Scarlett

I drive to the sheriff station and rush to the sheriff's office. I see Young Derek. It still amazes me of how Kate managed to reverse Derek in age physically and mentally. We found him in Mexico, in an old tomb. I walk into the sheriff's office with the sheriff leaning on his desk and Scott and Stiles standing. "So, you told him?" I say.

Stiles shakes his head. "No, but he is about to go insane."

The sheriff huffs. "I want you three to be honest with me. Absolutely, completely, honest with me...have you been time traveling?"

"Wait, what?" Stiles and I say.

"Because, if time traveling is real, I'm done. I'm out of here. You're gonna be driving me to Eichen House."

"Sheriff, calm down."

"We found him like this," Scott says.

"Where? Swimming in the fountain of youth?"

"No, in a tomb, in an ancient tomb in Mexico, in the middle of a town that was destroyed by an earthquake," Stiles explains.

"You told me you were camping."

"And you said you haven't believed a word Stiles has said since he was born," I point out. "So, this is technically your fault."

Scott nudges me with his elbow. "He's been aged backwards, can't remember anything," he explains.

"We just need to talk to him."

"He's not talking to anybody."

"He'll talk to us."

When the sheriff brings him in and leaves, we ask Young Derek to come with us. "Why would I go anywhere with you?"

"There was an accident, you lost some memory but we can help you get it back."

"You can trust us, Derek."

Scott kneels down in front of him and make his eyes glow. "You're an Alpha. Okay who's she?"

"I'm Scarlett," I reply, making my eyes glow as well.

"McCall?"

I slowly nod. "Yeah, why?"

"I'm not sure. My mom has spoke a lot about about a girl with your last name. You're hot." I blush but Scott glares at him as the protective brother that he is. "So, who's he?"

We look back at Stiles. "Oh, the guy keeping you out of jail."

"Just let us help you," Scott says.

"Okay, dude, you almost tore apart two cops," Stiles reminds him. "You need to listen to us. That starts with no fangs, no claws, no wolf man, you got that?"

"I'm fine, as long as it's not a full moon."

"You still have trouble on a full moon?" I ask.

"I said I'm fine."

"You coming with us, or not?" Stiles asks.

"You want me to trust you?"

"We need you to trust us."

I walk to the front desk and wait. Scott and Stiles come back out and Derek fills out some paperwork. "I shouldn't have done that. I lied my ass off."

"Alright, listen, your ass is fine. You spared him a lot of unnecessary pain," Stiles says. "Figure this out in a day or two, he goes back to old Derek and everyone is happy. Except Derek, who's never happy."

"He's another person we're lying to. I feel it it's better sometimes when you tell the truth. With Lydia, our mom, your dad..."

"But it's Derek Hale. He may be a kid right now, but he's still Derek."

"Take him to our house, don't let him out of your sight," Scott orders.

"And where are you two going?"

"We're going to go talk to the same guy we talked to before."

"Um...I hate that guy."

Scott rides his motorcycle to a loft. We pull up and Malia is waiting. "What are you doing here?" Scott asks.

"I heard you were coming to talk to Peter. Since Lydia tells me he's Satan, I figure you shouldn't be alone."

"We can handle Peter."

"You can handle him better with me."

We walk in and don't see him. "What's wrong with you, Scott?" Malia asks.

"Nothing."

"Your heart is pounding like crazy. Are you nervous?"

"He's just bad at introductions," a man says.

We look over to see Peter lying lying on a couch, reading a book. "Peter this is Malia. Malia, Peter Hale. Peter, Kate did something to Derek so he's...younger."

He seems shocked. He drops his book and stands. "Beautiful eyes. Did you get them from your father?" he asks Malia.

"Mother."

"Anyway, I'm sure they told you a lot about me."

"The homicidal killing spree came up."

"Works and progress."

"Well, when you progress to your next killing spree, make sure they all stay dead."

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"You know about people being turned by a scratch," Scott says.

"Did you scratch somebody, Scott? Don't worry about it. Claws have to go pretty deep."

"But it's possible. Like if you claw out someone's throat."

