Bow and Windy were going for weekend away and Scootaloo was going on a residential school trip.

Windy whistles: maybe we should get a sitter to look after rainbow?

Bow hothoof: yeah maybe.

Rainbow: what? No I'm 14 I don't want or need a baby sitter. I'll be ok on my own.

Windy whistles: I know dashie and we do trust you, but it's for the whole weekend.

Rainbow: mum I'll be fine, I'll text you every hour.

Windy whistles: *sighs* ok we'll leave you home alone for the weekend, but I'm asking Mrs glitter (the next door neighbour) to ring the house to check on you every once in a while.

Rainbow: ok.

*the day everyone's leaving/staying at home*

Bow hothoof: ok so scoots gone to school with sweetie belle, are we ready to go?

Windy whistles: I think so (sighs) rainbow please be careful and don't burn the house down please (this is set before the house fire story)

Rainbow: yes mum i promise I'll be careful, have fun on your weekend. And no funny business, I don't want another sibling!

Windy whistles: *chuckles* don't be so cheeky. Alright we'll see you on Monday.

Rainbows parents kissed her goodbye and then they left.

*during rainbows weekend*

Rainbow spent the whole weekend watching movies and eating junk food. Eventually she got bored of hanging out by herself so she decided, to call one of her friends.

Rainbow: *on the phone* hey sunset my parents aren't home, do you wanna come and hang out?

Sunset: *on the phone* sure I'll be there in 10.

When sunset arrives at rainbows house the girls played video games, which is something that sunset did like to lose at, and became aggressive if she did.

Rainbow: Ha! I win again and you are a sore loser!

Sunset: *aggressively* oh yeah?! Well if you didn't breath so loudly I wouldn't have lost, focus and i would've won!

Rainbow: *raises her hands in surrender* whoa sunset chill I was joking and it's just a game.

Sunset: *calms down* you're right rainbow and I'm sorry. I best be headed off my parents will be wondering where I am, I'll see you at school on Monday.

Rainbow: ok bye. And you're still a sore loser by the way!

Sunset: *shouts from the door* do one dash!

Rainbow spent the rest of time home alone just chilling out and watching films.

*parents return*

Bow hothoof: nice to see the house still standing dashie!

Rainbow: *smiles* ha ha very funny dad.

Windy whistles: I am pleased though rainbow. Ooh did Mrs glitter check on you?

Rainbow: yes mum she was her usual nosey busy body.

Windy whistles: *sighs* right. So did you enjoy your time alone?

Rainbow: yes I loved being home alone!
