Genre : Naruto Roleplay / Fanfiction ( might become one , I don't know yet ) , partially for fun. My third time submitting , by the way . Sorry , can't stop , this is just too good . This time I actually took my time to think through my oc .

You always have good OCs so I can't wait for this one.

First Name : Tamashi ( 魂 , meaning ' soul ' , direct defenition ) .
I was aiming for a name with a deep meaning .

Personality : Shurui appears to be a kind boy with a heart of gold , and doesn't believe that fights are the solution of a problem , despite his profession . He's a soft spoken male , apologizes for nearly everything , and gives off the innocent vibe , though his personality isn't approved by many because of his career as a shinobi , believing Shurui should be more emotionally hardened . The red head believes otherwise , and strives to make his mother proud , make use to his village and protect people dear to him . He is determined to become someone great , make a name for himself in spite to his civilian background . Though Shurui tends to get side tracked a lot , and honestly cares more for other people rather than himself . He doesn't get discouraged easily , hence , he came so far . The male loves to make / see people happy , especially if he's the reason for that .

This is really cool, his personality is great and goes together nicely. The traits he has are perfect.

Ok

Battle : Shurui relies mostly on his genjutsu , because of his small chakra reserves ( civilian family , no ninja aside from him ) , it's easier for him to control his chakra , though takes time and practise . Shurui loves spacing out , tapping into his reserves and pushing his limits . He is a curious boy , wondering what would happen had he bent his chakra that way , or molded that , etc . Thus , genjutsu came as second nature , because Shurui found himself enjoying in layering his chakra carefully , and grows excited whenever he feels drousy from chakra overuse because he felt improvement .

It's great that he's curious because it would make him want to explore his loves more and let him possibly unlock a hidden power.

While he has a rather strong built , the height and the muscle , Shurui doesn't exactly excel in taijutsu , though he is rather fast at his feet . He can induce his speed with chakra , though doesn't need that because the red head is fast enough on his own , out running both his teammates during genin days .

This is really interesting, such as those characters that are big bulky but are shy and scared easily. Awesome.

Ninjutsu comes hard to Shurui . His elements are water and wind , something unusual because civilian borns usually have only one , but Shurui was made to become someone great . Sadly , the male's jutsu arsenal is rather limited , he doesn't have enough chakra to complete more than a couple jutsu during a battle , though he doesn't let that discourage him . He expands his reserves by meditating , and has gone far , so his reserves are matched with a regular , clan child , something even Senju Tsunade noted to be prodigious .
Shurui does use a custom weapon , Kusarigama , a weapon that has a sickle and a weight and looks very complex . The chain expands at the will of his chakra , something he finds to be rather easy because of his control , making it a mid to long distance weapon , which makes things even better because close combat was never his style.

This is really good. His chakra chain is also interesting because now his chakra can determine a battle.

Appearance :
[ Part I , 12 - 13 years old ]
Shurui stands at five feet , has a pale complexion and a rather strong built , despite his young age . He has roundish , emerald green eyes with thick red lashes and a beaty mark adorning the pale skin under the corner of his left eye . He has fiery red hair , and could easily be mistaken for an Uzumaki . It's straight , but kept short , and the right side of his face ( including his eye ) is covered by his red hair completely .

Shurui wears a sleeveless pale red kimono top with dark greed edges , held together by a pastel green obi . It hangs loosely on his body , exposing his chest that is covered by a mesh shirt , right sleeve missing and the left ending mid arm , with his hitai-ate tied just at the end of the fishnet sleeve . On his right arm he wears a fishnet armwarmer ( idk if that makes sense , kinda hard to explain ) , starting mid arm and ending mid forearm . He wears black baggy pants which are tucked in at the end into his dark green boots , going up mid calf .

A necklace from his mother , a single crystal is hanging visibly around his neck . Many noted that he looked like a melon in his outfit .

