Reese's POV:

"Mom, Lex, I need your help." I tell them as I walk into the kitchen. It was a couple weeks after the winter formal and a month before New Years. I ran a hand through my shorter hair and sigh.

About a couple days ago, I decided to cut my hair and dye it. I dyed it blonde and I honestly thing this suits me way more. I also like the short hair more. My hair is naturally curly so my hair was kinda and curly.
My hair reached down to a little below.

I loved my hair like this way more. It just felt more like me.

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately. Thinking about Maddy. I am finally ready to do it.

I was finally ready to ask out Maddy.

I really love her a lot and I know she loves me just as much. I think we are ready for a relationship.

"What's up honey?" She asked me with a raised eyebrow, looking away from the eggs she was making and facing me.

"What do you need Reese?" Lexi asked me as she was typing something on her computer at the kitchen island.

"I wanna ask Maddy to officially be my girlfriend. And I wanna do something really special. But I don't know what to do." I state while scratching my head and my mom and Lexi gasp and squeal.

"Oh my god. Finally you grew some fucking balls!" My mom yelled out with a cackle and Lexi smiles brightly and hugs me.

"It's about time!" Lexi said while laughing and pulling away from the hug.

"Yeah yeah yeah. But I really wanna do something special for her. I don't wanna do some stereotypical thing where I take her to dinner and ask her to be my girlfriend. I wanna do something unique." I said as I tap my chin and begin to think.

"Why don't you give her a special gift and inside the gift is a note that asks her to be your girlfriend?" Lexi asked with a smile and I shake my head.

"Too cheesy. I need something better." I say as I begin to bite my nails out of nervousness.

"Why don't you give her a pallet of makeup and ask her out?" My mom asks while sipping on some wine and I give her a "really" look.

"Mom no, that's so plain and boring." I answered as I shook my head and continued to think. Come on think, think Reese.

"I FUCKING GOT IT!!" I shouted out as I just came up with the best idea ever.

"What is it??" They both asked out of curiosity and excited. I smile as I begin to brag to them about my plan.

5 days later:

5 days, it took me 5 days to prepare for this plan. I look around my house and see how I decorated it. There were flowers and candles on the floor. More flowers than candles since we don't wanna burn the place down. There were roses and pink daisies all over the floor. The only place on the floor where you could see the floor was the path leading up to the front door. And the path leading to the backyard. There were light purple streamers everywhere. I chose that color because it's Maddy's favorite.

I told Maddy that Cassie was coming over to pick her up. She thinks she's coming to our house for a dinner or something but it's actually
Everyone was standing in their places and everything was perfect. I look at the work me and my friends did and smile at our hard work.

I got literally all my friends to help me out with this. My mom, Ash, Fez, Rue, Kat, Jules, Lexi, BB and even Cassie. Cassie was in shock when she found out me and Maddy were talking and were on the verge of dating.

I was confused as to how she was shocked. Like Kat said, there has been sexual tension between us for years and anyone would can't see it is an idiot.

No offense Cassie.

But seriously I'm still wondering how she didn't know we obviously liked each other. But still, she helped me out with this and I am so grateful for her.

"You ready for this?" My mom asked as she adjusted my collar and fixed the bottom of my shirt.

"Yeah, I'm really asking her out." I say as I take a deep breath in and let out a sigh. "You got this." I whisper to myself as I cross my fingers, close my eyes and pray she'll say yes. I uncross them and look back at my mom.

"She's gonna say yes. I know she will." My mom tells me as she gives me a hug and I nod.

"Okay, I'm gonna go to Maddy and take her on the little journey." Cassie tells me and I nod as she gives me a hug and I hug her back. Cassie going to Maddy is all apart of my best date proposal ever. I walk to the place I need to be and take another deep breath in.

Maddy's POV:

Reese told me to get ready because she had a surprise for me. I literally love surprises from her so I am so excited to see what this is. I wore my outfit on the she bought for me, some white flats to match and white dice earrings.

