Flustered by the name that Taehyun had given to her, Yeji covered it up by chuckling at it. She wasn't flustered because she was shy, it was because Taehyun called her his queen. She found it funny yet adorable. Taehyun's face when calling her a queen was cute enough to make her flustered.

He looked like an absolute baby when he stared at her so dearly. That was why Taehyun felt hurt, she only see him as a baby brother. She kept babying him everytime she see him and he didn't like it. He didn't want Yeji to see him as a baby but a man. He wanted Yeji to see him as a gentleman.

"Alright if you say so. Let's meet our friends. They must have waited for us in the canteen"

Taehyun dragged Yeji to the canteen, away from the intense stares of their classmates, especially his fangirl who wouldn't stop watching their movement from the beginning of their convo. But Taehyun could care less about it, all he care was Yeji was now his though it was only for the night.

He didn't mind, he get to spend time with Yeji as he had wish for. His feelings for her wasn't mutual, but he would work as hard as he could to earn her love. He may acted like he was all innocent and adorable in front of her, but God knows better. Even Hana and Yeonjun does.

But it was his least of a concern since Yeonjun was now under the girl's control. That witch really had hypnotized the guy badly that it seemed like he was really madly in love with her. He took this opportunity to make his love fell for him genuinely. He want everything be genuine unlike Hana.

Only if he knew that she was his first and last love until obsession takes control of him.

"ENJOY, MY SISTERS AND BROTHERS!!!", Ni-ki shouted while thrusting his glass of grape juice to the air with the others followed him and slammed their glasses together.

They were at the canteen, but Ni-ki made it seemed like a party instead. But the elders didn't mind. He came all the way to the campus with Jungwon to visit them and they couldn't be more grateful for it.

"Wah!!! This juice is better than the one we had at our High, damn I didn't regret visiting here", Jungwon's word made the whole group laughed at him. He adorably puffed his cheeks with foods and the way he munched was like a bunny, it was no doubt that people would want to pinch his cheeks right away.

"Jungwon-ah, slow down! You'll choke if you drink that fast", Juwon warned as she looked at her boyfriend in worries. Juwon had come to join them along since her boyfriend had insisted her to. At first, she was confused why he was persistent until Jungwon told her about someone.

"Let him be, Juwon-ssi. If he ever choke, you can just give him a quick CPR!", Ni-ki jokingly wink at the couple who tried their best to hide their red faces. It wasn't like they never kiss before, but the mention of CPR brought back the time where Juwon and Jungwon first met. It was sweet and dramatic at the same time. And it led them what they were right then.

"Shut up! I know you feel single, go date Jung Rina if you wish to date someone!" Ni-ki made a disgusted face, rolling his eyes while resting his cheek on his fist. He turned to his sister who shrugged. The elder one smiled teasingly before took a bite of her sandwich.

Feeling a tap on her shoulder, she turned her gaze to Taehyun who was already staring at her, in adoration.

"You need something?", asked the clueless girl.

"Nothing, I just want to make sure that you're fine"

In the group of circle, there was only Yeji, Taehyun, Ni-ki, the Won couple and Hyunjin who recently arrived after his dancing class. There weren't much of them who attended the class that day. They were mostly were helping the teachers out to decorate the hall for the prom party.

"Thank you, my queen", Yeji looked at Taehyun in pure confusion which he found it cute. Her boba eyes were sparkling due to the lamp above them, making it looked like a star in the eyes.

"What, why?"

"For being my prom date. I didn't expect you to accept me. I know how much I had been making you feel uncomfortable lately, but I felt happy you seemed to be fine now"

"Hey, that's not a big deal. I was just overreacting about the situation I guess. I know your intentions are pure. Beside, you're like a brother to me. So I don't mind at all"

There she goes again with brother-zoning him. He despise that word, he never liked it. He felt nostalgic upon the said word. It reminded him of his first love who used to say the same thing before they dated. Or maybe, it was a sign that they would be a couple, soon.

"If you say so" His tone was more of a disappointed one which didn't go unnoticed by the girl. She wonder what made his mood suddenly went down. Was it because I brother zoned him?

Yeji wasn't that dense. She knew what was going on and she was aware of everything around her. In fact, she knew Hana was secretly taking a glance over their seat to look at Taehyun.

The corner of her eyes caught Hana staring at Taehyun way too long to be called a glance. The annoyance across Yeji's face was obvious enough to draw the attention of the Yang Jungwon. He then looked at the direction she was secretly looking at.

It was not a surprise when his gaze met with Hana's who seemed startled and quickly turned her gaze to Yeonjun who seemed sincere in feeding her. Deep in his heart, Jungwon knew Hana got something under her sleeve to make Yeonjun that whipped for the witch girl like her.

He knew what his Yeonjun hyung was like and how he acted. He may acted normal in front of the other, but neither for him nor Yeji found anything he did was normal. He never blink alot. Just like what he did everytime he looked at Jungwon, as if he had something he wanted to tell.

Flashback

Jungwon went into men's restroom to do his business until he saw a silhouette of a guy coming out of another cubicle near his. It was his Yeonjun hyung who looking dull and helpless.

"Hyung! You okay? What's wrong?"

The elder didn't bother to answer, he just looked at the younger one, blinking several time as if he wanted to give him a clue of something. Though he looked dull and lifeless, his eyes look darker than his usual.

"No, no, no. I am fine. No worries. Enjoy your day, Jungwon-ah"

With that, he went away.

End of flashback

"Maybe I just overthink. He seem fine with Hana. Playboys are all the same after all" Jungwon finished his sandwich and excuse himself to go home with his girlfriend. The others just let them go since they both need a time to be together too.

Ni-ki didn't join him because he still wanted to be with his Hyunjin hyung. He enjoyed Hyunjin's company since he always talk to him about his day which he always find interesting. He never complain and that made Hyunjin felt comforting as well.

While the both were talking, Taehyun also excused himself to throw all their rubbish away. Once he was from the others, he heavily sighed. He didn't know why he felt a sudden feeling of guilt and deep sorrow in his heart. It completely took over his mind that he felt the urge to give something up, something he loves and cherish.

"Do I even stand a chance?"

Have you guys ever felt a sudden urge
to give up? I don't why when I was doing
nothing I felt the sudden urge to give up
on something I used to be passionate
about. It kind of hurt me when this
feelings kick in because of
the sudden lost interest.

Not gonna lie, I miss hugging my best
friends. I usually went to hug them
which they found it random. But for me
it means alot. Just by hugging them, I felt
motivated to do something and it has
been awhile since I last hug them😔
