You sat up, panting.

'The same nightmare.....'

"Go back to sleep," you heard Itachi, mumble next to you.

"Yes...." you said, laying back down to your captor.

Itachi was decent for a kidnapper. He only came around at night, covered in bruises and cuts that couldn't be healed quickly.

Really, you weren't being held as a prisoner because you had access to the outdoors as well. Every time you tried to leave the grounds though, you would find yourself back in your room.

He wouldn't do much with you. He would simply stroke or smell your hair, or wrap his arms around your waist.

Most of the day was quite.....peaceful. Yes, you were isolated in the mountains with only a set amount a food a day......but.....you didn't mind.

You didn't have to do work around the home you lived in because there wasn't much you could do.

So you really would just sit around and read most of the time.

Lately though, you've been having nightmares about Itachi. When you closed your eyes, you would have visions of him beating you. His eyes would flame and he'd abuse you until you had screamed something that you could never hear.

So you watched Itachi closer than before, hoping it was all an unnecessary worry.

You set your head back down and stared at Itachi as he slept silently next to you. You watched as he calm breathing calmed you too.

Your eyes slowly became weighted down and you fell into a restless sleep.

When you woke up, Itachi was gone from the bed. Like always.

You stood up and made your way slowly to the kitchen, where you jumped back.

Itachi sat there, drinking tea in the kitchen. He turned his head to you, "Good morning."

"Wh-What are you doing here?" you asked shakily. You probably only talked to Itachi about 3 times. The first was when he kidnapped you.The last two were last night and when you first had the nightmare.

"Day off....."

"O-Oh....."

"There's more tea. Help yourself."

"Oh um....ok....."

You awkwardly poured yourself a cup of tea. You sat across from him on the floor.

Itachi put his elbow on the table and stared out the door. The cherry blossoms were finally falling. You watched them hit the ground beautifully. Wherever you were, in that moment, you were glad to be there.

You turned your head back to Itachi, to see he was staring at you.

"Why have you been having nightmares?"

"H-How did you....?"

"I haven't slept in the past month because you've been crying in your sleep...."

"Ah.....I'm sorry....."

"Don't be.....I like it when you cry like that......Peacefully.....No sobbing.....Just perfect silence and tears....."

You looked into your cup of tea.

"What were you dreaming about?"

"........you....." you said softly.

"What did I do to make you so upset?"

"Abuse.....You abused me....." you said.

"I'm sorry.....I hope you know that I wouldn't do something like that to you....."

"Would you though? Why would you bring me here of all places?"

"Isn't it obvious? Because I love you. I didn't want you to lead an uninteresting life and marry off to that brat."

"You took me away from my family."

"They didn't appreciate you anyway."

"How would you know?"

"Because ever since that day, I have been watching you."

"What day?"

"The day we met. Two years ago. Exactly two years ago in two hours."

"I don't

that."

"Of course you wouldn't.....You thought you were talking to a tree of all things....."

You blushed, "That was you....."

"Of course.....An unknown person speaks to you and you automatically assume it was a tree.....You can understand why I found it interesting....."

"I just didn't know what to call you."

"You came back every day until cherry blossom season ended.....I felt.....so alive talking to you....."

You looked at your lap, blushing.

Then you felt a breath in your ear and looked up to see Itachi sitting next to you. He pushed you against the hardwood floor and said against your lips, "I am......addicted to you......"

"Itachi........"

"Funny.....I told you my name once.....and you still remember it....."

You looked away. Itachi kissed your cheek, "I love you....."

"......Love you too....."

Tears streamed down your face. You covered your mouth at the sight of the dead man on the floor. Sobbing, you cried, "Itachi! Stop!"

"How did he get in here?! HOW?!"

"I don't know! I didn't-"

Itachi grabbed your shirt and brought you up to face him, "Are you implying that it was my fault?!"

"No! I just didn't-!"

"You claimed you loved me.....You lied....HOW DID THAT MAN GET IN HERE?!"

You cried, "Itachi please! I do love you! I do! Just stop-"

"If you loved me you would've told me the truth!" he slapped you.

"Itachi.....This is just like my nightmares.....Why are you doing this?"

"Because only I can have you! Only I can touch you!" he screamed.

"And I don't care how many people I kill, or how many times I have to beat you, to make you understand......"
