Your eyes teared up. Rin removed his mouth from your shoulder, a bit of your blood dripping from the corner of his mouth. He wiped his mouth and kissed your cheek, "See ya tonight~"

"Damn it Rin! Don't bite so close to my neck!" you called after him.

Rin was your best friend. You had known him since....well, ever. You knew things he couldn't even trust with Yukio.

Like his recent development of vampirism.

Rin eyes were concerned, "Are you sure.....?"

You sighed, "I'm offering my blood to you. OF COURSE I'M SURE!"

Rin stood up and walked over to you, he opened his mouth and closed it around your flesh.

While it did hurt, it wasn't that bad. It wasn't pleasurable, but it was....just normal.

Rin blushed and lifted his mouth from your shoulder, "I....I...."

"Well?" you asked, lifting your shirt sleeve back up. "How was it? Did it feel like a guilty pleasure?"

After class, Rin asked you to stay for a little while so you and him could "talk."

You hissed, "Rin.... Damn it.... Let go...."

Rin's fangs broke the surface. Tears leaked from your eyes. You grabbed the back of his shirt.

Rin didn't reply. He simply sucked the blood slowly out of your shoulder.

"Rin.... Please...."

Your eyes met his. He looked like he was full of want. You nodded, brushing away tears from your cheek. Your best friend smiled. He kissed your forehead before locking lips with you.

The door to the classroom opened. You jumped and pushed Rin away.

"What...were you two doing?" asked Konekomaru. You blushed.

"N-Nothing-!"

Rin covered your mouth with his hand and put a finger to his lips, "Hey Koneko! Wanna know a secret? __________ and I are secretly dating~"

(^That was entirely a lie.)

You huffed, 'What the hell....don't just make up stuff...'

Konekomaru's eyes widened behind his glasses, "Really?"

"Yeah, _________'s parents won't let her have a boyfriend, and _________ has been so helpful with me that I sorta fell in love with her."

You blushed even darker, 'I am helping him....and my parent's won't let me have a boyfriend....But....does he really have feelings for me....?'

"So promise not to tell anyone, okay Koneko?" smiled Rin.

Konekomaru nodded and got what he came for.(He had left his wallet in his desk.) He smiled at you two and left.

"Rin!" you yelled after you were sure Koneko was gone.

"What?!"

"What if he tells someone we're dating?!"

"He won't do that. But if he did.....why would that be so bad?"

You looked at Rin, "Ne?"

Rin blushed, "I've had this crush on you y'know... Ever since we were kids.... That's why I told you about my vampirism.... Because I love you enough to trust you....."

"Rin....."

He grabbed your hand, "Please....go out with me...."

You stared into his blue eyes and smiled, "Of course.....Rin....You're my best friend...."

Rin smiled and kissed you. You kissed back, despite his mouth tasting like your blood.

Rin smiled at you, his bangs pinned back, "So what did you get for the third question?"

"You're STILL on the third question?!" you cried.

Rin lifted his book higher, denying you view into what he was reading. He pouted, "I have a short attention span."

"Give me it," you sighed, holding out your hand.

"What?"

"The manga you're reading behind that book, come on don't lie to me."

He blushed and held his book to his chest, "I'll go put it up..."

"What?! No! You're just going to read it again when I'm not looking!"

He reluctantly handed the manga to you. You studied the title and blushed. It was a manga you were familiar with. It was an erotic romance horror about a girl(who looked like you) and a vampire who cannibalizes her when she tries to leave him.

You put the manga away and cleared your throat, "O-Okay let's...go over everything and we'll look at the question again....."

'Would Rin.....ever do that to me? No.... He's my best friend....'

You smiled.

"Rin...." you said. Your shoulder started to ache from him drinking your blood.

He pulled away and wiped his mouth, "Something wrong _________?"

"I've been meaning to tell you something.....I still want to be friends with you.....but I don't think we should go out anymore...."

His face fell, "What? B-But why?!"

"I just don't think I'm ready to be committed to someone! It's not that you're a bad boyfriend-!"

Rin grabbed your shoulders and lowered his mouth to the spot above the area you designated for him to drink from.

"R-Rin! Ow! Stop it!" you cried.

His canines punctured the skin on the side of your neck. Blood oozed from the thick vein.

"R-RIN!" you screeched. You started to feel dizzy, "P-Please....I-I...going to..."

"I know..." he whispered.

"W-Why.....?"

"I'm the only one allowed to bite you ___________...."
