After my little breakdown in the infirmary, Hawks had taken me outside on a big balcony for some fresh air. I still hadn't found May or Umi anywhere either.

Fans and business men had been talking to him the entire time, but I still felt him watch me as I stargazed. I guess he was still worried about what happened earlier, even though I reassured him I was okay.

"Excuse me?" I heard a deep voice say, startling me. I turned and saw a tall man towering over me. "I don't think I know who you are? Have we met?" the man asked.

I was kind of nervous, but I managed to answer him. "I don't think so, my name is Maki Emiri, and you are?" I told him. He seemed confused at first.

"My name is Genji Jin," he said with a smile. My eyes widened, realizing who it was. "I'm sorry, I didn't know you were Jin," I apologized while bowing.

"There's no need to apologize, I'm guessing you've never seen me before then." I nodded, still embarrassed I didn't know it was the groom. How could I have known, May left before she could show me.

"Are you a hero? I heard people talking about another one here, but the only hero I recall inviting was Hawks over there," he pointed in the direction Hawks was at.

"Yes sir, I'm not well known so I doubt you've heard of me. My hero name is White Wing," I said. This time, his eyes widened. "I have heard of you! You were on the news a couple of times," he exclaimed.

I just smiled and nodded as he started telling me about all the heroes he's met before. All of the sudden I felt a weight on my shoulders. I looked up to see Hawks with his arm around me.

"Jin! I see you've met Angel here," he said. "Angel?" Jin asked. I felt my face get hot, I regret not telling him my real name now.

"Ah, that's what I call her," Hawks said, pulling me closer. "I see, when did you two meet?" Jin asked, surprised he and I knew each other.

"We met about a week ago," Hawks said. He started explaining how we met and what had happened as my mind drifted elsewhere.

I was still daydreaming when I felt Hawks lightly shake me, snapping me back to reality. "Hm?" I hummed. Hawks chuckled a little then said, "I said, do you want to go find your friends now?"

I looked up to see Jin had left and it was just the two of us on the balcony. "Oh, yeah sure," I said, then started to walk inside and look for May and Umi.

Hawks pov -

I followed the girl who was maneuvering through the small clusters of people inside. She seemed more relaxed which I was glad about. Earlier was a bit of a mess.

I never meant to make her cry. I guess I just have the tendency to say what's on my mind instead of thinking about how it'll sound. She definitely made me more aware of that.

She stopped walking as she looked around then started walking towards the backyard. "Em! We were just about to come look for you!" One of the girls said nervously.

I watched in amusement as the angel-like girl scolded her friend for leaving her before the girl gasped. "What happened to your hand? And why is Hawks behind you?" the girl asked.

"You'd know what happened if you hadn't left me," Angel said, still slightly scolding her. Her friend apologized over and over again.

She turned around to look at me before saying, "Oh right, this is Hawks, he helped me earlier when someone left me all alone." The girl then approached me with wide eyes and grabbed both of my hands.

"Thank you for taking care of my baby Emmy," she said. "You're welcome," I said with a soft smile. "You can go now if you want," Angel said to me.

"I have nowhere to be, besides the ceremony's gonna start soon so we should just head there now," I said. After what had happened, there was no way I was leaving Angel by herself, even if she was with her friends.

"So you'll be joining us? Great, let's go!" Her friend said before grabbing her wrist. I watched as Angel pulled back, slightly whimpering in pain and clutching her arm.

I rushed over and grabbed her arm, lifting the bandage a little to inspect her wound. "OH MY- EMIRI I'M SO SORRY!" the girl shouted. "It's fine really, you didn't mean to," she said, brushing my hand off and smiling at the girl.

"I'm taking you to the hospital if it gets worse Angel," I said. "What? No, I'm fine, it's just a bruise," she said. "Angel?" the girl muttered under her breath.

"And I told you not to call me that," she glared at me. "Technically you never told me," I began, but I didn't dare finish because she was giving me a death glare. I just smiled sheepishly and we all proceeded to walk away.

Emiris pov -

We all made our way to the ceremony that was scheduled to start in about 5 minutes. My wrist has been throbbing and every time I move it, I would feel shocks of pain.

I couldn't tell any of them this of course, because then they'd just worry and take me to the hospital. I could tell Hawks was being serious when he had told me he would if it continued to hurt.

The wedding ceremony was now starting and we all took our seats. It took quite a while, but after a good hour or so, it was over.

May had said goodbye to Umi and we had started making our way outside. "Time for clubbing!" May exclaimed. I looked at her, confused as to what she was talking about.

"What's that look for? We're going clubbing!" she exclaimed again. "No no no, I never agreed to go clubbing. It was wedding, then home, there was no mention of clubs," I said.