"Well, yeah...but..."

I grab him by his arm and toss him over my shoulder, him landing on the floor. I press my foot on his throat. "Scarlett!" Scott exclaims.

"Does Kate Argent ring any bells?"

When he realizes our point, Peter's eyes go dark. He stands up and brushes off his clothes. "Can someone in this town, stay dead?"

"For once, Peter, I agree with you 100%," I say through my teeth.

"I think they were hoping you would," Malia says.

"Do you have any idea why Kate would turn Derek into a teenager again?" Scott asks.

"What color are his eyes?"

"Blue."

"After Paige," I say.

Peter nods. "Which means, around the first time he met Kate."

"Derek and Kate knew each other?"

"Biblically. That's right, Scott. You weren't the first to climb into a wolf hunter's bed."

I get a text from Stiles saying that Kate got Derek. Me, Malia and Peter run to go after them. "Wait!" Scott calls.

"For what?" I ask.

"Kate is twisting with Derek's head, again. We need to find her," Peter points.

"If we want to get ahead of her, we need to find out where she's going."

"We're not exactly brain trusted geniuses here," Peter says.

"Then maybe we should call one."

We call Lydia. She found a body, or a bathroom with a body all over its walls and floor. "What does it look like? Can you send pictures?"

"Uh...okay. To be honest, I have a 4.0 in biology and there are parts of the human anatomy that I have never seen before on these walls."

I hear Lydia struggle to keep composure. She sends a pic of a guy's organs ripped from his body. "Why would she want to kill a gas station attendant?" Malia asks.

"I don't think she could help it," Peter replies. "It was done in a frenzy. She can't control the shift."

"Derek said he has the same issue on the full moon, that means he's still learning," I point out.

We conclude she's looking for a Triskelion. We run to where Peter says the Hale vault is. While we're going up the stairs, Malia stops. "Did you catch a scent?"

"It's the same one, the same one as Mexico."

"What is she talking about?" Peter asks.

"One of them came after us in the church rooms," Scott replies.

"And one on the road," Malia adds. "They couldn't have followed us here."

"But they could've been brought."

"By Kate."

That's when we hear a deep growl. "Oh, I've heard that sound before," Peter says. "Did it have an animal skull? A human wearing a skull over its face?"

"I think so," Malia replies.

"What are they?" Scott asks.

We turn to see one, walking toward us at a extremely slow pace. "Beserkers."

Malia is about to attack when I grab her arm. "Are you crazy?"

"It's just one of them."

"Which gives us a chance," Peter says.

"To beat him?"

"To survive."

Peter takes an immediate run for it. It was time for Cross Country to save my life. We run up the rest of the stairs and the Beserker begins to run after us. I'm ahead, followed by Malia and Scott are far behind. I then skid to a stop when I see another up ahead. Then another and another. "Where the hell is Peter?" Scott asks.

"I don't know. He just took off."

We run up some stairs, then another jumps down in front of us. I turn to see we're surrounded. "Scarlett, get out of here!"

"I'm not-"

"Go!"

"Scott, I'm not leaving you!"

He kisses the top of my head. "Please go!"

I run and see an underground opening. I run to the Hale vault and, there, I find Young Derek and Kate. As soon as she sees me, she grabs me by my neck and holds me up against the wall. "Where is it!?"

I kick her in the chest until she lets me go. "Don't you ever do that again."

"Where's the triskelion?" I look at Young Derek. Kate grabs me by my face, her claws pressing against my face. "Tell me!"

"Deucalion destroyed the one I had!"

When Peter arrives, I grab Young Derek and leave. When we get to the parking lot, I tell him, "I think Scott needs help. He told me to run but I can't leave him alone."

"Alright, stay somewhere safe."

He goes to run and save my brother. I don't listen to his request and I follow him. I see he begins to have the upper hand but he starts to lose. When they throw him to the ground, I see him change. He gets them to run away in fear. I look over to see Scott, Kira and Malia. "Derek?" Scott says.

We slowly turn and make our eyes glow. I gasp. Yellow.
