"So, you can see the future?" Scott asks.

I sigh and shake my head. "No, I can see the past. When I touch something, if it has a significant meaning, I can see it. Like my necklace." I point to my silver locket. "I found this when I was only ten. I was meant to find it. This was once owned by the True Alpha before us."

"That is so cool. What else have you seen?"

"That mark behind Derek's ear. When I touched it, I saw the figures but from a while ago. Someone actually shot one and killed it."

"I don't know if that's a blessing or a curse."

"Well, I see random images and flashbacks in my head. What do you think?"

He chuckles and we go to the garage. Me and Scott go off riding our motorcycles when the twins pull up on either side of us. We drive faster but they catch up easily. When the four of us pull up to the school, we put our helmets on our laps and look at each other. "You guys gonna be doing this all day?" Scott asks.

"All day," Aiden repeats.

"All night," Ethan adds.

"Is this about being in our pack?" I ask.

"No, this about you being the target of demonic ninjas," Ethan replies.

"You mean the demonic ninjas that pulled swords out of their chest and completely kicked our asses?" Aiden sarcastically asks.

"Yeah, those demonic ninjas."

"We don't anyone to protect us," I say.

"They were looking right at you two when the sun came up," Aiden reminds us.

"And they also disappeared," I reply.

"Argent thinks they just come out at night," Scott explains.

"Since this is our first experience with demonic ninjas, we're thinking we should play it safe," Aiden says.

"All day," Ethan repeats.

"All night," me and Scott mumble.

After Scott talks to Stiles alone, we walk down the hallways. "Did you tell him?" Aiden asks.

"No, he has enough on his mind."

"Well they're coming for you two in a couple of hours and so do you two."

"What if we're not the ones it wants?" I suggest.

"Who else is there?" Ethan asks.

Me and Scott both glance back at Kira who's walking down the stairs. I, all of a sudden, start feeling light headed. I turn to Scott and my surroundings start to get blurry. "Scar?"

I start to stumble. I feel Aiden catch me in his arms. My vision is now almost black. I can still see a couple things, such as, Aiden's shirt and my brother's worried expression. "Should we call Derek?" Ethan asks.

"He seems to be her key to healing," Aiden says.

I could sense Scott's hesitation. "Call him from her phone. It'll be a better possibility of him picking up."

Scott has Kira drive my motorcycle behind him while he carries me on his back to our house. He puts me down on the couch and hurries around to secure the house. I hear Scott try over and over again to call Derek. No answer. Kira says something and Scott responds with, "Actually we kinda have a security system. Things happened a couple weeks ago, a lot of things. We had our boss help secure the house."

"Your boss? Do we work for a security company or something?"

"No, he's a veterinarian."

"You had a vet install your alarm?"

"Sorta. But we can't arm it. Our mom has to."

"Where is she?"

"Don't worry, she's on her way."

I start to fall asleep. I snap awake to the door being unlocked. My father stepped in, carrying his laptop. Scott and Kira came running down the stairs. "What are you doing here?" Scott demands.

"And why do you still have a key?" I ask, trying to stand.

Scott catches me in his arms. I rest my head on his shoulder. "Funny you mention keys. While I still have a key to this house, I wanna know how you got a key to my office."

He turns his laptop around and reveals a picture of Scott and Kira. "If you wanna ask questions..." I start but my voice trails off.

"Go get a warrant," Scott finishes.

"I don't need a warrant to talk to my own twin daughter and son."

"You're just a gene donor. We got your hair color. So you can't play tough dad with us."

My mom walks in. "Hey, what's going on?"

"Maybe you three can answer that."

Then the sun sets completely. "Scott, the sun..." I whisper.

My father looks up. "What the hell is this?"

He walks past us. Scott turns around and we see one of the dark ninjas again. "Dad, no," Scott warns. "Dad, wait."

When he stops walking, the ninja slices his shoulder. Kira screams as he falls to the ground. Scott and my mom run to his aid, Scott dropping me to the ground. I just lie there, losing my vision. I hear Scott growl and then the front door slams open. I glance over and I see Derek slid in, in full wolf form.

The two fight with the ninja. I see my mom in the corner treating my dad. "Mom, the ashes," I say as loud as I can.

More ninjas appear but the twins crash through the window just in time. I, again, try to stand but it felt like something was holding me down. The boys are able to push all the ninjas out the house so my mom could make the barrier of mountain ash.

"Derek," I whisper, to remind them I was still down.

Derek runs over and scoops me up in his arms. "Wait, where the hell did you come from?" Scott asks.

"From following you," Derek casually responds.

"For how long?"

"All day."

Derek sits me up on a counter while Scott went to check on our dad. Derek plunges his claws into my back, making me gasp. I feel my eyes glow and my fangs grow. He pulls out his claws and holds me by the waist until I calm down. Derek holds me and just runs his fingers through my hair.

I hear Aiden questioning Kira then something pushing against the mountain ash barrier that couldn't go through. I hear Aiden ask Kira what she was. Derek pulls me with him toward them. "She's a kitisune, idiot. Use your eyes. You can see it all around her. They give off an ora. She just doesn't know how to conceal it. I bet she doesn't know what kind she is."

Kira walks off. Derek continues to stare at the ninja. "I wasn't gonna hurt her," Aiden blurts out.

"Not yet," Derek replies.

"Why do you think we're here, Derek? For a study group? We're here to protect the McCall twins."

"We're trying to fight for them," Ethan adds.

"I'm sure you are. I'm sure you'd kill for them. Are you willing to die for them?"

The twins look at each other with hesitation. We all sit in the living room. I sit on the couch, fiddling with my hair. I look up to see the ninjas trying to push through the barrier with their swords. I jump up and run to Scott's side. "What are they doing?" I ask.

"Looking for a weakness," Aiden replies.

I go to put my hand through but Scott pulls me back. "You can get through. They might pull you out."

The ninjas start to use their swords to try and push through the barrier. The one on the right uses his hand. We all move a little when he starts to push through. "Scott," Aiden says. "We have a problem."

Scott calls Allison. "Allison, please tell me you have something. They're here and they're trying to get in. It looks like they're going to be able to."

"Okay, listen. They're Japanese demons. They're called the Oni. They're looking for someone possessed, someone with a dark spirit attached to them," she explains.

"Kitsune," me and Scott say at the same time.

"How did you know that?"

"Uh, just tell us what else," I quickly say.

"Okay they won't hurt you. They know you're supernatural. But once they do this check, once they realize you're not carrying a dark spirit, they won't hurt you. I promise. All they're looking for is the kitsune."

Kira immediately starts to worry they're looking for her. "They're looking for a dark spirit. I know it's not you," Scott tells her.

I nod with a half smile. "Guys, you got to do something," Derek says.

We look up to see the Oni break the barrier and step in. "Don't do anything," Scott says.

"Just stand down," I say, gripping Scott's hand.

"Are they serious?" Aiden asks.

The two Oni grab Scott and Kira. They force them to stare into their eyes. Whatever they did, it made the two fall the ground. I step forward. One of the Oni grip my neck. I stare into it's eyes. They glow like fireflies. I growl and push my hand through it's chest and pull out a firefly.

The Oni disappears into the air. The other looks at me and vanish as well. I drop the firefly and squash it with my foot. Derek touches my shoulder and it was like being snapped back into reality. I look at Derek and fall the ground. I start to lose my breath and I pass out....again.....