May groaned at me, "Oh come on! Just for a little bit?" She grabbed my shoulders and shook me slightly, making me move my wrist. I winced at the sudden movement but held in the rest of my winces as I remembered what Hawks had said.

That didn't help though because Hawks had already seen me wince and shut May down, "Actually, Angel's coming with me," Hawks said. I turned to look at him. "I'm taking her to the hospital," he said.

"What? No, I'm fine." He just glared at me with a serious expression. It was kind of scary. "Seriously, I'm okay, it's doesn't hurt."

"No Em, I think you should go, I saw you grabbing your hand a lot during the ceremony," May said, "besides, I might have some doing in making it worse and I feel horrible."

"May I told you it's fine, you didn't do anything," I said with a sigh. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Hawks teaching for my arm, but I wasn't quick enough to pull away.

He grabbed it and very lightly tapped it, which caused me to stumble back, grabbing my arm and gritting my teeth. "That was a light tap. You're not okay, let's go." Hawks said.

I rolled my eyes and grabbed Mays arm and started walking to fly home, but before I could spread my wings, I felt someone pick me up.

"You're so stubborn you know that?" I looked up at Hawks with a glare. "Put me down." He looked up as if he were thinking, "Hmm, no."

I groaned and started to kick my legs, but my movements just made me wince more. "See, you can't even move without it starting to hurt."

I looked over at May who was just smiling at what was happening. She then gestured for me to look around. Everyone was staring and I felt my face get hot again.

"Hawks put me down, people are staring," I said, clearly flustered. "Will you go to the hospital?" he asked with his eyebrows raised and a smirk on his face.

I gave him another intense glare then sighed, "Okay, okay. Fine I'll go, now put me down." He chuckled and put me down, then went to call a cab.

"Wait, what are you doing? We can fly," I said with a confused look. "Yeah, but your friend can't, and using your wings can put a strain on your shoulder which can hurt your arm more," Hawks said before flagging down a cab.

I groaned again and lowered my head. "Oh come on Em, taking a cab isn't the worst thing," May said. She wasn't wrong, but I hate cabs because they're always so small and smell like smoke.

We got into the cab, Hawks and I in the back and May in the front, because of our wings. I was too exhausted to put them away so I just let them be.

Shortly after, we arrived at the hospital and got checked in, then waited in the waiting room. May had already fallen asleep on my shoulder. I cant believe her sometimes.

"Emiri?" Hawks said. I looked at him with a surprised look, then remembered May had said my name a few times. "Mhm," I hummed.

"Was that so hard? Telling me your name?" he said jokingly. I scoffed, "I never told you my name because I didn't think we'd see each other again."

He hummed and gave me a "you were wrong" look. "What about you?" I asked. "Hawks," he said. I knew what he was doing. "Your real name," I said with an eye roll.

"Hm, I'm not sure you need to know that. We might not see each other again after this," he said with a smug look on his face. I just rolled my eyes again and tilted my head back to look at the ceiling.

"Takami Keigo," I heard him say under his breath. I glanced at him, surprised, then closed my eyes. [im coming for eminems career] "Maki Emiri?" a doctor called.

Hawks had helped me get May off my shoulder and I got up carefully, trying not to wake her. I followed the doctor back into a room where they did some x-rays.

When the doctor came back, he told me I had a slight fracture in my wrist. He gave me a brace and some pain killers along with a sling, incase I needed it. I was suppose to wear it for 6-8 weeks, but I knew that wasn't gonna happen.

When I came out, May had woken up and was talking to Hawks. "Hey! What did the doctor say?" May asked. "It's fractured," I explained, "Can I go home now?" I asked, looking at the both of them.

They both rolled their eyes and nodded in agreement. "I'm taking the both of you home though," he said. "You don't hav-" I began, but was cut off by May, "Thank you, we'd love that."

Both of our apartments weren't too far from the hospital, so we decided to walk. Along the way, we kept getting stopped by fans.

Most of them gave the both of us a glare, as if we were stealing him. May and I just laughed while he was being tackled by little kids.

Eventually, we made it to Mays apartment building first. We said our goodbyes and I agreed to bring everything she left at my apartment back tomorrow morning.

The rest of the way, Hawks and I got to talking and found that we had a lot more in common than I thought. When I first met him, I had assumed he was a cocky and selfish hero from all the interviews I had seen on TV, but he wasn't like that at all.

[A/N: hi! sorry this chapter was kinda long and boring but i'm working on brainstorming ideas for the next few chapters that seem promising so watch out for that! as always, thanks for reading. have a nice day :)]
