Reese POV:

There was a Halloween party today but Maddy and I decided not to go to early. We were gonna watch a movie and then go. Which we are doing right now. It's been a few weeks since the incident and the whole police station thing. Nate was temporarily expelled from school, at least until they figure this whole thing out. He's guilty and we told them he was guilty but they said "it just doesn't work like that."

Like what the fuck is that supposed to mean.

But Maddy has been doing some much better over the last few weeks. Nate has to stay away from her, the detective demanded it.

Maddy and I were cuddled up in her bed watching Forrest Gump.

"Jenny and Forrest honestly have such a beautiful love story. They remind me of-" I stated but I got cut off by Maddy.

"Us? Maddy asked with a raised eyebrow and I chuckle, blush and nod.

"Yeah us. They started off as best friends and became something more." I stated with a soft smile and Maddy looks up at me with a smile.

"Reese, it's obviously that we really like each other. I mean we admitted it to each other." Maddy started off as she had her head on my chest. I nod and gesture for her to continue.

"And I want something more with you. But I wanna take it slow. I just got out of the most toxic relationship of my life. I wanna take my time with you, that's if you want something with me." Maddy explains to me and she looked up at me with hopefulness in her eyes.

"Of course I want something with you Maddy. I've wanted you for years now. And I don't mind taking it slow. We can just chill and have fun." I tell her with a shrug and I hold her closer to me.

"Really? You don't mind taking it slow?" Maddy asked me with a raised eyebrow and I nod my head.

"I definitely don't mind taking it slow. Maddy, taking our time is the best thing for you right now. You just dealt with something traumatic. I don't want you rushing into anything with me." I tell her sincerely as I stroke her hair and she grins.

"Your amazing you know that?" She tells me as she cups my cheeks and I smile.

"Yeah I know, I'm awesome." I pretend to brag and Maddy giggles. She holds me closer if that's even possible and we continue to watch the movie.

Maddy and I just entered the party and I immediately see someone dressed as a grandpa. Creepy thing to see as you enter a party.

Maddy was dressed as Iris from the movie Taxi Driver and I was dressed as The Joker. Our costumes were amazing. We were holding hands and we walk through the party with smiles on our faces.

We see Nate's stupid football friends glaring at us but we honestly don't care. They only defend him because are his minions and they are scared of him.

We walk towards the kitchen and as we get there, we see Rue, Jules and Lexi.

"Hey guys, what's up?" I say as we walk over to them and they smile when they see us.

"Heyyy y'all!" Jules said as she gave both of us a hug.

"What's up!" Rue said as she gave us a hug as well.

The three of them know what Nate did to Maddy and were all worried for her when they found out. They constantly checked up on her and I loved that Maddy knew she had support around her. They don't talk about it anymore though because Maddy asked everyone not to bring it up unless she mentioned it first or some new information about it came up.

"Guess who I am." Lexi said excitedly and I look over her outfit. Afro wig. Blue button up shirt, blue jeans, glasses, fake mustache.

"Hmmm... oou oh! Dads old friend!" I say confidently and Lexi gives me a shocked look as Rue and Jules laugh.

"No, I'm Bob Ross! The painter?" Lexi blurts out while gesturing to her outfit.

"Who the hell is that?" Maddy asked with a confused voice and I nod my head.

"All you guys can eat shit." Lexi tells us as she walks away from us and we all laugh.

"Wanna try Jell-O shots?" Maddy asked me as she brought my ear to her lips so she can speak into it since the room was so loud.

"Sure." I say into her ear back and she walks me over to a table with jello on it. The jello was red. Maddy pours some jello into two small cups for both me and her. She handed me the cup and I quickly downed it and so did she. It tasted like cherry and liquor.

"That was disgust." I say while shaking my head and gagging. The texture is okay but the flavors mixed together didn't go well.

"I agree. Worst than Hennessy by itself." Maddy said with a sigh and I nodded in agreement.

We walk over to a couch and sit down on it.

