Rainbow: hey scoot how's school going?

Scootaloo: *sighs sadly* it's fine dashie.

Rainbow: *concerned* are you sure because you sound upset.

Scootaloo: I'll be ok rainbow but thank you.

Rainbow: any time squirt.

The truth was Scootaloo was not ok she was being picked on by a kid at school. The girls name was Babs seed and she was applejacks cousin. Applejack was rainbows girlfriend and scootaloo was worried that if she told rainbow what was happening, it would cause an argument between her and applejack so she kept it too herself.

*over the coming weeks*

Scootaloo's bullying ordeal seemed to be getting worse it had even started to become physical, and was becoming increasingly difficult to hide from rainbow.

Applebloom: why don't you just tell rainbow what's happening?

Scootaloo: *putting a tissue to her bloody nose* because she'll go crazy at babs and then her, and applejack might split up. And anyway babs is your cousin too so aren't you defending her?

Applebloom: Scoot. Babs might be my cousin but she's also a bully, and you're my best friend.

Scootaloo: *smiling* thanks applebloom.

Applebloom: no problem now come on let's go and find our sisters.

*at home*

Rainbow: *frustrated* I'm telling you applejack, she's hiding something!

Aj: rainbow I know you're worried but please calm down. You don't even know what the issue is, if there is one.

Rainbow: *snapping* OF COURSE THERES AN ISSUE! *calms down* sorry.

Aj: hey it's ok come here.

Rainbow went and sat down next to applejack and she gently kissed rainbows forehead. A few moments later the door opened to reveal Scootaloo and applebloom standing there.  Scootaloo told them everything.

*after the chat*

Rainbow: why didn't you tell me squirt?

Scootaloo: *embarrassed* I was scared you would try to "sort it out" and then you an aj would break up.

Rainbow: what makes you think i would do that?

Scootaloo: you always say if I have a problem You'll sort it out.

Rainbow: *chuckles* scoot that just means I'll be there to help you. I know it's best to leave an adult to deal with it.

Scootaloo: *sighs in relief* few ok.

Aj: Scootaloo why did you think that I would break up with rainbow if you told her?

Scootaloo: because babs is your cousin.

Aj: *understanding* I see. Well I'll be telling my aunt and uncle about this, and on Monday at school you need to tell a teacher as well as your parents ok?

Scootaloo: ok.

Applejack and applebloom went home and left rainbow and scootaloo alone for the weekend as their parents were away. They sat and watched films whilst eating pizza.

Scootaloo: hey dashie?

Rainbow: yeah scoot?

Scootaloo: thank you for not going crazy about babs seed.

Rainbow: *ruffles scootaloo's hair* no problem squirt. Just remember I'll always protect you.
