Oh a step family. I wonder what happened.

Personality- Part 1: Seemingly a very shy girl. Not because she SHY but because she doesn’t know how to interact with other properly. Afraid of looking stupide she doesn’t speak up. But once you get to know her she a spitball of energy, Loves to climb and be around people. She very caring and empathetic to the point her grandmother killed a chicken and she cried for hours. She been called a cry baby or been told she pitiful. Dai dai very hopeful and is often day dreaming. But daydreaming makes her a bit of an air head. Seeing she rather be in her own world then the one she in. It hard for her to focus on anything for long, unless its drawing or reading. People tend to walk all over her due to her unwillingness to fight. She doesn’t like fighting, doesn’t like the idea of hurting someone, but often wishes the ones who bully her to get hurt. But in her group later on will realize its ok to fight for yourself, its ok to defend yourself, that its ok to cry and not to care what anyone els thinks. She bites her nails often dealing with stress, Dai dai is unable to speak back to her teenage brother or father. She doesn’t like to be call mouse, due to the fact her brother mocks her with that name often.

This is really good, her personality is detailed down to the micro bites.

Part 2: She isn’t afraid to be more out of her shell, very cheerful and bright. She still awkward sometimes but she only human. As she grew and stops becoming a door mate for other, she learns she has a sassy attitude and short fuse. Not caring if she hurt someone feeling like she did before. She still very empathic with others, stronger willed. She still a daydreamer, head in the clouds.

Nice so the years changed her a bit.

Appearance- Part 1: Dai dai has short curly bobbed hair. She wears her head banned on the top of her had. Keeping it nice and neat, also keeping the curls out of her eyes. She her wide circular eyes. With long dark lashes. Her eye color is a nice golden brown, while her hair is more of a reddish brown. Turning a brighter red in the summer and a darker brown in the winter (there an explanation why at the bottom). Her skin is a peachy cream color, she has red marks on her shoulders and arms where she been out in the sun too long, freckles are on her face and down her arms slightly. She has short nails due to the bad habit of biting them.

The nail biting is very relatable, however I'm gonna guess the hair change color due to melanin.

Part2: Dai dai hair has grown long, at least to her shoulders, it’s a bit distracting to keep down when she is fighting, so she will put it up in a messy pony tail. Leaving a long strand out on the side of her face. She grown taller of course, her chest size grew giving her sudden unwanted attention. Her clothing covers her body more. Seeing as boy’s started making her uncomfortable. She has some muscle on her now, which she is very proud of! Her skin is more tan as she older. Her nails are longer as she doesn’t bite them any more.

Nice that she changes a bit but not to much, she has a great appearance.

Past- Part 1: Dai dai family is very strict with her since she was small. Her family loved her, her whole clan did. But the duty of being so advanced and protectors lead them to be stand offish. Her family tells the same stories over and over. Of how they have all kind of chakra and Justus from different lands. At first, she was really proud of her family. Proud of what she was going to do. But then the kinds from the leaf village began to bully her. Not liking her for the fact of rumors that were spread about her family. Her father Eiichi not helping stop the rumors from spreading, made it worse. Kid would try to fight Dai dai, then mock her for running away. She tries and tell her dad about being picked on. He responds by making her training harder, longer. Pushing her till she cried and then pushed her some more. Her mother was from another clan. She married Eiichi for love. He was once a kind and doting father, but as soon as his father died and the responsibility of leading the clan fell to him. he became cruel and abusive. The stress of leading his clan became too much, but he was too prideful to give it away. Dai dai and her brother were never abused physically or mentally but their mother was. She had to ‘take on the responsibility as his wife.’ For his anger and stress. His child suffering from a sudden harsh, cold, and distant father. Dai dai doesn’t know for a long time about the abuse. Her mother doesn’t say anything to anyone, still very much in love with her husband, and the fact he give her apology gift for when he goes too far. Also, with the promise he’ll stop when being a leader gets easier.Dai dai fails the academy on purpose twice. Not wanting to be a ninja due to all the bullying, and every time she in class there always whispers of hate and mocking. Not to mention her shelter childhood make her awkward around people. But somehow her father paid off someone high up. Getting dai dai a private instructor and passing. She was going to just do the bare minim but the people she becomes friends with in her group have her come out of her shell slightly. Showing her true self. Dai dai doesn’t get along with her teenage brother due to his abusive words, But she doesn’t realize until way later her father is ten times harder on him then he ever was with her.

