Rainbow was walking home from school and she had her phone in her hand and was listening to her music. Suddenly someone jumped out in front of her and pinned her to the wall.

Stranger: *in a serious voice* hand over your phone.

Rainbow: *confident at first* not going to happen.

Stranger: *growing impatient* listen kid I'm not in the mood for messing around, now hand over the phone.

Rainbow: *growing scared* n-no.

Stranger: *now really angry* right. I've warned you, you had the choice to hand it over, and you choose not to listen.

Rainbow: *stuttering* W-what a-are y-you g-going t-to d-do t-to m-me?

The stranger approached rainbow and punched her in the nose, once she'd doubled over in pain he punched her in the stomach. She collapsed and he continued to kick her in the stomach and ribs, he grabbed her roughly by the shirt, which he ripped in the process.

Rainbow: *crying in pain* p-please stop.

He backhanded her hard across the face which almost instantly bruised. He grabbed the phone and ripped it out of her hand and then reached into her pocket and took her wallet.

Stranger: *nastily* next time you stupid child, do as you are told.

He let rainbow go and left with her possessions. Rainbow was left shaking and in pain, she wasn't too far from home so she continued to head back.

*at rainbows house*

Windy whistles: rainbows taking an awfully long time.

Bow hothoof: hmm she does seem to be taking a while. I'll call her. *rings rainbow but with no answer* that's strange she's not answering.

Windy whistles: she's probably got her earphones in as usual.

Bow hothoof: yeah probably.

They then heard the front door open and then close.

Windy whistles: ahh they we go, that'll be her. Rainbow sweetie is that you?

They waited for an answer but didn't get one. They approached the door and called her again.

Windy whistles: *concerned* rainbow?

Windy was shocked by the site that she found rainbow was leaning against the door, holding her stomach and with blood dripping down her face.

Windy whistles: *rushing over to rainbow* oh my goodness baby what's happened?!

Rainbow: *crying* s-some o-one m-mugged m-me, a-and b-beat m-me u-up.

Windy whistles: *hugs rainbow gently so not to hurt her* oh baby shhhh come on let's get you cleaned up.

Windy took rainbow into the kitchen, where bow was looking seriously worried.

Bow hothoof: *in a protective tone* what happened?

Windy whistles: she's been mugged, can you get me the first aid kit and then call the police?

Rainbow: *distressed* NO! I don't want the police!

Windy whistles: *kisses rainbows forehead* shhhh sweetheart, we need the police to catch the person who did it.

Rainbow: *hiccuping* o-ok.

Windy used water and antibacterial soap to clean rainbow wounds, which was rather difficult because rainbow flinched a lot due to the stinging. She had look and feel of rainbows ribs and said they weren't broken just bruised.

Bow hothoof: the police are here.

Windy whistles: ok.

The police spoke to rainbow and asked her for a full description of the man who mugged her, which rainbow struggled with. He also asked her what he'd stolen and they provided her with a temporary phone until they found hers. The police left and rainbow sat on the sofa with her parents.

Bow hothoof: does anyone want a cup of tea?

Windy whistles: please dear. *stroking the hair of rainbows face* would you like one baby?

Rainbow had almost fallen asleep, but woke up and told her dad that she would like a cup of tea.

Rainbow: yes please dad.

Bow hothoof: *leans over and kisses rainbows forehead* I'll be right back.

He made the tea and they sat chatting for the rest of night.

*a week later*

Rainbow got her possession returned to her, and the man who mugged her was arrested and charged.
