That's great, it's good to see the birthday.

Life story: Mai wasn't born in the village hidden in the leaves. One early morning she was found at the village gates by the security detail and the recently retired Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi. She was swaddled inside a flower basket with a protective jutsu seal hanging over her head. There was no note of explanation from any parent, no indication of what clan she belonged to. All that accompanied her was a dented village headband that was too scratched beyond repair to identify. By order of the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, the baby was placed in the care of a young, newlywed couple who had both been a part of the Anbu Black Ops, but quit due to their engagement. They both decided to name their new child Mai, not out of laziness but rather the name stuck after they couldn't think of anything else to call her.

Nice, it's good to see that they put her with Anbu parents because they wouldn't know if she was dangerous or not. I also like how Mai is the name they stuck with because it stuck with them.

Two years later, after a resurgence of the investigation, it was discovered that Mai was in fact related to the main branch of a military clan in Kumogakure, the hidden mist village, known as the Chūjit-shi clan. However, due to opposition from the new head of the clan, as well as the guiding words of the reinstated Third Hokage, Mai was made to stay in the hidden leaf and let the branch family alone in this matter. And thus, she grew up as a leaf shinobi, and being proud of that fact, no matter in knowing her blood ties to the hidden mist.

Nice, it's good to know that she does find out where she is from but stays in leaf anyway. The way that she grew up in leaf makes it her home and who would want to leave that. Good job.

About her-

Personality: Mai was raised to be a rather quiet and observant child, always taking in what she saw, heard, and smelled at any given moment, the first ninja lesson that her foster parents had taught and stressed to her on a daily basis. This kind of lifestyle led to her becoming a prominent lead in the academy; specializing in arts such as deception, transformations, and reconnaissance.

Good job with making the way she grew up affect her in the future. It brings reality to the table because like any person your personality depends on the stuff you see, the things you are taught, the way people act around you and others, and how who you are around as you grow up.

Mai is an extremely cautious individual due to her lack of the adequate level of taijutsu that is present among her peers, making her more like a glass cannon all through the original series and a quarter of the way into Shippuden. This mindset has made her adopt the overzealous habit of practicing silent movement and information gathering, as well as trap laying for the purpose of forcing necessary defensive measures from enemies, all for the purpose of gathering information.

Beautiful, the way she stays in this mindset through most of the story in Naruto is great. Also cautious people will do anything to be safe so her setting traps is another form of defense.

Outside of combat she is a very approachable person, and rather patient with any hyperactive ninja that may cross her path. She will never try to interrupt a person's conversation and will give them as much time as they need to get their point and argument across. However, this doesn't mean that she won't completely destroy them with her calm, methodical speech. She is well read and does have a broad opinion on the world, and will often use her knowledge to rip apart any person's whole set of ideals and beliefs.

Nice, she has that kind of personality that you know you should be friends with this person or at least have them on your side. She gives off a calm and sophisticated aura about her that even though she may be in a argument and doesn't yell will still let everything out and make you see reality than what you believe. She is a realist at its finest and is perfect for the ninja world. A calm and collected mind that isn't rude but will get their point across.

In the same vain as not interrupting a conversation, she can't stand when other people interrupt her conversations. As such she'll usually resort to using her calm nature to put the intruder into an uncomfortable silence until she has finished.

Like I said a calm and collected person. Instead of getting mad and telling the person off she puts them in a awkward position where they have no choice but to be quiet. This is excellent.

Positive Habits:

1. She is patient, and therefore is given the privilege to mentor prospective genin from the Ninja Academy.

Good, patience is good to have in the naruto world and to be a ninja in general. In fact even in the real world you will need patience.

2. She is always eager to improve herself, and has focused a large part of her teens to honing her ninjutsu and taijutsu.

Good, those are the main things seen in Naruto when it comes to fighting. So getting those up would be the best option.

3. She is polite, taking her time to help any people of the village that comes across. She never expects anything, but knowing that she's trusted and relied upon is good enough for her.

Nice, she sounds calm and collected which are the ones who don't want a reward. The hyper ones usually want something.

4. She makes it essential that she and her teammates have a plan beforehand, and can work well enough together to achieve the goal of that plan. She is willing to listen to any concerns over her strategy, and on the same note she is not afraid to offer her two cents if she feels that someone else's plan is flawed.

Good job, the way she was raised and her personality works amazingly with this paragraph. She is a understandable person and has a great level of maturity.

Negative Habits:

1. She is very ignorant to using genjutsu, and prefers to skip training with it. She can break simple genjutsu, but using this style is almost foreign to her.

Nice, Genjutsu isn't a lot of people's cup of tea but the way she handles it is indeed negative. It brings character to her.

2. She's too reliant on a laid out plan, and will usually stear clear of abandoning it completely. This includes sometimes when her teammates break away from the strategy to go back for a comrade.

So she is the type to not break away. This is good because it again adds to her character that the mission has to be completed and that she won't even break away from it for a comrade.