On his off days , Shurui would wear a plain green shirt with a pair of black shorts that ended just above his knees , and plain navy blue shinobi sandals .[ Part II , 16 - 18 years old ]
Shurui grew taller , now standing at 5'7 , and his body developed more , attracting the attention of girls who had previously called him ' girly looking ' in his genin days . He never seemed to tan , still pale but not in an unhealthy way , and his red hair grew out , now sweeping past his shoulder blades . He keeps his straight hair in a low ponytail , and a large bang still covers the right side of his face . Shurui's eyes became more narrowed , and premature wrinkles rested on the inner corner of his eyes . All in all , he looked like a snacc .

Shurui would usually be seen in standard Chuunin / Jonin uniform , which consisted of a green flak jacket , dark blue pants and a dark turtleneck shirt with long sleeve that he kept rolled up . He also chose fingerless gloves and standard blue shinobi sandals , and his necklace is tucked into his turtleneck .

Off duty Shurui is seen wearing a sleeveless turtleneck green shirt with red designs that hugs his well toned body and regular comfortable black baggy pants , a long with shinobi sandals . Many girls noted that he grew up to be handsome , though for a certain period of time they had no idea what his sexual orientation might be .[ Boruto , 32 years old ]

Now Shurui is standing at 6 feet , and that seemed to be the end of his growing . He is the tallest out of his teammates , which wasn't surprising . Nothing much changed , aside from the wrinkles in the inner corner of his eyes deepening , and a scar rested across his left cheek , right under his beauty mark . The males bright red hair now swept just past his elbows , and his hairstyle didn't change at all aside from the three clips pinning the left side of his hair back , and the right side of Shurui's face was still covered . Many noted that it might have been uncomfortable for the male to wear it like that , and commented that it might do something to his eyesight and affect his battles , but he could very well fight like that .

The real reason his right eye is covered was because of a childhood incident that left his right eye blind . Only a couple people know , including Shurui's team and a couple of friends .
He wears standard uniform , as is required , but his vest is now different because of the change of uniform in Konoha .

Off duty he's usually seen in random clothing , comfortable as well , such as sweatpants and hoodies , now that they finally existed in Boruto .

This goes for all the clothing. It's really good and the off duty close goes great with his personality. All the outfits go great and identifies him.

Past : Shurui was born in Kusagakure , father being a Kusa merchant and mother a famous actress all around the five shinobi nations , as well as a part time model . At just twenty Manami had her first child , and after the affair Yuuma had with another woman a while after Genkai was born and Manami was away on a trip to Suna ( for work ) , she found out , and left the man , taking her two kids . They stayed in Kusa for a while , with Yuuma visiting his children once in a while , and once Shurui was five years old , they moved back to Konoha , their mothers birth village . They resided in her late parents house , and all was going well until financial problems kicked in . Manami had to quit her job to take care of her kids , and Shurui was determined to help her out . Thus , he was set on becoming a shinobi . Making a name for himself and earning enough money to support his family was a life time goal for little Shurui , so he talked to his mother .

While at first Manami was against his choice , she eventually gave in , and gathered everything she had to send her kid to the academy , creating even more problems but Manami would do anything for her child . The woman had to constantly borrow money , and was in debt to nearly all of her friends there , which wasn't for long .

Shurui graduated the academy and was placed on team 6 , along with Uchiha Aijin , his crushes sister , and Hyuuga Eiiji , from branch house . Both were , above all , clan kids , and Shurui felt uncomfortable being in the same team with them because he felt as though he was weak , a burden , but they grew together .

Initially , their team was a mistake made by the Hokage , the three were supposed to end up on different teams because of their abilities , they just didn't compliment each other .
Still , they worked out , and knew each other like the back of their hand . The money Shurui brought back home went straight to his mother , but despite that , Manami was still a but unsure in the ninja path her first son took , and would still be glad if he decided to quit . She was a mother , above all , and was worried sick for Shurui even if he was on D ranks .

After the mysterious disappearance if his female teammate , he became a bit sad , in which Eiiji did his best to cheer him up because they were going to find out what happened to Aijin any way possible .

The red head trained hard , and explored his sexuality further after the childish crush on his personal instructor , Aoba Yamashiro ( canon character ) , and found himself more attracted to the male gender rather than the female.

This past is nice and shows how he came to be and more. The time on each detail is great.