I put on some lip gloss and rub my lips together. I gently touch up my hair as I look at myself in the mirror. I had my hair up in a high ponytail with four strands of hair out in the front, two on the side and two in the very front center of my head.

I smile at myself and take a few pictures.

I go to leave my room to go to the surprise then I remember...

"Where the fuck am I going? I don't even know where I'm supposed to be going." I say while shaking my head and sighing at how dumb I just was.

I feel my phone buzz on my vanity and I walk over to it. I pick it up and see that it's a message from Reese.

Reesey Baby❤️💋: Hey love, I know your eager to know what the surprise is. I can't wait to show you what it is. I think you'll love it. Your going to be finding a few notes. It's like a mini quest. Cassie will be arriving at your house shortly to make sure you don't get lost. Stick with her and I cannot wait to see you.

I read the text and a big smile graces my lips. A quest?? What the fuck does she have up her sleeve?

Just then I hear the door unlock.

"Cassie!" I yell out as I open up my door.

"Yeah it's me!" She yelled back and I hear her footsteps come up the stairs. She comes towards my room and gives me a hug.

"You excited??" She asked with a squeal and I nod while getting excited too.

"I need to know what she's planning! Like I'm so excited!" I say while slightly jumping around and looking at the text again.

"Oh your gonna love what she's planning." Cassie states with a smirk and this just makes me wanna know even more.

"But how am I supposed to find the first note?" I asked her with confusion on my face.

Coincidentally, I just received a message from Reese.

Reesey Baby❤️💋: To find the first note, look on the vanity mirror where when we were 8, you always used to put makeup on me even though I was annoyed with it and you know I hated it, but since it was you, I allowed you to do it.

I read the text allowed and I chuckle and awe at that memory.

"Oh my god I literally love this memory. She fucking hated makeup but would always allow me to do her makeup." I say while holding my hand over my heart and I go back over to my vanity mirror. I begin looking for the note, moving anything in my way to the side.

"Yeah she wouldn't even let me do her makeup." Cassie states with a chuckle and I laugh because it's true.

I continue to scramble for the note, slightly struggling to find it. I eventually see it stuffed between the side cracks in my mirror and I smile and take it out.

Hey love,

You found note 1!! There are a total of three notes you need to find, and you need to go to three different places to find each one. Here are some clues to help you find the next note. It's outside, in a place where kids play, and it's where we first met.  The note is in the exact place we first met love. Where we first laid eyes on each other. Where we first knew we would be in each other's lives forever.

I read the note aloud and I didn't even have to think about this. I knew where we first met by heart.

"On the playground in the sandbox!" I yell out as I rush out my room and I hear Cassie giggle behind me. We leave the house and drive over to the park quickly.

10 minutes later:

We arrive at the park and I literally rushed out the car and walked over to the sandbox.

"Geez Maddy at least wait for me!" I hear Cassie yell behind me but I ignore her and stop in front of the sandbox.

"Shit she put the note in the middle of the sandbox." I said while pointing to it and I don't wanna go in the sandbox because I don't wanna ruin my outfit.

"Did you text you or say anything of how you can get it out without going inside it?" Cassie asked me while looking at me and I open my phone.

As if her timing couldn't be any better, Reese texts me.

"Does she just like know when I'm struggling and texts me?" I say with a chuckle and Cassie innocently shrugs.

I open the text up and read it aloud.

Reesey Baby❤️💋: I know you don't wanna get in the sandbox for the note because you don't wanna ruin your dress, so i left a long claw toy grabber next to the slide.

Cassie and I walk over to the slide that is right next to the sandbox. I pick up the toy grabber and walk back over to the sandbox.

I bend my knees a little and use it to grab the note. Once I successfully grab the note, I bring the claw toy grabber over to me. I take the note and toss the grabber in the sand.

I open the note up and read it.