"You know, we just got here and I am already not having fun. I thought this party would be fun." Maddy said with annoyance and I look to her.

"This party does suck. I don't even know who's house it is." I say with a sigh and Maddy leans her head on my shoulder.

"I would leave but I promised my mom that I would take Cassie and Lexi home. I don't even know where the fuck Cassie it." I say with a sigh as I palm my face and shake my head.

"Wanna just sit here and talk about nothing until they are ready to go?" Maddy asked me and I nod my head.

"What's another thing you wanna do before you die?" I asked her with curiosity in my voice. I already know she wanted to skydive before she died.

"Besides skydiving, I'd probably say I wanna swim with dolphins. They are just really cute animals when they don't open there mouths." Maddy says while cuddling into me and I let out a chuckle.

"They do look creepy when they open their mouths. But other than that they are cute." I reply as I brush some hair behind my ear with my fingers. "But that's really cool. I'd definitely do that with you." I told Maddy as I rub her shoulder.

"I'd like that." Maddy admits while smiling brightly. "What's another thing you wanna do before you die besides fly in first class?" Maddy asked me with a chuckle and I tap my chin.

"Probably go snorkeling. I wanna see all the corals and all the fishes down there." I tell her with a smile as I imagine swimming when all the fishes.

"That sounds so cool and nice. I would totally do that with you." Maddy admitted and I nodded with a smile.

"Awesome. I guess we are doing the things we wanna do before we die with each other." Maddy states as she looks into my eyes.

"I guess we are." I state with a grin and we continue to talk about nothing and everything.

I was in the store with Fez and Ash. We were just hanging out and talking. I was eating these gummy bears. They tasted extra good for some reason.

I didn't tell them about what happened to Maddy because I don't know if she's okay with me telling them. If she tells me she's okay with me letting them know, then I'll tell them. But for now, no.

I had like three bags of this. I was so disappointed in how the bags were so small. And they came in a sealing package. Why is this deliciousness so small?

"Nah man but I'm really ready for the new year. New shit to own, more money." Fez said and I nod my head and throw more gummy bears in my mouth.

"Same, New Years Eve is always fun. I can't wait." I tell him as I chew on the gummy bears.

"Yo, slow down with that." Ash tells me as he looks at me with a shocked look. He was eating some cereal.

"Why they are gummy bears? And they taste fucking amazing." I say as I throw some more into my mouth.

"Yo, Reese's pieces, those are edibles." Fez said in his monotone voice and I smile.

"If it was inedible, I'd be dead by now." I say with a laugh as I chew on some more.

"No, those are edibles. Like they got weed and shit in them." Fez told me and my eyes go wide as I spit out the gummy bears in my mouth into a nearby trash can.

"Are you serious?? And you didn't tell me?!" I yelled out as I feel my face and begin to panic.

"We thought you knew, yo ass was eating it like it's your last meal." Ash said with a shrug and he goes back to eating his cereal.

"Oh my god, fuck!! I just ate edibles. Fuck!!" I yelled out while begin to panic and I start pacing around the store.

"You ate like 4 packs. Oh shit." I hear Fez say as I run around while frantically panting and screaming.

"I'm gonna fucking die!!" I scream as I run past Fez and begin to feel my throat.

AN: I'm basing her reaction off of Jamal from On My Block if it sounds familiar.

I see Fez pull out his phone and put his phone to his ear.

"Dude I'm done for!!" I yell out as I grabbed his shirt and I feel the edibles taking effect. I finished my first pack like an hour ago.

"Fez, why do you have a gun in your mouth?" I asked him as I touch his face while squinting. I scream again and lean against a wall while starting to cry.

"Yo, you need to come by the store right now. Reese is high off edibles." Fez tells someone and I hold my throat while gasping.

Maddy POV: 20 minutes later:

I speed down the road after Fez told me Reese was high off of edibles. Why did she even take edibles??

Once I got to the store, I parked in the parking lot and ran into the store.

As I get in, I see Fez and Ashtray staring at Reese as she is panting frantically while leaning against the wall.

