Name : Maylis Uzumaki. Maylis is actually not a Japanese name (wow shocker). Maylis is acually a name of a town in southern France. It might be derived from Occitan mair "mother" and French lys "lily". It also might be a combination of Marie and Lys.

I was about to say that it was a French name too lol but it's ok but there are english names in Naruto like Tobi.

A form of SMS : Maylis obtained a form of SMS which stands for smiling mask syndrome while she was still in the academy. Smiling mask syndrome is exactly how it sounds and isn't made up. It's a psychological disorder proposed by professor Makoto Natsume of Osaka Shoin Women's University, in which the subjects develops depression and physical illness as a result of prolonged, unnatural smiling. However, instead of developing depression, Maylis developed a nasty habit of smiling even when she's not happy or in pain.

Wow that is crazy I never even knew of something like that.

Personality : The death of Maylis's parents effected her even though she was very young when it happened. Plus, in the village she is surrounded by children that have parents. Maylis is stoic but not. Instead of a black face she is always happy and always has a smile on her face. She goofs off a lot as well and is bubbly.

This illness matches this so much. Great job man.

Main "ability" : Medical Ninjutsu. Because Maylis is an Uzumaki she has a considerable amount of chakra.

Great use

Other Abilities : Maylis is average for Genjutsu, Ninjutsu, and Taijutsu. However, while learning more about medical shinobis she took a liking to senbon.

Background : When Uzushiogure was, under attack? Maylis parents fled and lived on ranch in the land of fire. The ranch burnt down from unknown source. (Someone probably left a cigarette burning on the nightstand.) Because of the fire she obtained a fear of fire. (Ironic since she lives in the land of fire.) When she sees fire flash backs of the night that the ranch burnt down flashes in her mind. Occasionally she will suffer from a panic attack. Two Konoha shinobi that were coming back from a recently completed mission saw the smoke and came to her rescue. Maylis survived but obviously her parents did not. When she was found she was 2 years old. So she barely remembered what her parents looked like. Maylis spends the rest of her life living in Konoha and the first couple living in the orphanage until she is genin. She joins the academy at three years old, (I believe that is the starting age. I looked it up and that it what it said at least). She graduates with the rest of Konoha eleven (now twelve.)

Final Analysis- This OC is really good and had me cracking up. I don't know where her fear of squirrels came from but it's for sure unique. Honestly this OC gave me a good well needed laugh, you made a great OC. Thank you so much for letting me review your OC, it was an honor.
