Bow and Windy had signed rainbow up to do ballet, something that rainbow was not happy about.

Bow hothoof: dashie give it a chance you might like it.

Rainbow: *whining* but this frilly skirt is really itchy!

Windy whistles: it's called a tutu rainbow and daddy's right you might have fun and make new friends.

Rainbow: *under her breath* I don't want new friends.

Bow hothoof: *sighed* well let's go anyway.

*at the ballet studio*

When rainbow go to the ballet studio she saw that were a lot of little girls and boys her age who were doing all these crazy dance moves, that she had never seen before.

Windy whistles: rainbow?

Rainbow: yes mummy?

Windy whistles: please join and try to have fun, I'll come and pick you up in an hour.

Rainbow: *sighed* ok mummy.

Windy left and rainbow was left with a bunch of kids that she did not know, she was quite shy around new people and her parents had thought this would help her. Suddenly someone come up to her tapped her on the shoulder.

Stranger: *shyly* e-excuse m-me?

Rainbow: *turns around* what is it?

Stranger: I-I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing, I'm new here.

Rainbow: *smiling* I'm new as well maybe we can work together?

Stranger: ok.

Rainbow: what's your?

Stranger: I'm star trail.

Rainbow: well star trail, I'm rainbow dash but you can just call me rainbow. Is it ok if I call you star?

Star: *nods*

Rainbow: awesome let's get this over with.

Over the next few classes rainbow and star really started to bond, they both thought ballet was boring and had been signed up for lessons by their parents for the same reasons. However they liked spending time with each other so they agreed to keep going to classes and after a while they found themselves enjoying it.

Ballet teacher: ok kids well done that was a good practice. Remember on Friday we have the recital so don't forget to remind your parents.

The kids all left and when rainbow saw Windy she ra up to her and asked if her and star could hand out outside of class.

Windy whistles: I don't see why not sweetie, we'll ask stars daddy if she can come over after the recital.

Rainbow: ok mummy!

Stars mother had passed away when she was really young and she was an only child, so it was just her and her dad at home.

*at stars house*

Star: and she's really cool and funny and she doesn't laugh at me when I do a move wrong!

Crescent moon: *chuckles* sounds like this rainbow kid is a really good friend.

Star: yeah she is.

The phone suddenly rang and crescent went to answer it. After a few moments of talking he was done and he went back to star.

Star: who was it daddy?

Crescent moon: that was Windy whistles rainbows mum, she wants to know if on Friday you'd like to go theirs for tea after the recital?

Star: *excited* yes please!

Crescent moon: *chuckles* ok I'll tell her.

*after the recital (i don't know anything about ballet so we'll skip that part)

The girls did the recital and it went really well now they we're going back to rainbows house for tea.

Crescent moon: star be good alright?

Star: I will daddy!

Crescent moon: *ruffles her hair* good girl.

The girls went to rainbows house for tea which was fish fingers and chip and then they played a couple of rainbows bored games. After a couple of hours it was time for star to go home.

Crescent moon: how was she?

Windy whistles: she was as good as gold.

Crescent moon: fantastic! Maybe next Friday rainbow would like to come to ours after tea?

Rainbow: yes please! Can I mummy?

Windy whistles: I don't see why not baby, but I thought you didn't want to go to ballet anymore?

Rainbow: I still think ballet is boring but star is really awesome and I like playing with her.

Windy whistles: ok as long as you keep going to classes because we've paid for them.

Rainbow: I will thank you mummy!

Her and star hugged and then star left with her father. Rainbow continued to go to ballet classes and realised as long as she had a friend it wasn't too bad.
