Rainbow was walking down the school corridor when she saw a poster on the wall, which read: "school football team tryouts, this Friday" this got rainbow really excited as she always loved playing sports and football was her favourite.

Rainbow: *to herself* awesome!

Pinkie: *screaming* WHATS AWESOME DASHIE?!

Rainbow: *jumps* PINKIE don't scare me like that!

Pinkie: sorry but what's awesome?

Rainbow: their having tryouts for the football team on Friday.

Pinkie: that is awesome! You should totally tryout you're great at football.

Rainbow: yeah it's after school, so I'd have to ask my parents if it's ok.

*time skip*

Windy whistles: how was school dashie?

Rainbow: it's was good. Mum can I ask you something?

Windy whistles: sure sweetie, what is it?

Rainbow: well this Friday there's going to be tryouts for the school football team, and I was wondering if I could try?

Windy whistles: of course you can! You'll be brilliant!

Rainbow: *excitedly* great thanks mum!

*after school on Friday*

Coach: ok kids this is your chance to get on the school football team, so give it your best shot!

All: YES COACH!

*time skip*

Rainbow had done really well in practice: she'd scored every goal that she'd aimed at and was quick on her feet.

Coach: you all did really well, the results will be on the wall by Monday morning.

*Monday morning*

Rainbow: I hope I've made the team.

Pinkie: of course you will have dashie!

Aj: you are one of the best in the school.

Rainbow: still everyone else was really good.

Twilight: well the poster is right in front  of us, why don't you go and have a look.

Rainbow: ok.

Rainbow walked over to the poster and stared at it for a few seconds.

Rainbow: *disappointed* I-I didn't get in.

The girls all looked at each other worryingly.

Rarity: oh rainbow were so sor....

Rainbow: *smiling* ha got ya! Of course I got in!

All sans rainbow: *sigh in relief*

Sunset: don't do that to us rainbow!

Rainbow: *chuckles* sorry it was just too good an opportunity to miss.

Fluttershy: well done dashie, we knew you could do it.

So rainbow was now on the school football team, and she couldn't wait to start playing.
