It was a new day at the nursery everyone was listening to miss feather boa read a story. " the gingerbread man." But rainbow wasn't really paying attention to the story, she wasn't feeling well and she just wanted her mummy's cuddles and too sleep with her soft turtle. Her head was aching and was starting to heat up, she started to cry which got the attention of her friend sunset.

Sunset: miss feather boa rainbows crying.

Miss feather boa came over to where rainbow and sunset were sitting and kneeled down in front of rainbow.

Miss feather boa: what's the matter rainbow?

Rainbow: *hiccups* I w-want mummy!

Miss feather boa looked at rainbow for a moment and then frowned. She felt rainbows forehead and found it to be quite warm.

Miss feather boa: do you feel poorly rainbow?

Rainbow: *sniffles* u uh.

Miss feather boa: ok shall we call mummy and ask her to come and pick you up?

Rainbow nodded her head but kept whimpering.

Miss feather boa: ok let's go then.

She picked rainbow up and took her the office. The nurse took rainbows temperature whilst miss feather boa called windy whistles asking her to come and pick rainbow up.

Rainbow: mummy!

Windy whistles: I'm here baby shh. Is she ok?

Nurse redheart: she has a little bit of temperature but with a little calpol (a child's pain medicine in the uk) and lots of cuddles and rest she'll be ok.

Windy whistles: ok thank you, come here dashie.

She picked rainbow up and carried her home as she had walked to the school. When they got home she put rainbow on the sofa gave her tank and her dummy (pacifier) as rainbow still used one when she was really tired, sick or really upset. She covered rainbow with a soft blanket after she had given rainbow some medicine they were sat watching cartoon on the sofa. Her mum was stroking rainbows hair as her eyes were starting to close, she was exhausted.

Windy whistles: it's ok baby you can sleep. She kissed rainbows cheek.

Within about 5 minutes rainbow was fast asleep.
