have a certain unhealthy obsession with power. However, contrary to the popular opinion, they don't want power for the sake of power. They want power to understand it.

Are you sure you want to give the clan a personality? Everyone is differently, nobody from the same family is exactly a like or else the clan would just be a normal joe.

Summoning Pact: The direct descendants of the main family (even if they have changed their names or are also related to come other clan) can summon Arctic Foxes as long as they have signed the...contract (?) This is said to be because of the origin place of the clan, the snowy mountains which were a home to arctic foxes.

This is very cool, and it gives a advantage to the ones with the true blood. Awesome.

Main Elements: Most of the clan members have an affinity for wind and lightning.

Final Analysis- This Clan is really good and don't have anything wrong with it. The only thing I recommend is changing the names of the shadows to something else. Other than that this Clan is really good. Thank you for letting me review it, it was a honor.
