TEN

It was finally the end of August and I knew school started in four days. Mr. and Mrs. Weasley let Ginny, Harry, Hermione, Ron, and I go to Diagon Alley and stay at Leaky Cauldron for the last four days of the summer holiday as they had business to take care of at Grimmaulds place.

Over the last month and a half I stayed with the Weasley's and in that time I got one more letter from 'A' reading; 'Draco is better off without you. -A'

During our first day at Diagon Alley, Harry, Ron, Ginny, and Hermione decided to stay inside and hang around. I always knew they were closer friends with each other than with me but I did my best to stay around them even if they were ignoring me. I wanted to go out to look for Draco because I knew he would also come four days early as he usually did during the past years. After some convincing, Ginny finally agreed to come with me to look for Draco and to go shopping. We were on our way to the shops when an owl appeared in front of me. I opened the letter and began reading it to Ginny, my eyes growing wide as I continued to read. "You won't find Draco and even if you do you will regret it.- A"

Ginny started laughing all while I was staring at the parchment with worry and heavy disappointment. "Who does this person think they are? They are fangirling over your relationship with Draco. I mean I don't like you being around him but I'm not threatening you to stay away from him."

I nodded, not knowing what to do about the note. I wasn't sure if this person was just being threatening or if they actually had information about Draco's wearabouts. "When the term starts I need to find out who this person is."

Ignoring the threat as well as I could, I put the note in my pocket and headed to the shops. We looked around for Draco and went to a few stores before we realized we had been there for almost two hours. On our way back to Leaky Cauldron Ginny and I saw Hagrid helping out a first year and as we walked over to him to say hello, I noticed the same girl that Draco told me not to talk to during the Slytherin party looking at me through a shop window. I waved to try and be nice but she acted as if I wasn't there. My brows furrowed in confusion but I brushed it off as Hagrid began making conversation with Ginny.

I stood around while Ginny talked to Hagrid as I wasn't friends with him since I was in Slytherin. Hagrid always hated Slytherns no matter who they were. It almost made me sad how Hagrib began treating me after I was re-sorted into Slytherin, but I knew there was nothing I could have done about it and I chose to not let it bother me as I had plenty of other things to worry about. After they were done talking, I walked with Ginny back to Leaky Cauldron so we could spend the rest of the day with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. After Ginny and I got back to Leaky Cauldron we noticed that Harry, Ron, and Hermione ordered a pizza without us. I looked to Ginny and back towards Ron as he began talking

"Sorry guys, we thought you were going to get food when you were out." Laughed Ron. "You guys can eat some, we have another box."

As Ginny walked over to grab a piece of pizza, I stood in place and put a false smile on my expression, hoping to cover up my disappointment. "I think I'm going to head back out and get something else to eat."

"What, why?" Ginny asked, clearly forgetting my distaste for pizza.

"I don't like pizza."

"Oh, okay then. Bye I guess."

I waved bye as they all turned away from me and began laughing. As I left the room and turned to close the door I couldn't help but become jealous for the friendships I had lost so easily.