3. She is a known snoop, even around the village. She doesn't use this knowledge for personal gain (most of the time), but rather she enjoys just being able to know what's going on in the village, even though everyone is against it.

Again it adds to her character. It is also a flaw because it's something that can and possibly have gotten her in trouble and make people dislike something about her. Good job.

Likes: Charred, grilled chicken; lemon fish fillets; chocolate milk; mint anything; writing short stories, mostly adventure with subtle romance; trying new recipes for lamb; caring for her cat, Kamu; swinging on her favorite dark green colored swing in the park she always went to as a kid; the "Dancing Dragon" movie series

All of this is good but what is the dancing dragon series? That's the only thing. It don't even need to be fixed just explained, you know, what is it?

Dislikes: Pot roast; spoilers of any kind about her favorite movie series "Dancing Dragon"; rude people; cauliflower; escort missions

Judging from her personality she would dislike all of this. For escort missions can go completely off the rails which would really make her angry.

Hobbies: Darts; bingo; hide and seek with Kiba and Akamaru; "patrolling" the village by leisurely walking the streets and stopping at restaurants and shops; stargazing; mapping by stars

I don't know if bingo is in the Naruto world. I know there is a bingo book in Naruto but it is truly possible to have Bingo in Naruto.

Fears: Being cornered; cicadas; bears; Orochimaru and his "scientists"; not being able to see; the thought of being useless

All of these would be her fears, especially the useless one from the way she grew up.

Strengths: strategically gifted; light on her feet; very fluent in reading lips and eye movements; photographic memory; varied ninjutsu techniques for a wide variety of situations; knowledgeable at trap laying.

Great strengths that all go with her story, her personality and is completely the same as how she is described. Good job not changing her.

Weaknesses:

• Lacking in both adequate taijutsu and genjutsu prowess during earlier years, and has never trained up her genjutsu naturally later in life

Good, it is good that her weakness in genjutsu stayed her weakness for years to come.

• She developed an addiction to her special chakra food pills, and as such suffered withdrawals that affected both her physical and mental states that still linger in the form of headaches and small seizures

Good, that is definitely a flaw and weakness that has great affect on her. The fact that her physical and mental power decrease because if this flaw and gives her side effects such as headaches and seizures adds to it. Good job.

Special powers: Fukumigan- a rather new dojutsu that allows the wielder to look through the eyes of another person, or multiple people. With enough training of this particular eye jutsu, one can also peer through the sight of the Byakugan and Sharingan.

Nice, it's a simple dojutsu that like all the others needs training to actually years to master. Good job.

Extras: During her later years she adopts a more carefree attitude, and has even become rather promiscuous and even pervy.

Oh so after a few years hormones catch up to her changing her a bit to be a little pervy? Good it brings the actual growing up process into consideration. Nice.

Dreams and Talents: Her most uniquely and infamously known talent is the ability to get away with using her eye during a card game.

A nice and comical talent. It brings some fun to the scene instead of just seriousness.

Ambition: To finally gain some closure about her past, and then become known as a renowned kunoichi!

A great dream for her and sounds like somethings she would want to do.

Name: Tornado Fist technique

Description: A concentrated punch of wind nature chakra that swirls around a person's fist and forearm at 200 mph, and hits with a force of 5 metric tons. Can cause major damage to user if overused, as the wind with start tearing the muscle and tissue of the arm.

Jutsu #2, nice. This jutsu I believe would be the only jutsu that she has that actually attacks people head on with her fists. The flaws in this jutsu is great and has real affects on her body. Good job.

Chūjit-shi- A large military clan that thrived during the fourth Mizukage, and was separated into two branch families. Mai's birth branch was the head branch, but said branch was betrayed by the side branch family during a battle with the Hidden Stone

Oh, nice history to this clan. It makes it more interesting on how they were separated into branches.

Village Clan status: Gyāto- Has gained notable fame by having produced a Kage, even if not related by blood.

I would again recommend a leader because of the 5 kages. However the leader could still meet with the Kages.

Chūjit-shi- The military clan now acts as a more reformed police force for the modernising Kirigakure.

Nice, a strong clan as well.

Description: Mai's Fukumigan is a true bloodline trait, yet she is the first to have it. Her father gained his eyes through human testing by one of Orochimaru's scientists. Her eye allows her to see through other's eyes, and she can see what they see. This allows her the ability to predict most attacks, though doesn't work too well on traps. Also, she is no good when fighting the blind.

For the Fukumigan, this is good and is different compared to other jutsus. It has uniqueness to it. I have yet to see a dojutsu like this and I have reviewed many OCs. Good job.

Nice, and the cloak idea to camouflage her is a great idea sense she is a ninja. Not to mention she doesn't have to waste Chakra.

Nice, so the headband was her mother's. That's cool.

I usually don't get a scent but that's cool. It just adds to her.
