Bow hothoof: c'mon dashie time for school!

Rainbow: * whining* I don't want to go daddy. I'm tired.

Bow hothoof: you'll be ok once you get there and see your friends.

Rainbow had not been sleeping very well and was really tired. She had to go to nursery in about 10 minutes and she really didn't want to go.

Windy whistles: do you want some breakfast dashie?

Rainbow: *shakes head*

Windy whistles: why not sweetie? Do you feel alright?

Rainbow: yeah I'm fine mummy.

Windy whistles: c'mon then let's go.

Rainbow had only been at school for about half an hour and already she wanted to go home she was just so tired, she had been sharing a room with her baby sister and she either cried or murmured and moved around all night. Rainbows parents were heavy sleepers and unless scootaloo was screaming they didn't wake up. Rainbow on the other hand heard scootaloo all night and she hadn't been able to sleep properly for about 5 days. Her friend pinkie came over to her wanting to play and she really was not in the mood for playing.

Pinkie: rainbow come and play!

Rainbow: don't want pinkie.

Pinkie: why?

Rainbow: just don't want to.

Pinkie: *screamin* please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rainbows head was starting to hurt partly from pinkies screaming and partly from her tiredness. Pinkie continued to yell and rainbow eventually snapped.

Rainbow: I SAID NO. NOW LEAVE MY ALONE!

This shocked pinkie and she just stood there not knowing what to do. Mrs feather boa then over to them as pinkie stood there with tears in her eyes.

Mrs feather boa: girls what's going on over here?

Pinkie: *quickly* I only wanted to play and rainbow yelled at me!

Miss feather boa: ok pinkie why don't you go and play with your other friends and I'll take rainbow to the office.

Pinkie: okie dokie Loki!

Miss feather boa then went over to rainbow who was now sobbing into her hands, she was really tired and emotional, her head was hurting and she just wanted to go home and sleep.

Miss feather boa: sweetie come here!

She picked rainbow up into her arms and carried her to the office she sat on the chair and held rainbow on her lap and just kept rocking her until she eventually calmed down. She felt rainbows forehead and didn't find any signs of a fever.

Miss feather boa: rainbow what's the matter?

Rainbow didn't answer she just buried her face in her teachers chest.

Miss feather boa: do you feel poorly sweetie?

Rainbow: *shakes head*

Miss feather boa: what's the matter then darling?

Rainbow: *mumbled* tired.

Miss feather boa: how come your tired sweetie have you not been sleeping?

Rainbow then told her about sharing a room with a baby who cried all night was keeping her awake and that her head was now hurting. Miss feather boa asked what had happened with pinkie and rainbow said that pinkie kept asking her to play and she had said no.

Miss feather boa: ok how about we call mummy to come and pick you up? We'll tell her what's happened and then maybe tomorrow after you've had a good sleep you and pinkie can apologise to each other and play together yeah?

Rainbow: u uh.

Windy then came to the school after miss feather boa had called her to come and pick rainbow up. Miss feather boa told her what rainbow had been saying about sharing a room with her sister and not being able to sleep. Windy took rainbow home they had a house themselves because bow had taken scootaloo to see his parents. Windy sat with rainbow on the sofa running her hand through her hair and tucking it behind her ear.

Windy whistles: why didn't you tell us you weren't sleeping baby?

Rainbow: thought you would be angry with me mummy.

Windy whistles: of course I would never be angry with you baby. How about tonight we move scootaloo into the other bedroom so that you can have a good nights sleep?

Rainbow: *tiredly* ok mummy.

Windy took note of rainbows eyes that were starting to droop and she could see that rainbow was ready for sleep. She gently picked rainbow up and took her to her bed. Rainbow started to whimper as windy put her down on the bed and pulled the blanket up.

Windy whistles: shhh sweetie go to sleep you need it I'll wake you up soon once you've had a rest.

She placed rainbows dummy into her mouth and gave her tank to cuddle. She kissed rainbows forehead and switched the light off as she left the room.

I know that rainbow always seems to be the same age in these chapters. I just find it easier to get ideas the younger she is.