"As you can see, it's not good." Fez said while coming up to me and I sigh as I walk over to Reese.

"Reese, baby?" I call out to her as I slowly walk up to her. I'm walking slowly so she doesn't freak out. I've been around enough people who get high off of edibles to know how they act.

"Maddy? No, you can't see me like this!" Reese shouted as she covered her face and I inch closer to her.

"Reese, come on and let's go to your house. You need to rest. It's like 10 pm at night." I tell her as I put my hand on her arm. She uncovers her face and looks at me.

"Maddy, why do you have two heads?" She asked me while touching my face and I chuckle.

"I don't baby. Your imagining it because your brain is higher than a kite." I explain to her and she smiles and nods.

"Now let's go home. I hold my other hand out to her and she hesitantly takes it. I slowly lead her over to the door.

"Bye Fizzy pop and Ashes." Reese yelled out while squinting at Fez and Ashtray and they shake their heads while laughing.

"Bye Reese!" They yell back as we exit the store. We walk to my car and I open the passenger door. I buckle Reese in and close the door. I walk to the drivers side, get in an buckle myself up.

"You ready baby?" I asked her as I turn my head to her. I grab an unopened water bottle and Reese grabs it and drinks some.

"Let's go ma'am." Reese said while holding up the okay sign and I giggle and begin to drive.

The ride home was silent since Reese fell asleep. Once I got to her house, I look at her and saw she was still asleep. I didn't wanna wake her since she looked so peaceful and cute sleeping.

I got out my car and ran up to the front door. I unlocked it with my spare key and ran inside. I saw Suze, Cassie and Lexi sitting in the living room.

"Hey Maddy, what's up?" Cassie asked while turning her head to me with a smile.

"Hey Cassie, hey Lexi, hey Suze." I say while waving to them and Lexi and Suze wave back.

"Reese is in my car sleeping. She got higj off of edibles so she's not herself right now. I'm not strong enough to carry her inside so could you guys help me?" I asked them with a raised eyebrow and they nod.

"Now why the fuck would she take edibles this late?" Suze grumbled as the three of them get up. I turn around and rush back outside to Reese. I open the passenger door and see her knocked out. I hear her snoring and I chuckle at that. The three of them rush outside and come over to me.

"Okay place her arm over your shoulder and Lexi's shoulder." Her mom tells me and I get her out the car and do so. "Cassie, hold this leg and I'll hold the other." Suze told Cassie while grabbing Reese's left leg and Cassie grabs her right leg.

We all walk inside while holding Reese up. Suze manages to lock the door behind us and we walk up the stairs with Reese. That was easier than I thought.

"God the fucking snoring." Cassie said in annoyance as we finally got to Reese's room and I push the door open. We giggle at Cassie's comment and lay Reese down on the bed with her head facing the headboard. Lexi turns on the light.

"Alright, I got it from here. Thanks guys." I tell them as I give them all a hug and they hug me back.

"No problem." Suze said and she kisses Reese's cheek and ruffles her hair.

"Night guys." I tell them as I sit on the bed next to Reese and they walk towards the exit.

"Goodnight!" All three of them say as as they exit the room. I stand up and close her bedroom door. I walk over to her clothes drawer and get her some pajamas out. I pick out some blue pajama shorts and a white shirt.

I take off her clothes and shoes and change her into her pajamas.

I then grab some clothes for myself out of the drawer with my clothes. I quickly changed into them and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and do my quick nighttime routine. After about ten minutes, I shut the bathroom light off and leave the bathroom. I close the door behind me and walk over to Reese's bed.

Pull the covers out from under her and place the covers over her body. I get under the covers myself and lay my head on her chest. I rest my arms on her chest and snuggle into her.

Reese is snoring really loudly and if it was anyone else I would've been mad and probably leave but since it's her, I don't care. I close my eyes with a soft smile, letting sleep take over my body as well.

This chapter was really just a filler chapter since Maddy wasn't in this episode that much. But I hope you guys enjoyed it. Tell me in the comments what you think of it.❤️