Relationship with characters :

( Hyuuga , Eiiji )
Shurui and Eiiji are best friends , know each other and can practically speak to each other without actually talking . They share a deep connection , and they were brought even closer on their journey to find their teammate , and in the end , the two end up getting together and adopting a son . Despite Eiiji being rude and somewhat cold , Shurui balanced it out , and the opposites attracted .

( Uchiha , Aijin )
His other teammate . Aijin was someone he cared for deeply , and got attached to rather easily in a short period of time . They have been on the same team for quiet a while before the Chuunin exam disaster , followed by the Uchiha's disappearance , but even over distance , Shurui still had faith that Aijin was alive . After a heartwarming reuniting of their disbanded team , the red head would never let go of his two best friends , for he was the glue to keep them together .

( Shiranui , Genma )
Shurui first thought very poorly of the man , though tried not to show it because that would be disrespectful and Shurui was known to be a polite young boy , just like his mother taught him . Though the man earned his respect , and they had a father - son like bond . Genma met Manami , his mother , when Shurui was fifteen , and things took a turn when they started dating . Genma became Shurui's adoptive father after a solid three years , along with Manami's husband .

( Uchiha , Sasuke )
Shurui was certain that this was just a short academy crush , and was right with that . Sasuke was good looking and all , but that's about all the boy liked about him in Part I . Although he was always a fanboy on the inside , he was just too shy and even scared to even talk to the male , and was a bit upset when Sasuke left for power , right after Aijin's disappearance . They saw each other quite often during his genin days because they often had their team gatherings at Aijin's place , and she lived with her twin at that time .

( Uzumaki , Naruto )
They were never good friends . Naruto's loud nature always scared Shurui off , and he would rather just observe the blonde grow than Interract with him . The red head honestly found Naruto's pranks on Iruka to be funny ( he kept quiet , of course ) , and was proud if his ex classmate once he finally became Hokage . Shurui served under Naruto , and the Uzumaki made him a team sensei , seeing all the needed attributes in the male .

( Haruno , Sakura )
Sakura was a friend of his . They weren't exactly besties , but both were close in their own ways . Sakura was one of the first people to find out about his sexual orientation , and was extremely supportive , something Shurui appreceated greatly . After Sasuke and Sakura got married , Shurui jokingly told her that he had a crush on her husband back in the academy , but Sakura with her short temper quickly jumped to conclusions and wasn't that happy . All worked out though , they are still good friends in Boruto .

( Shurui , Genkai )
Genkai looked up to his older brother , and strived to be more like Shurui . Though the older would always tell him that he would grow up to be his own person , not a copy of himself , to which Genkai was usually upset but as he grew , he understood more and more . He also became a shinobi , and skyrocketed through the ranks as a taijutsu prodigy , and Shurui was proud of his little brother accomplishing something he couldn't .

( Aoyama ( her original surname ) / Shurui ( ex husbands surname ) / Shiranui ( current surname , from Genma , Manami )
Shurui adores his mother a lot , and would do nearly anything to make the woman proud of him and his progress , though she already was. Manami never once doubted that Shurui would give up his job , but was still worrying all the time , but she was happy that her son made it this far . The woman was very accepting , with both his sexuality and choice of partner . She treated Eiiji like a son , and Aijin like a daughter . Her son's team were like her own and Genma's children in Boruto .

These relationships are great. I want to thank you for each of the characters that are involved with Shurui.

Other : Shurui may appear to be innocent , and more of the uke , but he's usually top in the bedroom . Eiiji appears to be calm , collected and cold , but is easily flustered and embarrassed , acting like a stoic tsundere , if that makes sense . Shurui , on the other hand , is a bit more quiet and laid back , as well as kind and shy , not to mention a lot taller than his husband , which is honestly adorable .

Oh so Shurui has a bit of a aggression side to his sex love. That's a interesting twist to his life.

Final Analysis- This OC is really good and I can clearly tell you worked hard and put thought in him. His life has twists and turns that kept me reading and not stop. His personality and appearance goes hand and hand and his past is well detailed. This OC gets a A+, thanks for letting me review your OC, it was a honor.