This is a pretty good past and very well detailed for a roleplay.

Part 2: Dai dai grew a whole lot as a person. She is now not a ninja for the family legacy but to protect the people and friends she come to love. Dai dai is a more outspoken girl, being herself even around strangers. Her whole being is brighter. Her mother left her father, dai dai helping her mother leave the family as well as doing the hard task of sending her father to jail. Her brother resents dai dai for sending their father to jail. Because their father was pitiful and seemed to truly want to start anew. Dai dai sent him to jail to get help as well. Therapy and counseling in hopes he can one day be the father she used to love. But her brother sees this as a shameful act on their family legacy. An uncle takes control of the family clan, slowly undoing the damage dai dai father caused. He went to jail for more then abuse. He blackmailed people, scammed people, threaten many and much more, her father couldn’t handle the power the clan name had, Abusing it in every way possible.Her mother remarried in the year of part two. To a kinder man who truly loved hanako and treater her the way she should be treated. Dai dai got two new sister and her mother became pregnant. Giving her a younger brother as well. She now lives with her mother, not wanting her mother to be alone and wanting to be in a place that wasn’t so toxic. She visit her dad once every two months to see if he’s gotten better….so far he hasn’t. If he keeps it up she will cut ties with him. Dai dai forgives her brother for being horrible while growing up. Now understanding he only did that to make himself feel better due to there father abusive words to him. But she doesn’t go out og her way to spend time with him… Battle: her chakra is dark lightning Dai dai jsutus are all on a jonin level due to her amount of chakra but she rather rely on her own strengths and abilities then learn from the leaders. So she may be on a jonin level but she uses a chuin or genin level abilites.

So that's what you mean by overpowered. I can see why but it's for a roleplay where different conditions can happen I don't think you should worry. If she was for a story I would definitely suggest changing her but sense it's for a roleplay and roleplays can change she's fine.

Other: dai dai two new friends in her team help her to grow. Very different people. One that pushes her sanity to the edge and she punches someone for the first time. And a caring friend who just want her to see dai dai can be more than a weapon of the leaf village. AS there story go on she find out more about herself. Her family has a strange trait. Where chakra grows more and more due to a exsaparement that happened long ago. Having so much chakra sometimes she uses it with out knowing, like sneezing fire or shocking someone. The leaf village now watches over the clan to make sure there safe. Not only that but if someone in the family seems to be turning to a terrisot the kill that member. There is a trial for them though. Its fair.

Fact: -Why her hair lighten and darken in the summer: The sun bleaches out the melanin (the pigment that gives your hair color), causing your hair to look lighter. Because you spend more time outdoors and the sun is out more frequently in the summer so when you spend less time outside or the sun doesn’t shine as bright it get darker.

Now I know what melanin is because I have it in my skin because I'm black but it doesn't just work on your hair. It would have to work everywhere including her eyes and her skin, so you should add that to her appearance like how her hair changes but the thing is, melanin doesn't change your hair color, it makes the current color later in darker in situations depending on the person. Trust me I wrote a 5 page essay on the study of melanin.

Dai dai was supposed to be a learning character. Someone that was in a tight spot and over comes it to be the person they want to be. Showing its not easy to leave or do something you have always known.

That's a great reason, she's someone people can look up to like the Lone Ranger.

Final Analysis- This OC is ready for a roleplay and has great aspects to boot. She has amazing detail and the effort spent on her is clearly shown. I would however add what I said about Melanin and if possible you should do a little more research on it so that if people try to prove you wrong you got the facts to make them quiver in their boots.
