Note: Suzuran's the first person in Konohagakure to have Wood style naturally since her great grandfather's time. In the fanfiction of the same name, I'm giving the explanation that Wood Style is a recessive bloodline trait that appears once every few generations. Hence why Hashirama was the only to have it among his siblings, and why none of his children or grandchildren (Suzuran's mother, her aunt and uncle) inherited it.

Well actually if we are being technical it's Yamato. Just because he didn't appear before the genin days doesn't mean he wasn't there so he would be the first. She would be the second.

Wait she is clearly older than Naruto and them and even more than Neji's team which is about an year older so how is she part of the rookie 12 and team 7? Did she fail twice? Apparently not if she was a chunin at 14 which is her age when she starts in the Naruto series.

Background: Suzuran is the great granddaughter of Hashirama Senju and Mito Uzumaki. Because Hashirama was the First Hokage of Konohagakure, Suzuran is called "Princess" (姫, Hime); a title she shares with Tsunade, her aunt. She was born in Konohagakure as the daughter to Ibiki Morino, the village's top interrogator and head of Konoha's Torture and Intelligence Force, and his wife, Natsumi Morino (neé Senju). Ibiki doted on Suzuran when she was very young because she was his only child; a fact his subordinates in TI found highly amusing considering the reputation he has and often time tease him for. After she graduated from the Konoha's Academy, Suzuran was teamed with Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki under the leadership of Raidō Namiashi. Suzuran knew Ino Yamanaka from childhood, before their enrollment in the academy, where she met the Yamanaka through their fathers respective jobs. Ibiki worked as head of TI and Inoichi was head of Analysis, and sometimes the two sectors in Konohagakure's Intelligence Division found themselves working together. This is how the two girls met. At the same time, it's through Ino that Suzuran met and later befriended Sakura Haruno, though the friendship didn't last. When Sakura chose to end her friendship with Ino in favor of chasing Sasuke; the most popular boy in their class, Suzuran felt angered on Ino's behalf and cut all ties with Sakura. This is the root of her frosty attitude towards Sakura in the early stages of their ninja career.

This doesn't make sense. Well it does but not the team parts. One if she graduated at 12 how is she on team 7 that's number one. Number 2 she met Ino and Sakura but they were both being stupid and ended their friendship over Sasuke. If you remember it clearly states that Ino found out that Sakura likes Sasuke and they had a talk that ended their friendship so they can both pursue Sasuke. It wasn't one or the other they both ended it so you can't just blame one. Next you're changing the story by kicking Sakura off the team what needs to be done is saying where she goes after this. You have to state where is she now if she's not on team 7 cause you are kicking off a main character that has Canon scenes that impacted the team and many things that happened in Naruto.

Suzuran discovered early on that she inherited Wood style; the coveted bloodline ability of Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage of Konohagakure. It was during her early days at the academy. Her class was outside and were instructed to demonstrate their ninjutsu know-how by creating clones with the clone technique taught at the academy. During her turn, Naruto, the village pariah and class clown, interrupted the lesson by attacking the clones Suzuran had made. He thought they were her and wanted to prove it. Angered, but not discouraged, Naruto charged at Suzuran with a kunai he snuck into class. It's at the last second, he found himself entangled and hanging by thin vines that erupted underneath him. At the time of the incident, Suzuran was six years old. The bloodline was dormant and only made active when she was in danger of being impaled.

What's the point of having her as a genin if she is just gonna be a lot stronger than Naruto and probably Sasuke anyway?

