Clan Background: Saruwatari clan's share a common ancestor with the Senju and the Uzumaki clans. A long time before the first ninja villages appeared, Saruwatari clan spread fear and blood around the world. They were warmongers who used their kekkai genkai to obtain a great variety of powers on only one clan. The others ninja clans were scared by those "red-eyed monsters" and started to associate the Saruwatari with their cousins. Uchiha's used their familial link to discredit Senju's and Uzumaki's legitimity at potential head of state. So Senju's and Uzumaki's decided to make a difficult decision. If they wanted to bring peace to the world, they needed to get rid of these warmongers even if they were from the same bloodline. They allied with some others ninja clans and started a war against their cousins during the warring states period. The Saruwatari clan was genocided, only a few of them managed to escaped death by hiding in a country who will later found Takigakure. The honor of Uzumaki's and Senju's was established. With time Saruwatari's name was forgotten. The survivors manage to live in Taki since then.

This is really good, the past is greatly detailed.

Background:

Academy Years Tsubaki's parents lived in Takigakure. Harumi, Tsubaki's mom was a rich merchant's daughter. When she was young, she flee from an arranged wedding and hid in Takigakure. She later met Sekai who was the head doctor of the local hospital. With time, Harumi's dad's mercenarys managed to find her location. When Sekai heard about that rumor he decided to fleThe parents with the young Tsubaki moved to Sunagakure. Harumi opened a tailor shop and Sekai worked at the local hospital. Tsubaki grew up in Suna and barely remember about Taki. Her academy years were.. Not a great memory for her. Others kids liked to bully her because of her strange hair color. But one day, someone stood up for her, and that day she was not alone anymore. The kid who defend her against her bullies was a young lady named Temari. The two young girls quickly became friends, and Temari's protection stopped the bullying. The young Temari liked to spend time at Tsubaki's house. Since er mother's death, Temari's life wasn't joyfull anymore so she liked the family atmosphere at Saruwatari's house. Tsubaki never had other friends than her. Kids were scared of her because of her strange hair and eyes color. Her surname was "Red-Eyed Monster". Genin Years Tsubaki was teamed up with two boys : Shin Karasuma a specialist in sealing jutsus and Hayate Uzumaki who specialized in genjutsu. She was not very confident in herself so she copied Temari's style. Their sensei was the council member named Yûra. When she became a genin she already knew how to heal people but struggled to learn new things. Her two teammates were gifted and learned quickly. It didn't take them a long time to outshine the young girl. Tsubaki spent her free time to improve her medical skills. But it wasn't enough, she was still the weakest of her team. Shin even called her "useless" a multiple time. The young lady was a pretty good healer but she couldn't defend herself. Her lack of fighting skills was the cause of the fail of her team in their first attempt at the Chûnin Exam. Yûra decided to train specially Tsubaki. He gave her a katana and taught her how to use it. She was not very good at it but she had some offensive moves thanks to that. Chûnin Years At their second attempt, Tsubaki's team managed to get promoted. She started to become more confident and found her own style andand fashion sense. She worked hard her jutsu and managed to master the monter strength technique. Some people started to call her "The Next Tsunade" mainly due to her name which looked like the sannin's. At that time the sunajin council discovered Akatsuki. The sunajin council found out that the Akatsuki member named Kakuzu went from the same clan as his female student. He planned to use her as a spy in the organisation. The council first refused, saying that she was too young and inexperienced to be a spy. But Yûra didn't care, he decided to send Tsubaki as a spy without the council approval.Officially she was on a long-term mission in the capital. Yûra used his connections to introduce Tsubaki as a low price medic-mercenary. It took her months to be acknowledge enough for her medical skills to be noticed by Kakuzu. Rumors of a Kakuzu-like lady who suddenly appeared out of nowhere interested the nukenin. He managed to gather information about her and found her location. He attacked her in the middle of night and beat her easily. He seems to be interested to meet someone from his clan. He offered her to work for free for him as a medic in exchange of food and lodging. She accepted of course and start spying the organisation at the age of 13. She spied for Yûra until the age of 17. As a medic she managed to gather samples of bloond for some members of the organisation. She sent the samples and all the informations she knew to her sensei. He was the only one who knew about Tsubaki's mission. But her cover couldn't last four years and she was officialy "died in mission".During her long-term mission, she fell for the iwajin nukenin. He was the youngest of the organisation and started to work for Pain around the same time as Tsubaki. They quickly started a relationship which last until his death. During these years at his side she get fascinated by his view of true art. She loved him deeply. But one day her