Windy had, had to take rainbow to the doctors because she had a really chesty cough as well as other symptom, such as a high temperature, wheezing, shortness of breath and chest pain.
The doctor had diagnosed rainbow with a chest infection and told windy that she needed plenty of rest.

*windy and rainbow arrive home*

Rainbow had fallen asleep in the car so windy had to carry her into the house. Bow had stayed at home looking after scootaloo, as there was no point in taking her to the doctors.

Bow hothoof: *is playing with Scootaloo when he sees Windy carrying rainbow inside* how is she?

Windy whistles: *sighs and rubs rainbows back* she's got a chest infection doctor says to give her some calpol for her temperature, just to let her rest. Her breathing is quite short and wheezy so I think I'll put let her sleep on the sofa, so we can keep an eye on her.

Bow hothoof: that sounds like a good plan. I'm going to get scoot ready for her nap and then they can both sleep on the sofa.

Windy whistles: ok.

Bow took Scootaloo upstairs to get her ready for a nap whilst windy got rainbow settled on the sofa. Rainbows breath was really rattly and wheezy, but windy knew there was nothing she could do other than let her rest.

*rainbow wakes up*

When rainbow woke up she immediately started to cry partly from her chest and fever, but also tiredness even though she'd been asleep for 2 hours.

Windy whistles: *picks rainbow up* shhh sweetie it's alright mummy's here.

She felt rainbows forehead again and found that it still felt very hot, so she gave rainbow some calpol and then sat her back down on the sofa. Scootaloo then woke up from her nap and needed her nappy changing, bow had gone to work so windy changed the infants nappy, and then sat her back on the sofa with rainbow. She noticed that rainbow had fallen asleep again so she recovered her with the blanket, and put the tv on a low volume for Scootaloo.

*an hour later*

Rainbow had woken up but looked like she was ready to drop again. Windy decided she was ready for an early night but she needed her to have something to eat. She managed to get rainbow to eat a small yogurt, just so she'd have something to eat. She cooked Scootaloo some chicken nuggets and then strapped her into her high chair.

Windy whistles: *lays rainbow down on her bed and places her comfort items under her arm, and kisses her goodnight. She left the room and switched the light off, leaving rainbow fast asleep.