Personality: Suzuran is kind-hearted and brave, polite to others and considerate of her friends and family, wishing well for them and standing up for them when they need her. She is very fond of and holds great respect for Ibiki, and affectionately referred to him as 'Papa' when she was little. As she got older, Suzuran started to refer to Ibiki more respectfully as 'Father', and starting in Part 2, affectionately as 'Sir', when she's working at TI under him. Stemming from her upbringing, she is fully capable of turning cruel if the situation calls for it, or if someone - oftentimes Naruto - pushes her too far. When her anger is triggered, Suzuran's response varies based on the circumstances. This can range anywhere from striking the culprit to threatening them with death by summoning vines with sharpened ends. Milder cases will have Suzuran shun the person outright. While she has too much self respect to argue over Sasuke with the other girls, Suzuran is not above making her thoughts known on their behavior. It's her belief - stemming from her own upbringing - that ninja should conduct themselves properly, and arguing over who will get the boy isn't proper. Like Ibiki, Suzuran values knowledge and is well-read; her favorite subjects are strategy books, history, world culture and geography. When on missions, she serves as her team's source of information, providing them with what she knows about the area they are visiting; from culture to history, and everything in-between. Starting from graduation, Suzuran carries a bingo book that has up to date information on dangerous shinobi that turned their backs on their respective villages. This was given by her father in order to keep her well-informed and safe when outside of the village, but also with the understanding that she will not actively seek them out.
Suzuran is considered a traditional beauty, having inherited her mother, Natsumi's dark brown hair and crystal blue eyes. She is taller than most girls her age; standing at 5'4 and is slim. There's a running joke amongst members of TI where Ibiki's subordinates tease him about having such a gentle, good-looking daughter when he himself is so intimadating. Suzuran wears different outfits depending on the situation. When not on duty, she wears her hair in a half-do with the top part held back with a ribbon. Her favorite is dark red. The rest is allowed to hang loosely down her back with bangs to frame her face. This is accompanied with simple, conservative dresses in powder blues and pinks, and strappy sandals in earth tones. Sometime between part 1 and part 2, Suzuran got promoted to the rank of Chūnin, and works as a part-time interrogator under her father. At those times, she wears the outfit inclusive to those in the Intelligence Division; which is a grey two-piece suit. Suzuran switches the blue shinobi sandals for black, shin length ones. Her hair is held back in a full ponytail with a colorless elastic. When she first became a Genin, Suzuran wore a sleeveless purple dress with blue designs and dark shorts underneath, purple arm warmers and standard blue shinobi sandals. Like Ibiki, she wears her forehead protector like a bandanna, with her ponytail sticking out in the back.

Imagine being kind-hearted and losing it because the main character pushes you a little too far. Or ending a friendship. A kind person wouldn't do any of this but apparently she is. Not to mention they still Genin and she over here killing just cause of what? She loses her temper a little? And easily at that? Someone kind hearted and polite wouldn't do that. Many writers tend to make the backstory and the personality so different. You need to fix it, cause they sound like two different characters with the same name.

Abilities: Being a direct descendant to both the Senju and Uzumaki clans, Suzuran inherited their life force and physical energy, only further enhanced due to being a natural inheritor of Wood style. With Wood style, Suzuran's body is brimming with life energy, this very same energy that allows her to summon plants, trees and constructs of various sizes, is responsible for healing her body whenever she is injured; something already granted, though on a minor scale, due to her Uzumaki lineage. It is yet unknown if this regeneration factor is considered a kekkei genkai as part of having wood style. Those in the past who tried and successfully reproduced the kekkei genkai have also produced this very ability; so there is a possibility at least.

Why is she doubled powered by two clans. I forgot to mention this earlier but she doesn't need two clans. You don't see Naras and Hyuugas, Uchihas and Yamanakas so why is she a mix of two powerful clans. The only time this happens is in Boruto and that's because the creator put Naruto and Hinata together. She doesn't need all that power especially at a young age it's like she has all these abilities fresh from the academy.