Second note! Just one more then you get to see your surprise love. Let's go back to just a couple months ago when we had our first kiss. It was in a very high place, under the stars and it looked so magical. It was right, the moment felt so right and beautiful for our first kiss. And it was. It really was.

"The Ferris wheel from the fair!" I yell out and Cassie and I jog back to the car and go to the fair.

20 minutes later:

Cassie and I walk inside the fair that's very active.

"Oh god." Cassie said while looking around the place with wide eyes as we are walking through it.

"Okay I think we should go over to the Ferris wheel. I think I can find this note on my own." I inform her confidently and she nods.

"The Ferris wheel we kissed on was the one by the pretzel stand." I tell Cassie while pointing to it and we move past people as we walk to the Ferris wheel.

"What if she gave the note to the guy?" Cassie asked me while pointing to the guy working the Ferris wheel and I look up at her.

"I doubt it but let's try." I respond and Cassie nods her head with a grin. We walk over to the guy and I speak up.

"Excuse me, do you have any notes?" I asked him with a raised eyebrow and he looks around before looking back at me.

"Are you Maddy Perez?" He asked me in a whisper and I nod my head. "This is for you from Reese Howard." He tells me while still whispering and I have no idea while he's whispering but I don't really care.

"What's it say?" Cassie asked as we walked away from it and I begin to read it out loud.

Your at your third and final note. Congrats. Now your getting your surprise. Are you excited? I know I am. I'm also nervous as hell too. Okay anyways, I need you to come to our favorite place to hangout. We are always here everyday. It's like a hangout spot even though it's not. There, you will get your surprise.

As I read the last note, I awed as she said she was nervous.

"We mainly hangout at her house. That's where we are everyday." I say as I turn to Cassie with an excited smile and she smiled back just as excited. We run out of the fair and back to the car. Cassie starts up the car and drives down the road as we quickly head back to her, Lexi and Reese's house.

Reese's POV:

15 minutes later:

Cassie🧚‍♂️: Maddy and me are pulling into the driveway. I repeat, Maddy and me are pulling into the driveway.

As I read the text my eyes go wide.

"They are outside mom! Warn the others inside!" I yell to her as she was out here hanging with me and giving me a pep talk and she nods and runs back inside with the gift she was assigned to in hand.

I do a few deep breath exercises because I literally feel like I just shit my pants. I begin to feel nervous as fuck and I continue doing the deep breathing exercises so I can fully calm down.

Maddy's POV:

I get out the car and I immediately see Fez and Ash standing outside with a small bouquet of blue tulips in their hands. Ash had a big basket in his hand as well.

I gasp and walk up to them quickly.

"These are for you ma'am." Ashtray said as he handed me the flowers in his hand.

"Your favorites." Fez said with a smile as he handed me the bouquet in his hand and I take them as I look at them in awe.

I give them a quick hug and I see Ash begin to walk next to me. We walk up the porch to go inside.

Once I'm inside, I immediately see roses and pink daisies all over the floor expect for where I am standing and where my friends were standing. I see all of my friends holding different things.

"For you." Kat said while handing me a heart shaped box of chocolates and I hug her and smile. I place the chocolates inside the basket as Ash follows me.

Jules hands me a cute small teddy bear and I awe and take it. I place that inside the basket.

Rue handed me a pack of my favorite perfumes, Chanel Rośe, and I grin at her. I smell it and it smells amazing as always. In the basket it goes.

BB handed me a blanket that had a picture of Reese and I printed onto it.

"Oh my gosh this is so adorable!" I squeal in excitement and BB chuckles while hitting her vape. I playfully roll my eyes because of course she's vaping right now. I hold the blanket against my chest and I sigh as I kiss it and put it in the basket.

I didn't even realize it but as I was accepting the gifts, I got closer and closer to the backyard. I was now almost in the kitchen.

"Chocolate covered strawberries, your favorite dessert." Lexi says while handing me the container and I smile and give Lex a hug. I put the chocolate covered strawberries inside the basket and continue to walk.

