Rainbow was having a really bad day and she didn't know why, it was the Easter holiday so she didn't have school. She was feeling really tired and overwhelmed by everything, even though nothing was actually happening. Rainbow had anxiety and that sometimes causes her to have meltdowns for reasons that she didn't know or understand. She'd been crying all morning and windy had suggested she go to her room for a little while to try and calm down.

Windy whistles: *knocks on rainbows door* dashie can I come in?

Rainbow: *quietly* y-yeah.

Windy whistles: *walks in the room* you feeling any better now sweetie?

Rainbow: a little bit I'm ready to go back downstairs now.

Windy whistles: ok come on then.

They went downstairs and joined bow and scootaloo for lunch. However soon after lunch rainbow started to feel the overwhelming sense of anxiety return and she burst into tears and started shaking her leg, she had a weighted lap pad so bow rushed to get that, whilst windy rubbed rainbows back to try and calm her down.

Windy whistles: shhh it's alright baby, do you wanna have a chat?

Rainbow: *crying* y-yes p-please!

Windy whistles: ok.

Bow came with the lap pad as well the stuffed animal that rainbow used when this happened, he then took Scootaloo to the shop while windy stayed with rainbow.

Windy whistles: so what's the matter sweetheart?

Rainbow: *hiccuping* I-I d-don't k-know!

Windy whistles: ok, ok just take some deep breaths and then maybe we can talk some more.

Rainbow did this and then her and Windy were able to talk.

Windy whistles: rainbow do you think it's just your anxiety causing this?

Rainbow: *sniffles* I think so.

Windy whistles: *kisses rainbows temple* ok do you need me to leave whilst you do your calm down exercises?

Rainbow: *shyly* can you stay please?

Windy whistles: *taking rainbows hand into her own* yes of course I'll stay.

She stayed with rainbow as she small breathing and counting exercises which help her to calm down. Once rainbow had done that she felt really tired as she always did after a meltdown, so windy left her to get some sleep.
