When rainbow woke up she wasn't feeling good, but she didn't feel poorly she was just really sensitive and teary and she didn't know why. Luckily it was the weekend so she didn't have school today, she just didn't understand why she felt the way that she did.

Windy whistles: *opens rainbows bedroom door* dashie it's time to wake up.

When she went into the room rainbow was sat on her bed with tears in her eyes, so windy went over to see what the matter was. She sat on the bed and lifted rainbow onto her lap and rubbed her back gently, whilst she asked what was wrong.

Windy whistles: *softly* what's the matter sweetie?

Rainbow didn't answer and started to cry and snuggled up to windy and buried her head in her chest. Windy just gently rocked and shushed her and then felt her forehead, which wasn't warm so maybe she was just still a little tired.

Windy whistles: *moves the hair out of rainbows face* come on sweetie maybe you're still a little tired,  so we'll get breakfast and then hopefully you'll feel better.

They went downstairs where bow was helping scootaloo to eat the banana that he'd mashed up and windy sat rainbow down at the table.

Windy whistles: baby what would you like to eat?

Rainbow didn't answer and started tearing up again.

Windy whistles: *down next to rainbow and rubs her arm* come on sweetheart you need to eat something, how about just a banana and a yogurt?

Rainbow: *sniffles* y-yes p-please.

Windy whistles: ok I'll be right back.

She kissed rainbows forehead and then went to fetch her the food.

Bow hothoof: honey is everything ok with rainbow?

Windy whistles: i think she's feeling a little sensitive and emotional today, so I think lots of cuddles might be in order.

Bow hothoof: well at least because it's the weekend there's no school or work, so we can have a proper family day.

Windy whistles: I agree hopefully some nice cuddles will help our baby to feel better.

Once they'd all had breakfast bow and Windy left the girls on the sofa watching tv whilst they did the morning chores. Rainbow was watching the tv with tears in her eyes and scootaloo was lightly poking her in the leg, this was really annoying rainbow as she was already really emotional.

Rainbow: *tearing up again* scootaloo stop it please.

Scootaloo didn't understand that what she was doing was upsetting rainbow and so she continued to do it, and eventually rainbow snapped.

Rainbow: *angrily* I said stop it!

She accidentally kicked scootaloo with her foot, not hard but enough to knock her over. Scootaloo started crying and bow and Windy came rushing in.

Bow hothoof: *frantically* what happened?!

Scootaloo: *sniffling* she kicked me! She wasn't hurt just more in shock. Rainbow however was now full on sobbing.

Rainbow: *sobbing* W-was a-an a-accident!

Windy whistles: why don't I take rainbow upstairs for a minute and calm her down, you and scootaloo can find a film to watch?

Bow hothoof: *sighs* yes ok.

Windy whistles: *picks rainbow up* come on baby lets go and have a chat.

She carried rainbows upstairs and once they were sat on the chair in rainbows bedroom Windy rocked her in her arms to try and settle her. She wasn't going to tell rainbow off because, she could tell that she was sorry and scootaloo wasn't hurt. She was just worried about rainbow and wondered why so she was so sensitive today.

Windy whistles: shhhh shhh baby it's fine.

Rainbow: *still crying* d-didn't m-mean t-to m-mummy!

Windy whistles: *rocks rainbow gently* shhhh I know you didn't mean too, I think you're just not feeling right today that's all.

Rainbow nodded and sniffled before she started to full on sob again and windy continued to rock and shush her.

Windy whistles: there you go sweetie let it out.

Once rainbow had finished crying Windy rubbed her back and lifted her up slightly.

Windy whistles: *moves hair out of rainbows face* do you feel a little bit better now baby?

Rainbow: *sniffles and nods*

Windy whistles: *kisses rainbows forehead* ok do you want to go downstairs and watch a film with daddy and scoots?

Rainbow: *nods* I apologise to scoot mummy?

Windy whistles: if you want to sweetie, come on let's go.

They went back to the living room and after rainbow apologised to scootaloo they snuggled up on the sofa and watched the film. Windy noticed that not even half an hour into the film rainbows eyes we're starting to droop, it had been a long day and she knew that crying made her baby really sleepy. She decided not to take rainbow up to bed but instead moved her into the corner of the sofa and laid her down. As she did that rainbow started to stir and cry again.

Windy whistles: *strokes rainbows cheek* shhhh baby go to sleep you need it.

She put a blanket on top of rainbow and after kissing her forehead she continued to watch the film with bow and scootaloo.

Bow hothoof: is she ok?

Windy whistles: yeah she'll be fine, she's had a long day. Hopefully she'll be back to her old self tomorrow.

Bow hothoof: I hope so, I hate seeing our little girl so upset.

Windy whistles: *looks over at their sleeping child* me neither.
