It was rainbows bath time and that was not an easy task, because rainbow never wanted to get into the bath but once she was in she never wanted to get out. Windy had gone shopping with some friends so bow had the task of giving rainbow her bath, he went into the living room to get rainbow out of her play pen.

Bow hothoof: *leans over to pick rainbow up* come on dashie time for a bath.

Rainbow: *whining* NO daddy!

Bow hothoof: hey come on none of that, once you've had a bath we can sit and watch tv.

*in the bathroom*

Bow hothoof: do you want bubbles rainbow?

Rainbow: *grumpily* huh uh.

Bow hothoof: hey no grumpiness or you won't be getting any of daddy's kisses.

Rainbow stopped sulking and allowed her father to undress her and put her in the bath. Bow let rainbow play for a little while and then handed her a cloth so she could wash herself. After playing for a bit more it was time for hair washing which was rainbows least favourite part of bath time, because she hated it when the water went into her eyes.

Rainbow: *whimpering* n-no d-daddy!

Bow hothoof: shhhh you need your hair washed dashie, I promise I'll try not to get it in your eyes.

He washed rainbows hair without getting it in her eyes and with little to no fuss. After he finished he decided to let rainbow play a little while longer, she started playing with the bubbles, putting them on her head and face as if she had a beard. After 10 minutes bow decided it was time to get out which was going to be another difficult task.

Bow hothoof: come dashie time to get out now.

Rainbow: *crying* NO!

Bow hothoof: *stern but gentle* hey behave. Come on we'll get you some pyjamas on and then we'll watch tv, mummy should be home soon anyway.

Rainbow allowed bow to lift her out of the bath and then he took her into her room to get dressed. He put some lotion on her and then a fresh nappy, after doing that he put her into a clean pair of pyjamas and then gave her, her cuddly bunny and they headed downstairs.

*20 minutes later*

Bow and rainbow were sat on the sofa watching some cartoons as bow was running his hand through her hair, windy walked in and saw them both and thought it was adorable.

Bow hothoof: hey dear how was your shopping trip?

Windy whistles: yeah it was fun, how's rainbow been? How was bath time?

Bow hothoof: *chuckles* eventful as usual.

Windy whistles: I'll bet, why don't I put rainbow to bed and then we can watch that horror movie you've been wanting to see?

Bow hothoof: ok yeah sure.

Windy whistles: *picks rainbow up* come on baby time for night nights.

She took rainbow upstairs and after giving her a bottle and reading her a story rainbow fell asleep. Windy went back downstairs to bow and they watched their film, now that rainbow was settled after her bath time.