"And lastly, a photo album of every photo you and Reese even took together." Suze said with a smile as she hands me a photo album and I can see a collection of pictures of me and Reese on the front already.

I gasp and I read the title.

Reese and Maddy... every moment on photo.

I feel tears start to well in my eyes as I look inside the book. It's so beautiful.

"No tears right now, we haven't gotten to the good part yet." Suze said while smiling and gesturing for me to go outside.

I softly place the photo album in the basket and Ashtray followed me outside.

Once I get outside, I gasp and smile as I see Reese standing under a huge sign that said "Reese and Maddy."

I loved her outfit. It looked so good. She looked so beautiful. Like fucking stunning. And her hair. Her hair was fucking amazing. I loved her new haircut and hair color. I already saw her with it but every time I see her with it I just melt. Her old hair was just as amazing but this new hair is something else.

There are light purple balloons hung up outside and light purple decoration lights hung up.

"Reese." I say as I look at her in awe and tears leave my eyes.

"Hey love. Welcome to your surprise." She state with a soft smile and I walk up to her. I see her wink behind her and I turn around and see everyone standing behind us while watching in awe. I turn back around with a smile.

"Reese, this is all so nice. I fucking love it." I say as more tears leave my eyes.

"Your so welcome my love." She replies as she gently wiped my tears away. "Maddy, I wanna start off by telling you, I love you. I love you Maddy. And knowing you for this past decade and more has been fucking amazing. Your the light of my life. Your always there for me when I need you. You support me with everything I do. Like your so fucking amazing." Reese informs me with such a genuine passion in her and oh my god I'm about to full on cry.

"I've been in love with you since I met you. Your so damn beautiful Maddy. Everything about you I love. From your smile, to your personality, the way you stand up from me." Reese admits as tears pool out her eyes and more leave mines. I am so close to sobbing. "The way you are so real and so brave. And I just really love you, what's not to love like fuck-" Reese began to ramble towards the end and her mom cuts her off.

"Stop rambling and ask her the question Reese." Suze said with a sigh and everyone laughs, including Reese.

"Fuck if she's right. Maddy, will you do me the honors-" Reese started but this time I cut her off.

"Hell fucking yes I'll be your girlfriend!" I yell out as I grab her cheeks and smash her lips against mines. I hear everyone cheering loudly from behind us and Reese grins into the kiss and snakes her arms around my waist.

We kiss passionately for a while until we both pull away with a pop.

"You heard that guys!! She said yes!!" Reese yelled out excitedly while cheering and everyone rushes over to us and hugs us.

"Told you she would say yes homie." Fez said as he dapped up Reese, looking so proud of her.

"My baby has a girlfriend!" Suze said while hugging both Reese and I and we both laugh.

"Now clean up my house." Suze said in a mom tone while gesturing inside and out here and the way her voice changed made everyone burst out laughing.

"Congratulations bitches!!" BB and Kat yell out as they hug us tightly.

"Thank you guys. I couldn't have done it without you." Reese says as I grab her hand and she looks at me. I stare at her with pure love in my eyes.

"God Reese I love you so much. Your the best fucking thing to ever happen to me." I say as I can feel my tears ruining my mascara.

"Hey, I'm not worth ruining your precious makeup over." Reese sniffles while reaching up and gently wiping away my tears and I shake my head.

"Yes you fucking are." I say as I am full on crying now and I bring her into another passionate kiss. I wipe her tears away with my thumb, never daring to break the kiss.

We both slip our tongues into each other's mouths with a slight moan and we smile into the kiss, feeling extremely happy in this moment.

Reese and I are finally dating. After so long of being in love with each other, we are finally in a relationship. I have never been so happy in my life than I am right now. Well, expect for when Reese and I had sex and our first kiss.

Those are the happiest moments of my life. I literally can't believe Reese is finally all mines.

Reese's POV:

I finally fucking got my girl.