= Ninjutsu = From early childhood, Suzuran possessed the ability to use Wood style, a combination of earth and water-natured chakra, creating wood and plants from the ground or her very being in various sizes and shapes that she manipulated to fit her purposes. Before it became known she had inherited this ability, the ability was exclusive to Hashirama Senju in his lifetime as none of his children or grandchildren (Tsunade, Nawaki and Natsumi) had the ability. Suzuran can completely change the landscape with her constructs. She also had more ingenious usages such as making spikes shoot out from a protective wood dome to discourage enemies from advancing further. Like Hashirama before her, she can make flowering trees whose pollen renders opponents unconscious, protective structures able to withstand Tailed Beast Balls, giant hands to apprehend large targets, as well as a giant humanoid creature able to clash with Madara's, and later, Sasuke's Complete Body — Susanoo. In the fanfic, her precision and dexterity with Wood style could wield and launch various weapons - hers or someone else's - from afar, allowing her to attack from multiple angles.Her usage of this ability has earned the attention and praise of many, even enemies that only ever heard of the ability and passed it off as fable. Prior to death and after giving her his sword, Zabuza Momochi dubbed Suzuran Konoha's 'Forest Demon' due to being impressed with her ability. One of her hobbies, or side job if you will, involves the use of Wood style. After starting to work at TI with Ibiki, Suzuran likes to create new ingenious devices to help her father out. One of her creations the Wood Style: Wooden Maiden is a modified version of Ibiki's Summoning: Iron Maiden, sharing characteristics with both it and Hashirama's Wood Dragon. Something she likes to do that inspires terror in both her enemies, as well as allies, is to use Deep Forest Emergence to create trees that can easily by hacked apart, and while the enemy has their guard dropped due to being too busy slashing away trees, they don't see the trees are dropping seeds. The seeds that land on the enemy sink under the skin, embedding themselves in their bones and when triggered, they sprout. This can result in death as a result of blood loss from the major arteries that have been torn. Suzuran will use this method to get compliance through fear, or if someone made the fatal mistake of underestimating her due to her gentle appearance. Something taught to her by Ibiki is to use what she has to her advantage. Suzuran lacks the looks that make her father so frightening, so she counts on her enemy to see an unassuming young girl, someone too pretty or sweet to be a kunoichi, and write her off as unthreatening. This proves to be their undoing.

Literally insane, so you saying while Sasuke was scared and talking about running away she was doing things that made Zubuza respect her like crazy and give her a deadly title. Not to mention even at the end, beauty and stuff is up to perspective. If that was the case than all of the girls would count on that which one is a double standard and two unrealistic. They are ninjas, killers, they will kill anyone if given the chance. Only a moron nowadays would judge someone based on age, gender, etc. Yet again she is also being crazy Overpowered. She basically has everything of Hashirama and nothing of her own.

Quotes: • (Suzuran in the beginning, when asked about her dreams:) "I just want to follow my own path, no matter where that may lead me. To be Hokage is a path that's already taken in my family; my great grandfather and great granduncle both have been Hokage, but that doesn't mean I have to be."
• (to Sasuke, prior to his defection from Konoha:) "You're right, I don't know what it's like to see my loved ones killed, but even if I did, I still wouldn't do what you are about to do. Orochimaru doesn't care about you! Hell, he doesn't even give two shits about your revenge. He only cares about one person and that's himself, Sasuke! And you want to go to him to avenge your family? THAT'S AN INSULT TO THEIR MEMORY AND ALL THEY STOOD FOR!!"
• (talking about Ibiki to her friends:) "All those scars on him just says to me that my Papa is strong, able to endure and has endured. You may find him scary, but deep down he's a big ole teddy bear. So, scars or no scars, he'll always be my Papa."
• (to Sasuke:) "For somebody to call himself genius and to come from such a genius family, you really are a fool, Sasuke!"
• (to Naruto after he pretended to lose balance during chakra training:) "If you ever pull a stunt like that, again, I will make you experience death for real!"
• (whenever Sasuke and Naruto start to argue/fight:) "Why, why did I have to be cursed with such idiot teammates??"
• (introducing herself to her team:) "Well, hello there, I am Suzuran Morino. I was named 'Suzuran' in the hopes I'd grow as beautiful and dangerous as the flower I was named after. I love to read, history and geography, and ... oh yeah, strategy books, are what I like reading. That and what else? Oh! I dislike peas and that green drink Papa insists on drinking every morning, but I love pork or any meat really."
• (written on the back of her test paper, directed at Ibiki:) "Top interrogator, my rear end. You've gone and lost your touch, Papa. "

