Rainbow and her family going to the store to get some essentials, rainbows sister scootaloo was only a few weeks old and they needed to grab some extra nappy's (diapers in the US) and other supplies such as food.

Windy whistles: now rainbow when we get to the store you need to stay close to the buggy so me and daddy know where you are ok?

Rainbow: ok mummy.

They got to the store and once they were out of the car bow put scootaloo in the buggy while rainbow grabbed hold of the buggy handle. Since having the baby rainbows parents had not really been being a lot attention to her. She was getting board with looking at clothes for her sister and wanted to go look at something else.

Rainbow: *pulls on windy's leg* mummy? Can we go home yet?

Windy whistles: just a second dashie we still need to have a look at shoes for your sister, and then we still need to get food.

Rainbow decided she was a big girl and was going to go and get the food for her mummy so they could get home quicker. She walked to the other side of the shop where there food was kept, she got all the foods she knew they ate and some cookies for herself. (She got the foods she could reach) once she got them she needed to and find her parents but realised the store was much bigger than she had realised. She wandered around the store for what she felt was hours but in reality was probably only about 20 minutes. She was starting to get worried that her mummy and daddy had left her behind because they loved scootaloo more, she stood in the one of the aisles at the store and started to cry when she she saw some one bend down to her height.

Store worker: are you ok sweetie?

Rainbow: *crying* n-no!

Store worker: what happened?

Rainbow: I-I c-can't f-find m-my m-mummy a-and d-daddy!

Store worker: oh dear shall we see if we can find them?

Rainbow: *sniffling* u uh.

Store worker: ok come on then.

He picked rainbow up and rested her on his hip he carried her over the office and asked his colleague if he knew where her parents were. They said that they'd already been through check out and had headed outside. The store worker then picked rainbow up again and took her out side the car park.

*at the car park*

Bow hothoof: do we have everything?

Windy whistles: yeah I think so, let's go home.

The started to pull out of the car park when windy realised they'd forgotten something very important.

Windy whistles: RAINBOW!

Bow hothoof: *slams breaks on the car* what's wrong rainbows right he-

He realised that rainbow wasn't in the back of the car with scootaloo or any where in the car for that matter. They got out of the car and started frantically searching the car park (it's a big store so a big car park)

Windy whistles: I can't believe I've let this happen!

Bow hothoof: honey it's not your fault.

Windy whistles: of course it is! I promised that I would pay attention to her and now I've lost her!

Just then they heard a voice in the distance.

Rainbow: mummy!

The store worker put her down and she ran up to windy and jumped into her arms.

Windy whistles: oh dashie baby your ok.

Bow hothoof: *gentle scalding* rainbow what have we said about wandering off with me or mummy?

Rainbow: *ashamed* don't do it. But I went to get the food so we could go home, Sorry daddy.

Bow hothoof: *sighs* it's ok dashie I'm just glad you're safe. *turns to the store worker* thank you for looking after her.

Store worker: no problem, she's been good as gold. Bye rainbow.

Rainbow: bye mister shop man!

Windy whistles: *chuckles* right come on you I think you and scoot need a nap.

Rainbow: ok mummy.

Rainbow and scootaloo fell asleep in the car on the way home, when they got into the house windy and bow layer them on the sofa and placed a blanket on them and let them sleep for a while. After this moment BOTH children were given the attention they deserved.