happy life shook. Akatsuki planned to attack the kazekage to extract Shukaku. She should have have warned Yûra. But she don't. The one who will attack the kazekage was her boyfriend. If she warned Yûra he would have been killed... She couldn't let it happen ! So she didn't say anything. Her lover returned wounded but alive. But her sensei didn't have his luck. Yûra was the only one who knew about Tsubaki's, if she returned to Suna she will be considered as a nukenin for faking her death. Suna's laws are more stringent than Konoha's. The ninja who are even suspected of breaking the laws are tagged as nukenin. Tsubaki's life collapsed. She lost her team, her only friend, her parents, her hometown in one strike. Fortunately she still had her man at her side. Not for too long.. He died some time after, killed by Sasuke Uchiha. She lost everything, everything that one day has count for her. She continued to work for Akatsuki until Nagato's death. Fourth Shinobi War After Nagato's death, Tsubaki didn't knew where to go. She couldn't return to Suna so where ? She decided to hide herself in the Country of the Earth. She wandered in the mountains for months. She discovered the giant spider Yatsukahagi. Hopefully for our Tsubaki, Yatsukahagi only accept female into her temple. Each male who try to enter the cave is instantly killed by Yatsukahagi's spiders. Tsubaki was all alone and lost : she decided to stay in the cave and to train with the giant spider. She wanted to let her entire life being her. Forget Suna, her friend, her family, everyone. But there was someone she could not forget. She couldn't get over the one she loved. Some days after Deidara's death she took a decision : she wanted to perpetuate her lovers's art. She wanted to think of him everyday, she wanted to have him besides her forever. She kept only one sample of blood, his blood. She injected the blood into her arm in hope than one day she will ba able to master her lovers'art.Post-War She spent around 5 years with the spiders. She was able to summon them after only two years of intensive training. But she didn't want to leave. Where could she go ? She didn't knew so she stay. She use her time to train herself, she learnt to use her new kekkai genkai. But it wasn't enough. She could use bakuton but she still wasn't able to perform explosive clay. There was a lot of bakuton users but only one Deidara. After these years in the mountains she realized that she couldn't learn more alone. So she left. She left her friends and get to deidara's old art. He once told her about that home lost in the mountains. She found the house untouched for years, since the owner left the place. It was painful for her. All in there remind her of her lover. She took with her the scrolls, the books, everything that can help her. She couldn't stay in that house, it was too painful for the heartbroken kunoichi. She left the Country of Earth and started to wander aimlessly. During these years she did research about tenseijutsu in hope than one day she ould ressurect her loved one. She was able to perform some tenseijutsu's techniques after some years. She also trained herself to perform explosive clay techniques. She spend more than ten years training herself only to remind her of the man she lovedAnd one day, when she traveled in the Country of Water she met her. Tsunade became a wanderer too, traveling around the world to help people thanks to her medical skills. She immediately liked Tsubaki. She was exactly like her when she was young. She was a young talented lady who lost everything. Tsunade knew better than anybody what the young lady felt. She started to be affectionate with her. Tsubaki was different from Shizune, Ino or even Sakura. Tsubaki didn't want more power to be liked, to be accepted... Tsubaki only wanted to get closer to her lover's memory. She learnt her lover's signature technique not for power but for remind him. Tsunade understand her very well. She took her under her wing. Tsubaki's loneliness started to fade besides Tsunade. She became her student and wander with her for years.

Amazing, every last detail is to the punch. It has everything I feel like I know the character inside and out from this. The way she meets the canon characters as well is really good.

Current Appearance:
Tsubaki hair are styled into two ponytails. She wears a fishnet jumpsuit under her clothes. Above it she wears a red split dress with one sleeve on the right side. Overall, this is very broad material which resembles bandages with a pattern on it similar to those of rose thorns. She also wear a grey chest armor over it. She used a purplethick rope as a belt. Her right arm is covered by a fingerless long black glove. She wears two different shoes. The right shoe is a healed black sandal with fishnet. She also have bandages and fishnet around that leg. The left one is a white heeled boots with leg protector. Even if she didn't really use it anymore she still carry Yûra's katana on her back.

Final Analysis- This OC is amazing, it has great detail and tells her perfectly. Even the clan has amazing detail and makes it all worth while. The only flaw I would say is that sense there are members of the clan alive it's not extinct. We use the word extinct when it's no longer alive, such as dinosaurs. But this clan isn't extinct but of on the brink of extinction. I would change it to the brink of extinction other than that this OC goes above and beyond my expectations.