This doesn't even sound like her. This sounds like it is coming from you. What you would say to the characters. You literally stated that she is friendly and polite but she is calling her teammates idiots? She's insulting Sasuke on a new level? She's yelling at him? There is a lot that is wrong with these quotes. You're even saying you will make Natuto experience death like what kind of warm hearted person says that to another. You can't even pass this off as joking these quotes sound like she's not kind or polite at all. If that's the case than just throw away the whole personality because it doesn't match at all. When people think nice and polite they think, sweet with quotes like "Let's all get along." Or "Are you ok? I was so worried about you." Or even "Sasuke, I can't imagine how you feel but as your teammate I'm here for you." These are nice and polite. Not "You really are a fool, Sasuke" say that to yourself and ask if that sounds nice and positive to you and you can ask anyone and it clearly doesn't. You need to fix these because how she is described and how she acts is completely different.

Trivia: • The name "Suzuran" literally means "Lily-of-the-Valley" (鈴蘭) a highly toxic woodland flowering plant that's native to Asia and Europe. It is also the name of a limited express train in Hokkaido, Japan. Her family name "Morino" means "of the forest" (森乃), so her full name in Japanese can be translated as "Lily-of-the-Valley in the forest" (鈴蘭の森乃, Mori no Suzuran)
• Suzuran was born March 3rd, exactly seventeen days before her father's birthday on March 20th, making them both Pisces.
• Her preferred dishes are those prepared by her mother, though deep fried pork cutlets and simmered onion on rice (katsudon) is her favorite. She dislikes aojiru and peas, and doesn't care much for anything sour.
• Suzuran doesn't wish to fight anyone, but she does want to see Aoi Rokushō; the man who disfigured Ibiki, dealt with.
• Her favorite words are 'Brave' (勇者, Yūsha), 'Loyal' (忠実な, Chūjitsuna), and 'True' (本当, Hontō).

She doesn't wish to fight but she becomes a ninja? Listen, just because she wants to see him dealt with doesn't mean she has to do it herself. What is not clicking? Why doesn't she want to fight now? Is it cause she's nice cause that's way out the window. You have her so Overpowered but she doesn't want to fight? That makes no sense, if that's the case why not try more than basic self defense? Answer these questions.

Final Analysis- This OC is suffering from the thing many OCs are suffering from and that is an act to description difference. She is described as nice and polite but hasn't done one nice or polite thing that entire time. She is described older but is someone on team 7, she became friends with Sakura but she dropped her fast as hell because of the whole Sasuke thing instead of being a good friend. Not to mention Sakura and Ino got rid of each other not just her getting rid of Ino. Plus Sakura used to be bullied and shit and called forehead, where was the nice girl than? Than you got her overpowered and we don't even see her really in shippuden with these abilities. She is getting nicknames from one of the deadliest people in Naruto when she is 12 or 14 or whatever age you were trying to make her. You gave her the whole if she is female they will go easy on her if she looks innocent and pretty but that's not the case. I can name a whole bunch of male characters from all types of anime that look harmless but you wouldn't want to mess with them. Her quotes are mean and crap to her teammates when she is supposed to be polite snd nice and none of them are like that besides the ones about herself. Not to mention there are so many different questions that need answering and changes that need to be made. She's also part of two clans that's insanely powerful and it makes no sense. She needs to be reread and needs a new outlook. She has tons of detail over 2,000 words of details which is amazing and incredible but the more you put in about her the less she made sense. I know you can fix her and help her evolve more cause she's not marysue but she has some issues and that's it. Small issues and confusing statements that need to be addressed. Now for some reason i couldn't get some of the information you sent me so I went back to it and wanted to till you what I thought. Real quick. Yes she is right fighting over a boy isn't proper. Her appearance along with the picture is good though saying she has traditional beauty is yet again up to perspective. The rest is ok but I'll have you look at that again.
